"Everything, or is it?"

His words reverberated in my mind but my heart still found it very difficult to agree.

Gabe, that simple name meant a lot of things to me and in such a short span of time I had gone through a lot of things with him.

“I know it’s a lot to take in but it’s better you know now than later”.

I looked up at Alec with a skeptical look.

“how can I trust you”

He blinked but his features were still calm.

“I saved you” he stated

“and I am very grateful” I said turning away from him

“but how am I not sure that you are lying to me”

“because I don’t lie” he replied automatically his face stern.

Silence enveloped us as we stared at each other me trying to figure him out while he returned it with a serious look. His words were direct and nothing short of convincing but could I believe him, only one way to find out.

“tell me everything” I breathed

His response was immediate

“follow me”.
