Prophet
Ashley's POV
I sighed and looked at Yumi.
"So you're part of the myth as well." said Yumi in english
"No, I'm not part of them." I replied, "But if you knew about the myth, you shouldn't have done this."
She was sitting on a chair with her wrists and ankles handcuffed.
"This place has the highest security measures. Their handcuffs are the regular ones you always see." I said
Sentinel handcuffs were thick, there was no chain, it was literally just one thick oval shaped metal thing with just two holes. We thought these were the toughest handcuffs created but Keegan's dad was able to break it, everyone on Ghost team 117 was able to, even my mom. Now just for people who are as strong as Keegan's dad have this bigger one which wouldn't just wrap the wrist, it was the entire forearm and hand and it was heavy. Behind Yumi were the others who we arrested, handcuffed to chairs with some wires on the bodies and this metal mouth gag.
"So, the one who killed Michail two years ago." said Yumi
Yumi laughed and it pissed me off.
"He told us about killing one of them but none of us believed it." laughed Yumi
That ticked me off so I was about to punch her but then someone caught my arm. I looked up and my eyes widened when I saw Colonel Ghost, Keegan's dad in military gear.
"That's enough." he said
I hung my head and nodded so he let go of my arm.
"So the myths are true, it's the infamous Ghost." said Yumi
Ghost looked at her and at the other prisoners and told me to leave so I did and he left as well.
"Go home, your mother was attacked." said Keegan's dad
"I know sir she called me." I said, "But I have a question."
He stopped walking and looked at me.
"Is there a possibility that my dad is still alive?" I asked
He stared at me and shook his head.
"Eren's dead." he replied
I sighed in disappointment and nodded.
"Follow me." he said
I follow close behind him and he leads me into this long tall hallway, the walls were covered with tall black marble walls with names on it. In between the black marble walls was a small stream of water falling like a waterfall. I looked through the names and I was confused at first but then I realized what this was.
"This is like a memorial." I commented
I looked at the names and my eyes widened when I saw my dad's name on it. Not just my dad's name, there was Uncle Bertholdt, Uncle Porco, Erwin, Moblit, Petra, Olou, Eld, Gunther, Hange and others.
"Is my dad's name here because he was part of Sentinel?" I asked
Keegan's dad nodded and I continued looking through the names until I found him.
"Keegan." I whispered
Keegan was the last name and I placed my hand on it. Keegan's dad watched me as he too looked at Keegan's name as well.
"Dad?" I heard Emma voice
I turned and saw Emma, well Reaper stand there. Reaper acknowledged so I greeted her back.
"Dad what are you doing here?" asked Reaper
"Follow me, both of you." said Keegan's dad
I looked at Keegan's name on the wall again and left with Reaper.
"Is your dad back in the force?" I asked
"No, he just wears his gear whenever he's here." replied Reaper
"Oh." I simply replied
We entered a briefing where my squad, Captain Udo's squad which consists of the rookies, Lieutenant Colonel Kit and Spartan team 058. Everyone stood up and saluted to Ghost but he just signaled them to lower it.
"Everyone take a seat and listen up." said Kit
I took a seat next to Damion.
"I found this in Darren Zhang's pocket." said Kit
He pulls out a voice recording device from his pocket. He presses a button and it starts playing so he puts it on the table. There were a couple gunshots and screams in the background and after a few seconds, silence. I listened as I heard a man breathing heavily and footsteps getting louder.
"Who are you?" asked a man, I supposed it was Darren
"Who I am does not matter." replied another voice but this voice was deep, almost like how the clown from the movie Saw sounded like, "What does matter is the amount of people who died because of your nuke."
"I only do things for my own profit. I sold the nuke because I believed that it would shake the world and open the eyes of civilians who are just living their lives pretending nothing is happening." said Darren
"We both have something in common." said the voice
"And what's that?" asked Darren
"We both agree that the world just fucking watches people sacrifice their lives for useless people." said the voice, "But launching the satellite, you yourself are killing 700,000 people."
"700,000 sacrifices, they're all useless." said Darren
I heard a gun cock.
"But my way, is more efficient." said the man
"Killing me won't change anything." said Darren
"Well, you're just my own sacrifice." said the man, "You said it yourself, you're useless just like the 700,000 people you claimed were useless."
"Who are you?" asked Darren
"Remember this name in your afterlife." said the man, "You can call me, Prophet."
And there were three gunshots and it was silent again. Kit stops the recording and looks at us.
"We have one lead, his name is the Prophet." said Kit, "A titan shifter who has Eren Jaeger's powers."
He pulled a picture of the Prophet's face, I've seen it before we came here. My mom's fine. I had to call her home once I heard the news.
"Just from this recording we determined that he's hunting down anyone who threatens humanity." said Kit, "From now on, we'll use every person on our kill list to use as bait."
"Wait sir." called out Brooks, "Why was this Prophet trying to kill my mom?"
"We're still looking into that, his intentions were to kill her at first but that didn't look like the case when we saw that he tried to escape." said Kit, "We're not a hundred percent sure but don't worry about Annie, I'm sure she'll be fine."
Kit sighs and turns off the hologram.
"Any questions?" asked Kit
No one responded.
"Dismissed." said Kit
I actually wanted to do something before I left so I approached Kit.
"Sir, permission to borrow the tape." I said
Without question he pulled it out and handed it to me.
"Keep it, we already recorded everything." said Kit
I thanked him and left but then Reaper stopped me.
"What are you going to do with that?" asked Reaper
"I'm going to play it in front of Yumi." I replied
I left with my squad and Reaper decided to follow me. We entered the prison system and opened the door to Yumi and the other's cell.
"Are we getting released?" laughed Yumi
I wanted to hurt her so badly but I held it in.
"This was found in your father's pocket." I said
I pulled out the recording and played it for her. The entire time Yumi and the others listened and had a grim look on their face.
"Do you know who the Prophet might be?" I asked
Yumi thought about it and tilted her head.
"I do. There was a man a year ago who called me and told me that his name was the Prophet." said Yumi
"When was-"
"Ashley stop it, she's lying." said Reaper, "Brain signal waves are moving up and down indicating that she's lying."
I sighed hoping to get a lead to the Prophet, Yumi seemed surprised and she just hung her head.
"How long are we going to stay in here?" asked the man who always smokes in Japanese.
"Lifetime, until you die." replied Reaper in Japanese, "That's our protocol."
Everyone started going crazy and fought against their restraints.
"Let's go." said Reaper
We all left but I took one last look at Yumi's angry face before leaving.
"We're leaving now." said Captain Falco
"Wait sir, is it okay if I just do one thing?" I asked
"What's that?" he asked
"I want to visit Keegan's grave." I said
"I uhh don't know if-"
"I'll take her."
I turned around and saw Keegan's dad.
"Are you sure sir?" asked Falco
He nodded and turned to leave so I quickly followed him.

2 hours later
Ashley's POV
"Hey Keegan, it's been months since I last talked to you." I said
I took a seat in front of his tombstone and tears began to fall out of my eyes.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to cry in front of you." I said, "Gosh I sound like my mom."
I wiped my tears and took a deep breath.
"I hope things are going really well on the other side." I said, "I wish I have more time to talk to you."
I rubbed my hands together and looked at his tombstone.
"To be honest Keegan, I carried some feelings towards you." I confessed
I felt more tears well up in my eyes.
"I wanted to tell you this 2 years ago but I wasn't ready and I wasn't really sure for myself. But here I am, regretting that choice a lot." I whispered, "If only, you were alive there might have been a chance where we live the life we wanted together."
I sighed and looked up.
"I should move on, I know this is probably what you wanted as well." I said, "Damion likes me and he tries to hide but I just can't seem to have the same feelings he has for me."
I looked at my watch and I had a minute left.
"I wish... I wish I could be there with you as well. But for now, I'm going to move on and live my life to the fullest." I said, "I hope you watch over me and take care of me."
I got up and wiped my tears and smiled.
"Until next time Keegan." I said
Ghost's POV
I watched as Ashley got on a Warden with her squad and drove away.
'Did you hear that Keegan?'
I heard everything, even though I stood far away from her I still heard everything she said.
'You had a life ahead of you.'
I leaned against a tree and looked at my shoes. I sighed and walked off towards my car, Dodge demon. I got in and sat in there for literally five minutes, doing nothing so I just pulled out my phone and played the recording. It kept playing but I forgot to turn it off after that it kept playing.
"I know you're listening." came the Prophet's voice through my phone after 10 minutes.
I stared at my phone, my eyes widened a bit.
"Sentinel, I know you're probably looking for me." said the Prophet, "But there's no point, by the time you find me this world will burn."
I looked at my phone and around my car.
"I will burn this world and I'll watch, just like how you watched over 130,000 people die." said the Prophet
That's when I heard a click and there was silence again. I grabbed my phone and sent Logan a private text about it before starting the car and driving off somewhere. After driving for an hour I got to this place and got off. I walked through the trees until I got to this cliff where Emily was waiting for me. She turned around and smiled.
"You came earlier than I thought." she said
"Sorry to keep you waiting for so long." I said
"It's fine, running here was a good exercise." she said
I smiled and looked down the cliff, 60 feet below was a giant lake.
"Remember this place?" asked Emily
"Yea I do. I was too scared to jump off of here during boot camp training. Both you and Tessa had to kick me off." I replied
"Well, it's out of the question to ask if you still can't." said Emily
"Way out." I replied
I jumped off the cliff casually and fell down towards the lake. I splashed into the water feet first and sank to the bottom of the water. Emily also splashed through the water next to me and I looked at her and she looked at me. She hugged me and gently kissed my lips and for a second I thought this was dangerous, but whatever.
