At Northern Dawn~
Daisy and her friends were playing when they got tired and decided to rest under a huge tree. The tree where Granger and Daisy met in the first place. But soon after, they were surprised to see an old man going there way. He plead them to bring him some water, for he cannot handle the heat of sunlight anymore. He also said that he didn't eat anything for two days. Making everyone worried.
"Ok, here's the plan. Jaimey and I will go home and get some food for all of us to eat, the rest of you, bring water." Mailey ordered and they all walked away, leaving Granger, Daisy and the old man.
"You two must be really that close to be left behind huh?" The old man mentioned.
"To be honest grandpa... We've just met the other day, so we don't really know each other that much, aside from being playmates." Daisy answered with a smile.
"Do you really just want to play after all the bad things that may happen here and to you?" The old man asked making them both confused. They questioned him about what he meant, and he just looked at the sky. "What will you do if someone tries to attack your land?" He asked again and this time, he looked at Daisy and smirked. Daisy on the other hand, felt weird and looked away, and when she went back to looking at the old man, she thought she was hallucinating, because the old man's face is just the same as earlier, he is also talking to Granger with it's weak and shaky voice.
"Easy! Aside from calling the palace to help us... We all know that we can win everything by helping each other out. That's what everyone do here anyways." After hearing Daisy's answers, he just nodded and stand up. Both children asked him if something was wrong, but he just waived his head as a no and bid his goodbyes.
He walked and walked until he felt that no one is by his side. He then changed himself. Then went to a grassy place, where all his allies are waiting.
"Forgive me for being late my king, but everything is now ready." He said and the king just smirked evilly at this. He also looked at his son who is now smiling back at him.
"You really don't know how to disappoint me Arhin." The king said. "Tell Xel that you two will be the ones leading the first line cavalry." The king said and he bowed as respect then went away. "Start the game." The king said and they all marched forward, with the leading of Xel and Arhin.
Meanwhile~
(Back at the playground)
"Where is the old man?" Asked one of their boy friends as he looked for the old one.
"He didn't said anything, but judging from how he walked, I think he had enough rest already and wanted to leave immediately." Daisy answered, making them all nod in disbelief. "But the weird part of waiting, was when he asked us a question that makes no sense at all." She said, making everyone curious. She told them about it, and they all have the same expression seen all over in their faces. Confusion.
"I think we need to go home now, We've had enough playing today don't we? So let's all rest and have a great day again tomorrow." Mailey said and they all agreed. They all scattered to go home, but Granger excused Daisy for a reason, making them be leaved behind.
"What's so important to make it private?" She asked.
"I don't know if i'm just imagining things or not, but I kinda felt that something was off with that old man." Granger said, making Daisy surprised, and even if she is suspicious herself, she just silently listened. "Earlier, when we were with him... I kinda had this uneasy feeling that kept on bothering me, and when I looked at him, I was a bit shocked to see his face while looking at you. A smirk was expressed on it like he was into you or something." After hearing his explanation, Daisy heaved a sigh.
"A bit weird don't you think? I also noticed it myself, but I was more curious about his questions about an attack." She also said.
"I am too, I mean... Who would even do such a thing? Knowing everyone, they can't just let it be. And even if so, the palace is not that far away." Granger also mentioned.
"Something has been really weird recently, and I am really confused about the situation right now." Daisy said and sighed while holding his head in disbelief.
"I am also confused about what's happening here. But let's not get into it ourselves. We might get crazy about it."
"Yeah, I agree." Daisy and Granger both laughed at this. Thinking this as a joke.
"But please, don't tell it to anyone who're older. We and our circle of friends are the only ones who must know." She continued, making Granger knit his brows.
"Do you have a valid reason for saying so?"
"I just don't want them to be worried for nothing... I mean, what if we were just imagining things?" She asked and they both nodded in agreement.
They bid their farewells and planned to play again tomorrow. After that, they all went home. Daisy arrived just in time to take a shower from playing too much. Mila, preparing the table as usual. Mailey and Jaimey fixing themselves up while Jille is reading on the newspapers.
"Ok! Time to eat, come on down now you three." Mila called and they all followed. They went to their respective chairs and sat there properly. They prayed before eating, but before they could eat the last food in their spoons.
(Ding dong!)
They all heard the doorbell rang, so they looked at each other in confusion.
"Who would even come this late to us? I wonder what could be wrong?" Mila asked and Jille just shrugged his shoulders.
"I'll go check on it." Daisy said and stand up, and even though Mila said she'll be going, Daisy insisted, giving Mila no other choice but to let her be.
She hurriedly went to the door to see who rang, but when she opened it. A loud bang was heard, making everyone jolt and stand up to their feet.
