Got Em'

Carter, Logan, and Mike dragged the rail track far off into the bushes. Along with Jaivva, they had set up an observation post in the grasslands. Given the flat and near clean terrain, it was the best they could do. They laid low and kept an eye on the road.

The train stopped, but there was no urgency to fix the track nor to call for help. Only a few guards were posted. Mike noted that if it all went well, they likely had the manpower to take the train after the ambush.It was something Carter considered, but had rather focused on getting things going than to stop and stock up.

A short while after daybreak, Alfred Jodl drove with a light set of infantrymen of the far road. They barely had any supplies with them, leading the team to agree that Carter was right about the general's tactic.
