You know him!?!

The cool air-conditioned breeze bounced on Percy's nose as he entered the coffee shop. Eyes glancing looking for Obsidian black hair but none came to the view, with a light frown he went and ordered two donuts and sat down still looking around for the lean pale boy. Percy was exited sure but now his heart picked up pace.

Why Nico didn't show up till now?

Was the call a prank?

Why is he not here yet?

Why is his donuts not warm?

Uh he just sat.

His foot tapping and his lip between his teeth. Nerves were getting anxious.

The time passed, more customers came, some left. Some people giving him looks of sympathy.

He looked down, disappointment was only thing on his mind but did he actually expect him to show up?

Why would he want to meet someone like Percy anyways.

His legs were wobbly when he got up blood rushing to the barn veins.

Stepping outside he saw a little drizzle of rain. Percy sighed.

He was about to walk home and maybe cry to sleep but his eyes caught some black feathery hair. He tilted his head in the corner of the shop where it was dark, a small figure was standing. He went closer and the small frame stepped out of the shadows,

Nico.

"I- why didn't you came?"

He bluttered out.

"Family issues" Nico came little closer and looked up straight in those emerald eyes. "I have to talk to you but can't right now. So will you be my roommate?" He said with a slight tint of rose on his pale cheeks.

"W-"

"Just yes or no Percy I don't have time." Percy was a little shocked at the smaller's behaviour. But he gave in at the thought of family issues.

"Yes."

A thin line of happiness or satisfaction appeared on Nico's lips. He whispered thank you and ran towards his home.

Leaving a shocked Percy behind.

--------

Nico walked slowly towards the back of his house, a mild tension tapping in his mind.

Did I hurt Percy by not showing up?

He closed his eyes and remembered what had happened when he came home.

He closed the door behind him.

His mother grabbed his arm and held him tightly.

"Mother! " He yelled in an alarming tone.

"Why! Why did you follow that man! "

She knew him?

"You know him"

Ignoring the elephant in the room she pushed him on the door.

"Never! I say never you are going after that beast! "

"Wh-!?! "

"Promise me young man!"

"I-i promise"

He said hesitantly.

With that his mother left him in a hasse.

And that was the moment he realised he has to talk to the emerald eyes boy about what the hell was going on no matter what.
