Affinity

Shanna was little conserved while talking to Alfin for a while but became normal after some time, then he asked her a question which was bugging him for a while, how do you get to know which element affinity you have. She told him to come with her and took him to a large hall which was now empty and there was a large crystal at the podium.

You just have to put your hand on that crystal that will manifest your affinity, the crystal was called elemental stone which helps you to connect with your element affinity when you put your mana in it. Alfin was excited to know what his element was, he did not waste any time and directly put his hand on it and started inducing his mana in it.

Alfin started getting goosebumps all over his hands and purple lightning started to manifest all around the stone which lasted for a while then suddenly all the surrounding started getting heavier and grey color manifested on the stone. His second affinity was gravity, Shanna was horrified seeing the elements he got affinity with, both the elements were super rare and hard to control as they could even backfire on the user.

Shanna herself had two elements, fire and wind and both were very compatible with each other but she was surprised to the core seeing his elements. Alfin was like a kid right now who has gotten his favorite toy, but was unable to manifest any element after removing his hand from the crystal, he suddenly felt like his favorite toy has been snatched away from him.

"You have to practice a lot before you can control your elements and you could not use your elements openly as they are very rare and could incite jealousy of others." Shanna said and heaved a sigh of relief, they were lucky as there was no one here right now or it would have been very troublesome.

Alfin nodded his head, "Lets go to the market and get you some decent clothes." Said Shanna and started moving towards the exit of the hall and Alfin followed her.

"What's wrong with my clothes, It took a lot of my time to make them and I think they are good enough to be worn anywhere." Alfin retorted.

"What, you made these clothes by yourself, well they are good but you will stand out from the masses here. By the way this material looks so soft and comfortable, where did you get the material from." Shanna touched his coat and was impressed by the softness of the fur.

"Can you make one for me as well if it is not a problem." Shanna asked shyly.

"This is a fur from a tiger monster I killed and actually I have a dress which could be worn by ladies." Alfin replied as he thought of butterfly wings gown which he made not long ago, as the wings were too beautiful he couldn't make a dress for himself so he made for a woman, he thought it would never come to use.

"Really, I would love to see it now. By the way what are monsters that you speak of." Shanna asked curiously.

"Well the monsters are like beast in form but they have very less intelligence and are very strong, bloodthirsty and very violent in nature." Alfin replied and took out a dress from his ring which was white in color and had blue and yellow spots all over making it look very beautiful.

After seeing the dress Shanna forgot about their earlier conversation and snatched the dress out of Alfin's hand and started running towards her room leaving him alone standing in a hallway. Alfin was speechless, what was that for, its only a dress what is there to be excited about. He stood there in the hallway for half an hour.

When Shanna finally came out from her room even Alfin had to accept she was looking gorgeous in the dress he made. "Do you have more of these kinds of dresses, this dress is very comfortable and looks very elegant." Shanna asked looking at him with expectations.

'Do you think I am a fashion designer for woman and have nothing better do.' Alfin thought inwardly and replied, "This was the only dress I had for woman." Which broke her expectations.

Then they started walking outside the palace where a luxurious carriage was standing, they both boarded the carriage which was pulled by four strong stallions and when they reached the gate of the palace ten soldiers on horses came and started following them.

The soldiers were amazed to see someone sitting inside the carriage with princess who never allowed anyone to sit with her in the carriage even if they were noble ladies from powerful households nevertheless a man. But they did not question the princess and silently followed behind them.

It took ten minutes to arrive at the market from the palace which was fully crowded but seeing the carriage everybody made way for them to pass easily. They were going to the most famous clothes shop in the kingdom which made dress only for nobles and royalty.
