"I really can't believe what you've just said! Is that true? You were from another world? How cool!" Danny said as he lowered his voice after finding out that he is about to burst.
"For you it may be, but for us, it's kind of a hell." Mina answered while still looking at her mother.
"Well, you did say that you've fled your land to escape the war happening there, right?"
"Yes, and no one from there must know that we are here, because if they do, your world might be at risk." She said and Danny nodded as an answer.
"I still don't know what to say and react though. I mean, there aren't anyone like you guys here, but we know what you guys are like." Danny said making the young woman look at him with knitted brows. "Did I not tell you we have movies of people with powers and magics? We call it science fictions or fantasies, because no one can explain how they have that sort of things. Dark auras and the likes by the way." He explained making Mina nod.
"How come you people don't have any magic like us? I mean don't you have anything too common for a cavalry, like... Multi-slash?" Mina asked but got a waiving head as a no.
"We are just mere people living in this huge world. No magics, no powers no anything but life and enjoyment."
"How nice of your world. I just hope that our world will be like this."
"Ok wait a minute... How come that we want to live in your kind of world and you want to live in ours? You know what I mean?"
"Maybe it's because we want to experience new things and learn new things." As Mina answered the question, Danny's mother came rushing in, holding a bag of fruits, looking worried. They both stand up to greet her, but the old woman went straight to Mina's mother.
They both didn't react weirdly to this, knowing the old ones, they created a strong bond together, making them friends that soon blossomed into sisterhood.
"How is she?" The old woman asked.
"She is already fine mother, no need to worry." Danny answered and put a smile, making the former exhale some air and sat at one of the chairs.
"I am so sorry for what happened back there, Mina. The truth is, I didn't expect something like that would happen."
"Nobody expected that it would happen anyway, so please don't be sorry." Mina answered and put a sad smile on her face.
After talking to each other about what happened, the doctor came in and told them that the patient is already ok and that when she wakes up, she can go home after paying the bills.
They did what they were told and went home. When they arrived, they all ate together and went to bed. It's just 8:00 o'clock in the evening, but they felt like it was already 10:00, so they didn't hesitate to follow there body's will and just went to sleep.
As morning came~
They all woke up at the same time because of their alarm clocks. And even if they still want to get more sleeps, they remembered that they need to do somethings related to what happened yesterday, so they all went to their bathrooms at the same time and went outside their rooms.
"Good morning!" They greeted each other with a sleepy smile and went down stairs together.
Upon reaching the Dining Area, they saw foods already dined in and all their maids are there too.
"Wait, what's the occasion today? I can't seem to remember anything special." Danny asked and all the maids smiled happily at them.
"This is the day Ms. Mina and her mother started living here sir. So we all came up with an idea to ready everything for you." A maid answered, making them shocked.
"Did we do something wrong, sir, ma'am? Sorry if we acted on our own, without consulting you... We just-"
"Enough with the reasons, nothing is definitely wrong here, you did your best and that's what matters. Now, how about if you call the guards out there to share this bounty with us?" Danny's mother interrupted, then after that, one of the maids did what she said.
After a minute or two, they all ate their breakfast together while having a little chit-chat. They also talked about their past, but Mina and her mother changed some of their stories. Danny and her mother also supported their stories to hide the truth, they both know it to be honest, but because they promised not to tell, they changed some of it, making it connected to their world.
"I still can't believe that you are part of an army Ms. Mina, I mean, you're a girl, so... How?" One of the guards asked, making them look at him.
"Oh, in our place, gender is not necessary... As long as you want to fight and protect your country, that's all that matters." Mina's mother answered the question.
"Wow! So that means, you are part of the cavalry too madame?" Another one questioned.
"No, I was never the type of person to have such guts... But my husband once was, making my daughter inherit his will." She answered making the questioner nod.
"May I ask a question? Ughmm... Where is your husband now?" A maid ask.
"He? Is not alive anymore... He fought valiantly for our land. And he was also known for his bravery, making him one of the best fighters in our land. The queen even built a statue in remembrance of him." Mina answered making the maid look down in shame.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." She said and swallowed a bit.
"It's alright. Everyone kept on asking us that kind of question, making us used to it. Because, since babyhood, I experience living without a father. He passed away since I was six, so I really can't remember his face, even if I see the statue." She explained.
"But that didn't made us weak. It made us stronger everyday, to make us live. He is also the reason why we fight." Mina's mother said making everyone smile.
"I really do hope I have that kind of will."
"Yeah, it makes me feel strong even if my knees are already weak." Tge maids answered.
"You don't have to wish for it. You just have to do it. Follow your heart and think thoroughly, make the best decisions in life. That is how you can win everyday." Mina answered and smiled.
Then they changed their topics until they all finished eating and went back to their places.
