Chapter 109.

The morning was bright and promising, although the climate revealed subtle signs that it might rain, but Antonio ignored the warnings altogether.

"Pff! It's late July. Why would it rain at all in July? And in Palermo? Nope! I might be a Dumb-ass but not dumb to not know that it won't rain at all today," he blurted and focused his gaze on the horizon in the far distance ahead.

By this time, Antonio was seated on the short staircase just by the entrance of the building which housed about five to six separate apartments in it. Of all the paid rentals, Guillermo's flat happened to be the cheapest in cost as well as the smallest in terms of room size, and number of rooms.

However, Antonio appreciated the tiny staircase where he could sit on, every once in a while to bask in sheer admiration of the fading evening sky.
