Chapter 4

The rest of the week was calm but busy. There was a lot of work to do as CEO, but I still was young and had the energy for it. I had not heard back from the copper mine, but it was only a matter of time.

Time to meet the family.

Saturday, I woke up nervous, afraid they wouldn’t like me but was determined. We drove to the family farm in the morning. I was dressed in a maroon golf shirt and jeans. The girls looked beautiful as always. When we got to the house we walked in and were greeted by their mother.

“Good morning ma’am” I said.

“Oh, such manners, please don’t call me that call me Mary” she said.

“I will try but I just have to say the girls definitely get their beauty from you Mary.”

“Stop it, I might just have to steal you from them.” She said blushing.
