Reaper's POV

I watched the footage of the man who turned into a titan.

"That's how Mr Eren's titan form looks like?" questioned Doc, "It's my first time even seeing a titan."

I turned off the screen and looked at Doc.

"You don't want to see one in real life." I said

"Right." replied Doc

"Let's train." I said

"Wait already?" questioned Conor

Before I could respond Kraken entered the room.

"Lieutenant Colonel wants to see the two of us." said Kraken

"Meet me in the training, if you're not there you're getting your ass kicked." I said

Doc nodded so I left the room with Kraken.

"What's up with you and Doc? I thought you two were close friends." said Kraken

"It's not that we're not, I'm only being strict because..." I trailed off, remembering Keegan's face, "I don't want to lose someone valuable again."

"Ohhh, that's smart." said Kraken, "I like it."

I nodded in response and we got to Kit's room. Kit looked like he just came back from a mission, he performs these missions all by himself and he hasn't failed a single one.

"Sir." we saluted

"At ease, we have a somewhat big scale assault coming up." said Kit, "I got intel that the BHCP has finally made the satellite shit."

"Finally, what took them so long?" questioned Kraken

"Anyways, they're going to launch it into space in Russia. Good thing is a general in Russia is supporting them." said Kit

"Sir, how's that good?" I asked

"Because Russia now gave America permission to assault on their soil." replied Kit

"Oh." I replied

"Now, these are the two BHCP members who are behind the satellite shit." said Kit

He pressed a button on the wall and two pictures of three people showed on the wall.

"They're all related, Darren Zhang the father of these two, Harper the older brother and Yumi the youngest." said Kit, "Yumi was the one Ashley encountered three years ago."

"Are they all going to be there?" asked Kraken

"No, Darren isn't but the siblings are. Harper's squad will be there but Yumi's squad won't. The Scouts will also partake in this so the Scouts will take care of Yumi's squad while we take care of the rest." said Kit

"How are we going to do this sir?" asked Kraken

"We'll drop a squad of Commandos from the air, they'll take out the missile and the Russian forces from the air. Spartan team and Badger team will take care of the siblings." said Kit

"Understood sir." said Kraken

"You'll be leaving in an hour, so get ready." said Kit

"Are you going to be part of this operation?" I asked

"No, I have other matters to attend to." he replied, "I believe you'll complete this mission without any failure."

"We won't fail you." said Kraken

"Dismissed." said Kit

We both saluted and left the room.

"Go get Doc, I'll get the others." said Kraken

I nodded so I headed over to the training arena where Doc was using the punching bag.

"Doc." I called out

"Oh you're back, I'm ready." he said

"Get ready, it's your first mission." I said

Doc looked surprised but I glared at him.

"Remember your training sessions we had. Do not fuck this up." I said

"Yes ma'am." he quickly replied

"Get your gear, we're leaving." I said

We head over to the armory where I pick up my vector and Doc picks up his M4A1.

"I didn't get any missions briefing, can you-"

I sent him the mission briefing through his visor which were his eye holes so he saw all of it.

"Oh, uhh thanks." he replied

We met up with the rest of the squad and made our way to the boarding dock.

Doc's POV

I didn't think Emma would be this harsh to me. She was always dull but this was like a new version of her. I haven't seen her in two years and I was really looking forward to seeing her but I barely recognize her.

"Hey, Doc."

I turned and looked at Kraken.

"You're worried about Reaper right?" he asked

We were a few feet behind the rest of the team so I nodded.

"Don't worry about her, she's just worried." he replied

"Worried?" I questioned

"Ever since Keegan's death, she's more strict, a lot more disciplined when it comes to people she cares about." said Kraken, "Don't take her scolding personally, she's just trying to make you a better soldier so that you can survive."

I was speechless from Kraken just told me.

"I-I uhh don't know what to uhh say." I replied

"Trust me, she doesn't despise you or anything. I would say... she cares for you." he replied

I nodded as I began to understand what Reaper really wanted.

'So she's just training me so that she doesn't lose me.'

1 day later

Someone's POV

I looked over to Yumi who was talking to her brother. The missile launch countdown was starting and I watched as it prepared to launch.

"Blended has engaged in the pre flame reaction." said the loudspeaker, "Injected hydrogen peroxide into the generator."

I waited a couple seconds for the countdown to finish.

"Takeoff."

The missile launched and flew up into the sky.

"We finally did it." said Yumi

But then I saw three missiles, small missiles fly down towards our missile and it exploded. My eyes widened as there was a bright light and a ball of flame.

"What?" gasped Yumi

I looked up at the sky and I saw tiny dots fall out of the sky through the clouds. Evelyn looked through her binoculars and gasped.

"What are those things?" questioned Evelyn

I looked through my binoculars and saw these machines falling down from the air.

"Let's leave, this mission is compromised." said Harper

But then I saw a grenade fall next to the car.

"Grenade!" I yelled

I jumped back just in time as the grenade exploded the car. I got up and grabbed my gun but then a knife came out of nowhere and hits my gun.

"Drop them!" I heard someone yell

I looked up but no one was there but suddenly soldiers wearing cloaks began to appear out of thin air.

'Who are they?'

Reaper's POV

I aimed my gun at Yumi and everyone here began to throw down their weapons.

"Tower, break their weapons." said Kraken

Tower grunted in response so he picked one of the MP5 and just broke it in half. Everyone else began to arrest the BHCP members and knock them unconscious. But then Kraken put his finger on his earpiece and listened and raised an eyebrow.

"Let's wrap this up!" said Kraken

"Did something happen?" I asked

"Darren Zhang was found dead when the Colonel arrived there. All of his bodyguards and staff were all dead." said Kraken, "Let's hurry up and get out of here."

1 day later

Reaper's POV

I dragged Evelyn through the hallway, Kraken had Harper and Specter had Yumi. But up ahead I saw a few familiar faces, Ashley and her team.

"Oh, it's been long Ms Yumi." greeted Ashley

Yumi stayed silent.

"Did you get her squad?" asked Kraken

"Yes sir, Captain Grice had them in the prison system." replied Ashley

"Kraken." called out Kit

I saw Kit and he was holding a bag.

"Sir." we all saluted

Kit looked at Yumi and Harper.

"Your father is dead." said Kit in japanese

He pulled out a head from the bag and Yumi and Harper's eyes widened.

"Someone killed him when I got there." he explained

He closed the bag and sighed.

"I'll let you all go." said Kit

"Sir?" questioned Kraken

"If you can kill Doc." said Kit

My eyes widened.

"Sir, that's crazy what are you-"

"Pick your top fighter, if you kill my representative I'll let you go." said Kit

Kit leaves and I was dumbfounded and confused.

"Let's take them to the main training dock where the entire Sentinel corp will be watching." said Kraken

"Sir, you're not actually going to go along with this right sir?" I asked

"If he gets badly injured, he'll be Bounty Hunter." said Kraken

"But sir I don't want to be in the Bounty Hunter." said Doc

"That'll help you do better." said Kraken

I sighed and we dragged everyone towards the main training room which is as big as a football stadium. There's also an option where bleachers can be pulled out from the walls so that people can rest or watch.

We entered the training ground and literally everyone in HQ was here sitting on the bleachers in silence. Doc looked really nervous and his hand was shaking a bit.

"Did you pick your fighter?" asked Kraken in japanese

"Evelyn." said Yumi

I unlocked Evelyn's handcuffs and handed her a combat knife. She stepped onto the fighting mat and Doc took a deep breath but I stopped him.

"Do your best." I said

He nodded and took a step on the mat.

Doc's POV

I was fucking nervous, ever Sentinel had their eyes on me and it was making me feel pressured. No one watching was cheering, they all had a serious kind of look on their face. Yumi was on the other side of the mat with a combat knife so I pulled out a combat kukri knife from my shoulder holster and got into my fighting stance.

I ran towards Evelyn as fast as I could but she spun around to the side and duck my swing and felt her knife cut the back of my left knee. I fell to the ground clutched in pain, blood oozing out of the cut through my fingers. Evelyn rushed towards me and she was fucking fast, she kept swinging short precise swings making it hard to dodge it.

She then kicked my left knee and I groaned in pain and backed up but she kept attacking that leg. She began swinging faster but I was able to catch the arm she was holding with her knife and I tried to stab her with my other arm but she grabbed my arm and we began to push each other. She was strong but I fought against worse, my mom for an example, she would broke both of my arms in less then a second.

Evelyn kicked my left leg and I groaned in pain but I continued to stand on both of my legs. She kept kicking it until I gave in and fell on that knee giving her the advantage. The tip of her knife was grazing my neck so as the last effort I leaned back and kicked her over me. She fell on the mat and I got and limped back a bit but Evelyn side kicked my chest and I went flying across the mat and I fell down and rolled out of the mat. I rubbed my chest and walked back onto the mat and looked at my leg.

"Pain is the reason for failure." I remembered what my mom said to me

I sighed and looked at Evelyn.

"If the pain hurts too much, find a way to fight without hurting it more." was what my mom said to me as well.

I put my left leg in front of me and slightly bent it and held my knife in my left hand, my non dominant hand. Evelyn rushed towards me and I saw her getting ready to jump so I got ready. She jumped up into the air and just as she was about to pounce on me I did a jumping spinning hook kick with my right leg, hitting her jaw. She fell out of the air and fell on the mat next to me, I got up as Evelyn rubbed her jaw.

She ran towards me and began to swing her knife at me trying to find an open spot on me but I blocked every swing. I tried swinging my knife but I couldn't reach far enough so while she was attacking, I attached a string on the handle of my knife and backed up. I pretended to go for a stab causing Evelyn to lean back but as I was in the motion of stabbing her, I let go of my knife and it went straight towards her forehead. She saw it coming so she jumped back just in time and looked surprised.

'Yea I'm a professional with the kusarigama.'

I used the kusarigama and began swinging at her, cutting her left leg but as I pulled the string back it cut her right leg as well. She yelped in pain and I swung the string towards her but she put the string around her arm so I took advantage of that so I pulled her in towards me with one pull. She went flying towards me so I punched her face as hard as I could knocking her out.

I fell onto my knees, tired as I clutched my leg in pain but then everyone who was watching got up and clapped a bit, making me feel almost proud. They all gave me thumb ups and left the bleachers. I wrapped my wound as some Sentinels came and dragged Evelyn's body away. I felt someone touch my shoulder and when I looked up it was Reaper. She sighed and just pat my head and Bullseye helped me up.

"Where did you learn to use the kusarigama?" asked Reaper

"Would you believe me if I said your father?" I asked

"No, not really." she replied
