"I'll go back to the cave, I guess," Howard said after having a long conversation with Diana about the war and General Ludendorff's plan hinting to her about a higher entity that might be the one pulling the strings. Saying what he had to say, Howard left towards the cave.
Diana looked at Howard's back as she wasn't sure about the man. It seemed he was telling the truth but she felt there was something more to it or maybe she was just being too curious about a man. But who could blame her, after all, Howard was the first man she saw. Then came the part of the war. She was sure of herself that this war must have something to do with Ares, the god of war. After all, such destruction was only capable by the hands of such a god.
"Charming fellow, isn't he?" Antiope came behind Diana stopping her thoughts, "So what do you think?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you believe him?" Antiope asked, "I have lived for many years, I have fought different wars Diana but it's my first time meeting someone who made me this surprised in a while. Normally I would give up my life than surrender but due to him, I was able to have many of us retreat to safety. So I asked my sister to not treat him too harshly but I can't help but sense an ulterior motive behind his words, then again, there's also the fact that I can see that he doesn't mean any harm either."
"I see." Diana shook her head, "What do you think I should do? Mother wouldn't let me, but this war I am sure this is Ares and if it really is him. He's our responsibility isn't he?"
Antiope smiled though she didn't like manipulations and schemes she was more than happy to let Diana go to do the work she was destined to do, "I can't say much about this Diana but the question is, what do you want to do?

"It's easier to aim with this but it's kind of heavy isn't it?" Steve asked as he played around with his gun.
"I had my people design it this way." Howard said snatching his gun back, "I am stronger than a normal human, so I can handle the harsher recoil with ease."
"I could see that when you were shooting off their heads." Steve said remembering the brain matter flying around as he shivered a little, "So did you convince her to let us go?"
"It's not in her hand." Howard said, "She's just a princess stuck in a castle, do you think she has the power to let us go?"
"Then how do we get out?"
"My plane's a wreck, we can't use the U-boat either may be a sailing boat but clearly none of us know which direction we will be heading to either," Howard said, "But I think we might get some help."
"What do you mean?"
"With the princess, of course." Howard said, "I have talked with her and she seemed eager to get out of here to fight some god of war. So it's a win-win situation. She gets to go out and fight and we get to leave and head out to dear old London. So basically, we escape with the help of the princess."
"God of war? Seriously?" Steve asked getting a slight shiver.
"Don't tell me you're scared?"
"Of course, I am." Steve said, "I have seen enough today to make me believe in all supernatural, so a God doesn't seem too far off, does it? Anyway so did you guys make a deal or something?"
"Not really, but I've given her enough hints. So if she wants to get out we're the people she will come to." Howard laid back, "So now we play the waiting game. It's better if she thinks it's her idea to go out rather than it being mine,"
"Are you serious?"
"Young people," Howard rolled his eyes as he chuckled to himself. Though he was nearly 90, he wasn't much mature as people would think him to be. He was obviously mature in the sense of experience, knowledge, and calmness ordinary people lacked but other than that he was still kind of a kid. Some anger issues, doing immature things was something that made him who he was.
"So are we going to just sit here?" Steve sat down as well, giving up.
"Yeah, pretty much." Howard laid back, "Also as a spy, you should know the situation you're in, right? If you didn't understand before, I'll make it clear again, make sure nothing leaks about my powers especially with the government."
"Or else?"
"Or else, well normally I'll just kill you but considering the special situation. I'll first torture you, then kill every single person you've ever said 'hi' to, and then continue torturing every single one of your future offsprings for the crime you did. And believe me, I'll live long enough to do it. And with it also comes the fact, that likely no one is going to believe you."
"No need to go all evil villain on me. I was just joking." Steve gulped
"Me too," Howard said not paying Steve any more attention, and soon after he fell asleep.
"Wake up," Howard opened his eyes to see Steve and Diana looking at him.
"What is it?"
"We're leaving," Diana said as Howard noticed her new outfit.
"Cool dress but I prefer the one from the older comics."
"Stop blabbering nonsense and wake up." Diana shook him up as Howard forced her hands away.
"Jeez, I am awake," Howard said getting a bit annoyed as he saw another woman behind them, a beautiful red-head who was also looking at him from head to toe. "And who this might be?"
"She is Artemis, one of the soldiers guarding the western section of the Themyscira, she is under my aunt Antiope the one you saved before."
"I see." Howard said, "Can you stop staring though?"
"Are you sure he is the same guy that saved the General? He doesn't look like much." Artemis who gave him the vibe of a battle junkie was surely provoking him at the moment. Maybe she wanted a fight, who knew but looking at her she didn't seem to like either him or Steve.
"Oh, I am nothing special." Howard smiled, "I am sure if this lady was in the battle earlier I wouldn't even have to do anything."
"Well at least, you've got a slippery tongue." Artemis snorted, "I hope you fight just as well as you talk."
"Stop flirting, we need to leave," Steve said rolling his eyes.
"Where to?" Howard asked naively making even Steve surprised.
'I guess you don't make billions being an honest man.'

A/N:-
Artemis is an Amazon of Bana-Mighdall, a community separated from the Amazons lead by Antiope. But in the movie Antiope dies and it's all different from the comics.
So I've introduced Artemis as a regular Amazon from Themyscira since she might not appear in the movies. And I figured with Antiope still around she wouldn't really send Diana out alone looking through movie logic.
