Piss Off!

He felt like an asshole when he asked about her to his friends who studied with him since kindergarten, and they said that she always tried her best to help him, even when she couldn't do much. They said that she was always there, close but not literally by their side. Always defending him from the ones who badmouthed him behind his back and even more.

But they also said that after he started dating Kimsoo, she vanished. She was in the school, but was like a ghost, and every time they saw her, she was cold and only paid attention to her books and to studies, that was also the motive why she came in first place in their graduation. They told him she was the smartest person in the class, but a total introvert, who avoided crowded places like a cat running from water.

And the last time they saw her, was when she separated him from Jaewoo when he started a fight with him when they were already drunk at their last ball. Saying that she was the only one who, even after everything, stand up to him and tried to help him.

Which explained how he ended up at her house and he remembers enough of that night to know that he was the one who started kissing her.

After that, she literally vanished from South Korea.

Seojin felt like a goddamn bastard for not noticing her before, and for sleeping with her. Although he didn't necessarily regret that part. However, he felt intrigued because Aeri's parents didn't tell him where she was living now, neither what she was doing nor if she was living alone or with someone else. But he still became closer to them, enough for him to start caring for the couple as if they were his second parents.

And then the accident happened. Not only they were severely injured but their son, Mori, was too and in a very critical condition. He was also the one who got the news first because he was visiting the hospital to see his cousin, Sunghae, aka best friend, when they brought them.

His cousin was the doctor designated to take care of Mori, who was in a life-or-death condition. While their friend, Young Jihye, was the one responsible for taking care of Mr. Choi Hyeonjung and Mrs. Choi Yunhee!

After his cousin contacted Choi Jiah, their eldest daughter and Mori's twin, they began Mori's surgery which was urgent, and after some hours, it was time for Hyeonjung and Yunhee's surgery. Which, thankfully, didn't take that long and were also successful.

Once he was taking care of Hyeonjung in his room, who was worst than his wife but better than his son, praying for them to be okay, Jihye came in to give him his medicine and the serum he was taking. Then he got out to drink some water and eat something. When he came back, he found his parents shocked and dumbfounded as if they had seen a ghost, staring at Mori's door.

"What happened? Is his worst than before?" He asked worriedly.

"Did you sleep with Choi Ae-ri, son?" Park Dong-Yun, his dad, asked, still staring at the door.

"What?" He coughed. "What kind of question is that? Why are you staring at that door like that? Mori's still alive right?"

Park Chaewon, his mother, finally looked at him, and he was stunned by how dumbfounded she looked. "Yes, he's still alive and recovering. Now, son, could answer the question? Did you sleep with her? You guys studied together since kindergarten, so, did it happen? Before she went to the US?"

"Why?"

His dad turned his gaze to him and asked again. "Did. You. Slept. With. Her?"

Seojin swallowed hard, confused, anxious, and fucking worried. "Maybe," he muttered.

"Yes. Or. No. Park Seojin?"

[Jesus Christ- Just stop asking me this shit.] "I did, okay? I did. Now, why the fuss?"

"When?"

[What the hell? I already swallowed my pride and answer that question. Fuck- Couldn't you stop there?] "About eight years ago. On the night of our last high school ball. Two days before graduation. Now, please explain the reason for you to be asking me this, please."

He sighed with his eyes closed, already tired, then he saw the strange look in his parents' eyes and a realization came to his mind. Her parents and brother suffered a very bad accident, she would, one hundred percent, come back. He froze.

"Is she here? In Seoul? In the hospital?"

They nodded like two robots and pointed to door 302, Hyeonjung's room. He only had time to open the door, enter, and catch her right the moment she fainted. He was dumbfounded and worried, and so was Jihye, who was still there looking startled at the girl in his arms, who was pale as fuck.

···

When Jiah finally reached the corridor where her parents and brother were, she became wary at the moment she saw the Park couple, who were her parents' friends, in the waiting seats in front of the door. She was sure as hell that if they saw Tae-tae they would found out that he was Seojin's son with Aeri, on the spot.

And she knew they had seen her nephew when she saw the astonished look in their eyes, staring directly at the door where her father was. Thinking about Tae-tae, she entered the room faster, worried that something might have happened with her nephew, and not seeing her sis around. She was the one responsible for the kid, so she stormed into her dad's room just to find Aeri, who had fainted, in Seojin's arms and a beautiful but shocked doctor staring at them.

"Park Seojin?" She exclaimed before she could even think about what to say and then she stared at the doctor. "Why is this asshole here?" Her gaze turned to him. "Piss off!"

"What? Are you the Choi Ji-ah?"

"I am!"

"You see, Mr. Park is here since they entered the hospital. I don't know if you know about this, but he's very close to your parents. So, without you or your sister here, he was taking care of them." That was enough to leave Jiah shocked and pissed.
