More than Okay

We arrived at the docks and I looked around seeing multiple different ships. Most of them owned by pirates of course. We stood in front of the biggest and oldest one. "Ready?" He asked me.

I blinked and pulled away from him "Wait I can't just leave with you!" I exclaimed.

He sighed "Now is not the time to be stubborn, kitty. We have to leave" He stated.

"Not until you tell me why" I crossed my arms.

He looked around and stepped closer. "There isn't much I can tell you. At least not right now. You just have to trust me, okay?" He whispered.

I thought for a moment. "Where are we going?" I asked.

He smiled slightly "Like I said, you just have to trust me" He said.

I hesitated but nodded. "Fine. But just remember, I have claws and I'm not afraid to use them" I held up my clenched fists.

He chuckled quietly patting my head. "Okay, little cat. Now can we go?" He asked.

I nodded once more and stepped onto the ship looking around. He smiled and walked after me. He set his things down on a barrel as the crew of pirates started to arrive at the ship. The captain sighed in annoyance as he walked past me.

"This'll be interesting" Seth murmured with a smirk and a hand on his hip. I furrowed my brows and stood close to him. I glanced up at him and what looked almost like a smile, had formed on my face.

Somehow, I trusted him. I felt safe with him and free almost. I wasn't sure why or how, but I was okay with him. Maybe even more then okay...
