Time flew by and just like that we entered Junior high. During our time in elementary, I managed to learn and fluently speak most of the languages in the eastern alliance. As for school, that was a breeze for someone who's already been through school once. On top of having the Sponge ability, school couldn't be easier. Thanks to that, I had tons of free time to learn all kinds of interesting topics and before I knew it, I had become a bookworm. Although, that didn't mean I slacked on physical training. I upped my workout to 100 push ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and 200 laps around the playground which is equal to 10 kilometers. Again, the workout is simple with just 5 exercises, but I'm still a child who hasn't even hit puberty yet, so I have to compromise.
Aside from my achievements, Chatty managed to become the most loved and the most popular kid in class thanks to his extroverted personality, he indeed deserved the name chatty. I also discovered that chatty was a natural born fighter as he had defended classmates from bullies on numerous occasions; this was another reason why he was so loved. Despite the contrast in social lives, me and Chatty still remained very close friends, brothers even. He would occasionally show interest in my research and we would study together, although he would get bored easily. He was very good at anything physical and frequently excelled in recess and phys-ed. His grades were very good as well and he was pretty good in every subject even though he didn't really like studying. Overall you could call him a genius. If he wasn't an orphan, he would've been pretty successful in life, Unfortunately, nature had a way of maintaining balance.
On a sadder note, we haven't seen Sis Lin at all in the last 7 years. Now that I think about it, the chances of us meeting were close to zero considering the size of the island and the distance between each level of school. On top of that, there are 100,000 students in total spanning from pre-school to college. So meeting Sis Lin before high school had been too optimistic. It's been 7 years since we last saw her so she is 16 now, and I have no doubt that she has become an exceptional young lady. Me and chatty are both 11 so we have a little while longer before we reach high school. By the time we reach high school, however, Sis Lin would have already transferred to the college district. Although, when we do get to high school, we'll have more resources and in turn have an increased chance of reuniting. We just have to wait.

It's been 3 years since we graduated from elementary and just a couple months ago we also graduated from middle school. During the last 3 years I mastered almost every language known to man, even dead languages like Latin. Thanks to my power, which has grown stronger, I now have a photographic memory and I've managed to accumulate so much knowledge that I've basically become a living encyclopedia. I don't even dare claim to know everything, but I know quite a lot now based on human standards. I've also changed my workout to 150 pushups, setups, and squats and 37.5 laps around the track field, which is around 15 kilometers.
When we started middle school, Chatty began to join me on my morning routines, it took about a year for him to match my pace, but now we do workouts together. Chatty is still the most popular kid in class and has had almost every girl in our class confess to him; he rejected all of them with his reasoning being that Sis Lin was the only one for him. After that I began to notice that chatty was actually quite good looking. He had spikey golden blonde hair with well tanned skin and a well chiseled face as well as a toned body from all the workouts. Coupled with his personality, it was hard not to like him. I just wished he would learn to shut up sometimes. However, despite my criticism, Chatty has actually matured a lot since we met, he's no longer that loud, unruly little kid I used to know. Before I knew it, he had turned into someone to depend on for numerous occasions.
The date is currently the twenty-second of August in the year of 2085. Me and Chatty are 14 now and are going to start high school in about 2 weeks. Currently, me and Chatty are taking a break after our daily workout.
Chatty: "This is becoming really easy, isn't it about time we up the intensity?"
Brainy: "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe add 50 of each exercise, and up the laps around the track to 50."
Chatty: "I was thinking that maybe we should try out the high school track."
Brainy: "Are you crazy?! From what I've heard, high school laps are the equivalent to hell. I don't think we're quite ready for that yet."
Chatty: "Are you sure? How much harder could they possibly be."
Brainy: "You shouldn't underestimate high school standards. Since they can begin integrating Eccentric abilities into their routine, Our bodies alone shouldn't be capable of sustaining themselves in any of the high school facilities."
Chatty: "That's too bad, well let's stick to increasing the quantity then."
Brainy: "Anyway, we should get going. We wouldn't want to miss breakfast now would we."
When Mo He mentioned breakfast, Chatty involuntarily shivered. He still remembered their first week of middle school when they had arrived for breakfast late. All of the food was gone and the kitchen staff told everyone that missed breakfast to fend for themselves. Fortunately there were other sources of food on the island. They could go to the shop district but since they were only middle schoolers the allowance they were given was barely enough to sustain them as is. To make matters worse, the food in the shop district was unnecessarily expensive. On top of the fact that you had to travel several kilometers to reach it and they didn't have time for that, they had no choice but to refer to the third option.
