I went to school, but I did not just know and could not explain why until now, the school could not rebrand my thought lines, as I have seen the level of rebranding school has done to too many people. I do not just think like what they want me to think as taught me in school and could not explain why, even when I tried to, I end up losing my peace. I have discovered there is an inspiration welling up inside of me and through the vibration of that impulse, I have built my life from childhood ever desiring to stay to doing good, though I have faced challenges, but the hope that wells up inside of me, helps me to keep encouraging myself.

I started artistic painting when I was very young, at about 4 or 5 years, and at this stage in my life, I could paint vehemently anything provided I could think it. My uncle thought, fine art would have been better for me, but it did not turn out that way, because somehow I have been prepared to be a teacher. What I know now was never what I studied at the University. My knowledge exudes what I have learnt at the University. I have never had a mentor even when I desire to have one; they would never want to have me. I felt much rejected because even when I strive to submit to people I feel could mentor me, however, they are never accepting me, but giving excuses. I have never sat to follow the principles of mentorship; do not get me wrong to think of me as being proud. It has nothing to do with me, even when I would persistently want to submit those I think could mentor me, they will never avail themselves. I have come to the point in life when I have to ask the question, “Why is my case different?” I have felt like an alien in this world, but there is something deep within that keeps driving me through all odds. I have a desire to have a mentor, but it is not just working, however, they end up not being comfortable with me. Nevertheless, I do not have an insight into what I carry. Remaining around people who do not value your presence hurts badly. However, closer to my inner self, which groans in deep pains and cries to connect God. Most of those I draw near to, thinking they could be my mentors, end up sapping and suppressing my gifts. I have had several encounters in Lagos and Abuja with people I hold in very high esteem. What people had done to me, despite the hurts, I have never had any negative feelings against them, because I know I am on course.
