Chapter 30: The Unspoken Truth II

Silence.

Livingstone turned his head backwards and fixed his eyes on the dartboard which now housed a bullet at its center. He shifted his eyes from the dartboard to the alarmed look in the eyes of his friends before training them on the Chancellor.

Click, click, click

The sound from the gun indicated that it was out of bullets. The Chancellor cussed under his breath, glared at the object in his hand and discarded it on the floor. He raised his hand to wipe the blood which tugged at the corners of his lips, but stopped midway when his eyes landed on another individual.
