Academy

Alfin had thought that they would take some clothes for him and would go back but he was wrong, he had become a bag carrier in princess's shopping spree and they have yet to buy clothes for him. Shanna was shopping like she was going to empty the whole market which also includes daily necessities other that clothes.

"Why are yo buying so many things, do you even need these many things." Alfin asked.

"I will be going to the best academy in the continent to train in a week so, of course I need all these things." Shanna replied proudly.

"Well, is there a way to remove the seals of this summoning or I will be stuck like this my whole life." Alfin asked after being annoyed by all the shopping.

"I think you would be stuck with me like this your whole life because nobody has ever broken the summoning seals, but there is a way from which you can use your full strength." Shanna said pouting with anger.

"Princess could you please tell me about it, how can I get my strength back." Alfin asked pleadingly.

"Right now there is no way, but when I will get stronger I will be able to remove the seals for some time." Said Shanna.

"That means there is no way I will get my strength back this whole life." Alfin said depressingly.

Now princess's shopping was complete and it was time to buy clothes for Alfin. He has also gained some basic knowledge from all the shopping, like one gold coin equals to ten silver coins and one silver coin equals fifteen copper coins. They finally bought clothes for Alfin and started returning back to the palace.

That night king called the princess to asked about her summoning ritual and what happened to Clifford. Princess Shanna told him everything except Alfin's elements and him giving her a storage ring.

"What do you think about this Alfin, I know he is strong but we don't know anything about him and this is my first time hearing that someone summoned a person from summoning ritual." King Raymond asked.

"He is a nice person and he even gave me a beautiful dress see, well I am also at wrong by summoning him from his world." Shanna showed her dress to the king happily, king Raymond was astonished seeing the dress, and after touching it he was able to figure that the material used in making the dress was not simple.

"The material of the dress is peculiar and could even be compared to a high class armor, this Alfin doesn't seem simple. Well he can be your bodyguard for the time you are in academy as you cannot take any bodyguard in the academy, because he is your summon he will be allowed." King Raymond said.

"I still haven't told him that if I die he would also die because of the seals." Shanna said guiltily.

"You should tell him that, he would protect you properly because of that, you are too kind and easy to fool he will be there to protect you as he is your summon." King Raymond said.

King Raymond was right Alfin would be serious for protecting Shanna after hearing that his life is also dependent on her. Shanna was too naïve to live in the world where strength rules and she would be going to the academy soon where she will no longer pampered and kept like a princess.

Alfin was sitting in his room and practicing his element, not knowing about the conversation that happened between Raymond and Shanna. He was making progress in controlling his lightning element, he didn't practiced gravity because he want to master one element first.

Lightning was erratic and was hard to control and could even harm the user but Alfin had a good control over it and his body was strong so he could manage small backlash from it. He had to use his mana to control the lightning, he had spent thousands of years to gain control over his mana which he previously called aura force. So it was easy for him to control the lightning and he almost mastered it in one night.

Alfin spent the rest of the week practicing lightning and gravity, staying in his room only going out to roam around the palace and meet princess who was nagging him to go for shopping again for which he gladly said no. The time for going to the academy was now here, it would be one month of travelling before reaching the academy.

Alfin didn't meet anyone in his time staying in the palace he only met princess on daily basis at the time of their daily meals in which she told him more about the continent they were in. The continent was called Byrthi and there were three first class kingdoms, ten second class kingdoms and fifty five third class kingdom.

Kingdom of Altamont was in top in these fifty five third class kingdoms and could also be compared to second class kingdom. Shanna also told him about the academy that it only takes people who were less than twenty years and has good talent, you should at least have two elements to join for being a mage and rank seven knight.

They had the best teachers in the continent to teach there, people from all over the the continent will come to take their test. Royalty will be given exceptions, they just have to just meet the above criteria, but for normal people they have to take their entrance test and only the best people will be chosen.
