Hostage

Someone's POV

"We are pinned down! Who the fuck are these guys?!" yelled my sergeant

I hid behind a fallen log and reloaded my HK USP 45 pistol then my UMP 45 and fired back at the unknown hostiles.

"Viper, we have to get to the barn!" yelled my sergeant, "We'll give you some covering fire."

I looked over to the barn which was about 80 feet away.

"Got it!" I yelled

"You have to back him up, Viper." he said, "Get ready!"

I got ready to run as the others got ready to cover me.

"Go go!" yelled my sergeant

Everyone on my team fired back killing multiple hostels but more began to replace them. I ran as fast as I could to the barn, using the trees as my source of cover. I got inside the barn and saw a hole in the middle so I quickly jumped inside and caught myself before falling to my death. I safely landed and began to move.

I quickly entered a hole in the wall and aimed my gun making sure no one was around. I checked my surroundings and saw dead bodies on the floor. I was about to turn the corner but a hostile man walked in front of me and tried to stab me but I shot his head killing him before he could strike.

More began to come out of their hiding spots so I quickly shot 5 guys in the head in less than 2 seconds but when I turned around a hostile kicked my gun out of my hands. He tried to punch me but I dodged to his side, punched his face, with the hand I punched him with, grabbed his arm and spun around elbowing the back of his head.

I held onto his arm and threw his arm down forcing him to do a backflip, landing on his back. I broke his arm but he doesn't even cry out in pain. My eyes widened but someone kicked me away but as I was falling I threw three knives hitting the hostile's chest and he too didn't even flinch.

"What the fuck?" I questioned

He rushed towards me and tried to push kick me but ducked to the side, grabbed his leg and elbowed it, breaking it in half. The hostile just looks at me with an emotionless face catching me off guard. He tried to punch me but I dodged it and grabbed his neck and threw him into a wall.

"You're pretty good." said a deep voice

I quickly turned and came face to face with the Prophet.

"I'm pretty sure I'm better than you." I replied

"You're pretty cocky." replied the Prophet

"Yea cause I know you, Keegan Kan the son of Colonel Ghost. Yet your stats are pretty wack." I said as I got into my fighting stance, "Makes me wonder if you're actually his son."

The Prophet scoffed and lunged towards me. He began to throw punches at me but I was able to easily block them and I kicked him away. I ran to him and kneed his chest while punching his face at the same time. I punched and kneed his chest a couple more times before kicking his head.

"As expected." I smirked

The Prophet scoffs and shakes his head. He gets up and removes his gas mask and my eyes slightly widen.

'He's kind of hot.'

I snapped out of my thoughts when the Prophet began to throw punches at me but as usual I dodged them pretty easily but as I ducked to my left, the Prophet kicked my face with the bottom of his boot. I stumbled back in shock but the Prophet rushed towards me so I did a jumping spinning hook kick to keep him away but Prophet ducked under my kick and did a roundhouse kick hitting me in the chest. I flew away and hit the wall, knocking the air out of my lungs. I did a kick up and the Prophet kicked me but I blocked it with my leg and side kicked him with the same leg. Suddenly the wall next to us explodes. I gasped as I saw Colonel Ghost and a man both on the ground.

"Colonel!" I gasped

He quickly gets up and he fights Eren and I was amazed by their skills. I never saw Colonel Ghost fight first hand and I was amazed by his speed, agility and skills in hand to hand combat. But I felt something sting in my neck and I began to feel drowsy.

"You should pay more attention." said the Prophet

I pulled something out of my neck and I saw that it was a needle.

"You... what did you do..." I groaned

"Don't worry you won't die." said the Prophet

I began to fall but the Prophet caught me.

"Nighty night." said the Prophet

Ghost's POV

Eren back kicked me and I blocked it but his kick was strong enough to make me stumble backwards.

"Don't make me kill her dad." said Keegan

I saw him hold onto a female Sentinel forcing me to stop fighting.

"Why the hell do you need her?" I asked

"Let's just say... hostage advantage." replied Keegan

Eren nodded to Keegan and he pressed something on his wrist watch. Explosions began to boom throughout the cave, rocks began to fall apart and fall on us

"Until next time." said Eren

"Eren! Keegan!" I yelled

But they ignored me and walked away. I sighed and ran out of the cave, dodging the rocks falling on top of me. I couldn't find the exit but when another explosion goes off it creates an opening. I shot my grappling up and zipped out of the cave just in time before the entire structure collapsed.

I landed and I heard a helicopter and when I looked up I saw two black hawks flying away, inside Eren and Keegan who was holding onto the female Sentinel. Keegan smirked and waved but before I could pull out a tracking device gun, the other chopper shot missiles towards me. I quickly turned and ran to hide behind a rock just before the impact.

"Colonel!" yelled a voice

I turned and saw a squad of Sentinels running up to me.

"Sir Sergeant Komodo reporting." saluted the squad leader, "Have you seen corporal Viper? She went down there to assist you."

"She was taken." I replied

Sergeant Komodo shook his head in defeat and rubbed his face.

"Goddammit. I shouldn't have sent her." said Sergeant Komodo

"Get the forensic and engineering team here. Dig this up and figure out why they came here." I said

"Where you going to go sir?" asked Sergeant Komodo

I ignored him and walked off.

7 hours later

Phantom's POV

"Mom are you sure you should walk?" asked Rina

"I'm fine, thanks for taking care of me." I replied

I put on my gear and wrapped my vest around me.

"Where's your father?" I asked

"I don't know, he hasn't responded to anything." replied Rina

But that's when Ghost came into my room.

"Dad." gasped Rina

"Ajax..." I whispered

"Are you ready?" asked Ghost, "I think I know Eren's plans."

"Eren's alive?" I asked

Ghost nodded.

"He was alive this entire time." replied Ghost

My eyes widened in surprise.

"The one we killed four years ago was a clone. Same goes for Keegan, we buried his clone." said Ghost

"Eren was the one who saved Keegan?" I asked

Ghost nodded and I was confused.

"Why would he do that?" I questioned

"To use him as his second in command." replied Ghost

"But dad what's his plan?" asked Rina

"Since he went for the nuclear silos I'm supposing he's still after that." said Ghost

"But I thought every US nuclear silos are secured." said Rina

"Unless he's no longer after US nuclear silos." I realized, "He must be after other nuclear silos in different countries."

Rina's eyes widened.

"Which country is he going to go after?" asked Rina

"Definitely not Eldia." replied Ghost, "Russia doesn't have any nuclear silos left."

"So where?" I questioned

Ghost shook his head.

"I don't know." replied Ghost, "But for now, let's go."

"Sir!"

Kit came inside and he seemed to be in distress.

"Sir we got the results back and according to what they found they got what they wanted." said Kit, "It's the final formula to make a nuclear bomb. They never wanted to replace nukes, they're making one."

Viper's POV

"Where am I?" I asked

"Somewhere." replied Keegan

There were two soldiers holding my arms, my wrists handcuffed. I looked at the two soldiers and they seemed to have no emotions in their faces, their eyes blank.

"What's up with these two?" I asked

"What do you mean?" asked Keegan as he took off his gas mask.

"They're not responding." I said

"Clones." replied Keegan

"That's..." I trailed off, not knowing the correct word to describe it, "Nothing. Never mind."

Keegan kept walking through the dark hallway.

"So you still haven't explained why you're doing this." I said

That's when he opened a door which led us to a huge open area with a giant beehive looking machine in the middle. It was mostly empty but then I saw a man sitting on a monitor looking at a screen.

"Sir." greeted Keegan

The man stood up and turned around and my eyes widened.

"E-Eren Jaeger?" I gasped

"Is it almost ready sir?" asked Keegan

"The doctors are nearly there." said Eren

"Finished what? What are you two going to do?" I asked

"Put her in the containment area." said Keegan

The two soldiers began to take me away and back into the same dark hallway. I sighed and took a deep breath and loosened up my muscles. I quickly head butted one of the soldiers then kicked the other soldier's knee then kneed his chin.

Both of them fell on the floor unconscious. I quickly searched through their bodies trying to find the keys to these handcuffs but they didn't have it. So I took a deep breath and with all of my strength, I broke the handcuffs. I quickly grabbed my weapons off of them and started to run through the hallways. I avoided the cameras and patrols and tried to find my way out of this damn place.

'I need to alert the others that Keegan's here.'

I began to make my way to the control room.

"Where do you think you're going?"

I gasped as I turned around and saw Keegan.

"I'm getting out of here. What you're doing is crazy." I replied

"Go ahead." said Keegan, "It'll take you years to get out of here."

"What do you mean?" I asked

"We control this building. You'll be stuck in here." said Keegan, "We can move walls, change up the structure. Like a moving maze."

My eyes widened.

"I would recommend you cooperate with us." said Keegan

I was handcuffed again but this time someone hit the back of my head knocking me out.

9 hours later

Annie's POV

"Are you sure about this Annie? Mikasa?" asked Armin

I cocked my pistol and put it into my holster.

"I'm sure about this Armin." I sighed

"But you two haven't been on the field in a pretty long time." said Armin

"We'll be fine Armin." said Mikasa

Jean, Connie, Sasha and Pieck came in with their gear on.

"We're leaving in 5." said Jean

"You know that commanders shouldn't be out there on the field." said Marco

"I know Marco but I still have a duty to protect this country." replied Jean, "Plus I only have the title commander. In reality Captain Levi's probably going to make the calls."

Captain Levi came in and he also had his ODM gear on.

"Armin, can I talk to you privately?" I asked

Armin nodded so the two of us moved to somewhere private.

"Armin, I think we should stop whatever we were doing." I said

"I understand. I was going to say the same thing." said Armin

"I think I just forced myself to transfer my feelings for Eren to you." I said, "I'm sorry I should have stopped you from the beginning."

"No Annie, it's not your fault. I didn't realize that Bertholdt's memories were affecting my feelings for you." said Armin

I nodded and rubbed my eyes.

"That's all." I said

"Okay, good luck." said Armin

Ghost's POV

Phantom crushed a soldier's windpipe and dropped his body.

"These fuck heads are everywhere." groaned Phantom

"Yet we don't know their motives." I sighed

"Are we going to go after those who escaped?" asked Phantom

I nodded and saw a motorcycle.

"I'll get the car." said Phantom

I nodded and I got on the motorcycle and began to hot wire it. I started the engine and sped off towards a cargo truck which a couple soldiers we were hunting took. I drove towards it and got right next to it. I jumped up onto my motorcycle and with one leap, got on top of the cargo.

Once I landed, the hostiles inside the cargo box began shooting at me. I began doing flips dodging the bullets until I got to the truck. I did a flip, jumping off the truck and in mid air I shot the driver and the passenger killing them both.

I caught myself and the hood of the truck and pulled the driver out of the seat. I stopped the truck and Phantom got out of the car and shot the cargo truck. She opened the doors and inside were two dead hostiles with a couple of big wooden boxes.

"Boxes...?" questioned Phantom

I entered the cargo box and examined the box. I used my visor to scan it and I was slightly confused.

"Why's there metal parts?" questioned Phantom

I broke open the box and my eyes slightly widened.

"Shit... Kit's right." said Phantom

I looked at the metal missile part in the box.

"There has to be other trucks like that." said Phantom

"Right..." I sighed

I looked at the dead hostiles.

"Strange... I expected the hostiles to be mutants." I said

"Me too..." whispered Phantom

"Let's call it in for now." I said

Phantom quickly radioed Kit, telling him about the cargo trucks carrying some material.

"They're tracking them down." said Phantom

I nodded.

"Let's go." I said

"Where?" asked Phantom

Reaper's POV

"Keep your distance." said Kraken

"Where the fuck is this truck going?" questioned Specter

"Patience..." whispered Bullseye

"You know patience cause you went to sniper school." said Specter

"No I didn't..." whispered Bullseye

"He doesn't need to go to school for that. He has his own father." I said

"Right." replied Specter, "So how are you so patient?"

"My dad would always go hunting with me and we would wait for hours. I trained to stay awake for hours at night at 3 am." replied Bullseye, "Specter, weren't you trained by Lieutenant Colonel?"

"I was but I was usually trained by my mom. I did do the same thing you did but I think you're better than me when it comes to anything." said Specter

"Sentinel isn't about who's the best. It's about how well we function as a whole." I said

I looked over to Doc and he seemed out of it.

"Doc, is something wrong?" I asked

"Huh?" gasped Doc almost like I awoke him from sleeping, "What happened?"

"You good?" asked Specter

"Y-yea I'm fine I was just thinking about something." said Doc

"Thinking about what?" I asked

He stayed silent before sighing.

"I don't know if your dad ever told you... but he told me something a long time ago. I didn't really take it into consideration back then. I just thought it was pretty cool and funny." said Doc

"What was it?" I asked

"My dad told me that Keegan wasn't his actual first name." said Doc

I stayed silent, confused.

"What... Do you mean? Keegan is his birth name..." I said

Doc shook his head.

"His birth name... it was my father's name. Malvik, Malvik Kan." said Doc
