The Lioness

As primitive as it sounds, the school does employ a hunting system. This was the third option for students to obtain food and was also the least costly method; however; ironically you still had to pay the price because the forests are where Obscene beasts reside. After the evo-catalyst reformed the earth, humans underwent minor evolutionary changes that not only improved their physical bodies, but also caused them to develop certain abilities.

Humans weren't the only ones to experience this however. Animals were also affected by the evo-catalyst and even the tiniest of animals became stronger.

While the mental state of animals remained unchanged, their natural instincts, behaviors, and physical traits were considerably enhanced making lions even more ferocious, gorillas even stronger, rabbits even faster, birds' vision even sharper, and turtles' shells even tougher. For this reason, everyone that missed breakfast would be in for a world of suffering, as even the fruits on the trees were unreachable without having to deal with some animal.

With this in mind, Chatty and Mo He made a sprint for the food stalls.

- Outside of the high school district's auditorium -

"We finally made It Brainy, this is it."

Currently, there were two youths staring at the huge high school auditorium building in anticipation. Those youths were none other than Mo He and Wen Yi who would be attending their high school entrance ceremony today.

Brainy: "yep, let's head in."

Inside the huge behemoth of an auditorium, there were around 10,000 students seated, chatting merrily while waiting for someone to arrive.

All kinds of people could be seen here, and many people were talking as if they had already known each other. However, It had only been 5 minutes before all the chattering came to a stop, as the person they were waiting for stepped into the room.

"No way! Isn't that-?!"

"Wow, there's no way! Why is she here?!"

Many people exclaimed at the arrival of this person. Shock, reverence, and a hint of fanaticism could be seen on the eyes of most of the students present. However, nobody was more shocked than Mo He and Wen Yi. This was because the person standing at the podium was someone they were already familiar with; and that person was Li Lin, the person they hadn't seen in 10 years.

"Can I have everyone's attention please."

In fact there was no reason for this person to say this as all the attention was already on her.

Li Lin: "Firstly, I would just like to express how much of an honor it is to be on this podium, having the opportunity to influence the next generation of gifted individuals..."

As she spoke, almost everyone in the room paid their undivided attention to her, as if they stopped paying attention to her for even a second, she would escape their grasps. This was not without reason though, as Li Lin had built up quite the reputation during her time at the school. Over the last 10 years, Li Lin has been called many things, but the most prominent name would be the moniker that everyone knows her by: The Lioness! Despite the supposed indication that Li Lin has an animal type eccentricity, this was far from the reason she received this title; her powers aren't animal related at all. The real reason behind the title is the ferocity she displays to her opponents. Her unwillingness to back down from a challenge, coupled with the fact that she never holds back, has earned her quite a bit of fame and an extensive fan base.

Li Lin: "Now before I conclude my speech, I would like to give recognition to the person who has helped me the most throughout my high school years and has helped me improve myself, not just in education, but also in character. I present to you, Dr. Grinin Fyodor(A/N: pronounced, greh-neen thee-uh-door).

Applause rang through the auditorium for a time before gradually dying down as the doctor began to speak.

Dr. Fyodor: "Thank you Lin, for that wonderful speech. As you have heard, I am Dr. Grinin Fyodor. I am a man of many things, but the thing I enjoy the most is leading the next generation of eccentrics into a future where both humans and eccentrics can peacefully coexist. That is the very reason the person who founded Eccentric Academy did as such; he believed that if raised correctly, people who have the ability to wouldn't lash out, gradually changing everyone's thinking to one where eccentrics aren't all that different from everyone else.

He wanted a world where there was no discrimination towards not just eccentrics, but anyone. I, personally, think that the goal will be difficult to reach, but if we didn't try anything, nobody would ever achieve anything and would still be in the dark ages. That's why I look forward to you future students trying your best at everything you do, because YOU are the future. Thank you for your time."

Once again applause rang through the auditorium, this time however, it was noticeably louder and more passionate. Unknowingly, the doctor's speech made everyone's blood boil, and a spark or passion burn in their eyes.

Li Lin: "Before we leave, I'd just like to give some general information about the school program and the campus' facilities. We know you are eager to start your school year so I won't be long..."
