Chapter 31: Epilogue

A few weeks later…

The wild and relentless protests of the people led to the immediate action that was taken afterwards against The Council by the A.P.S.O: a secondary committee of six honest and unbiased adjudicators, whose function was to execute, impose and render penalty and punishment upon anti-law abiders and perpetrators.

Adryn’s gathered information against his fellow council men proved that he worked against them to bring their abominable deeds to light. He was sentenced to a decade of imprisonment, instead of being pardoned by the wish of the people. Unlike him, the others were sentenced to death, including the Chancellor. Nothing could save them from the clutches of death, because every information held against them was valid.
