Chapter 58: Terrorism Solved

I hate this. I hate all of this. I hate this kind of world. Traitors are everywhere. Whoever spied on us must be well trained for us not to know. We just have been caught and now were surrounded. Right in the cottages that we are staying.

"We really don't know what you are talking about. Please, if you've misunderstood something, then please, let us explain." The princess was the one doing the talks. That's her responsibility anyway.

"You can't fool us! We know you came from the empire to save these people, but jokes on you, we now know who you are and before you could even do your heroic acts, we'll be hanging your heads at every door in each house." Said a man who is the same as my age? I don't know, he looks like a kid as me.

"Attack!" He shouted making everyone in his back attack like he commanded. That was then the time when we saw one-fourth of the village burning, and we heard shouts of fear.

We also put on our guard and waited for them to come closer. And when they were close enough, we all show our gears.

"Be careful everyone!" We heard the princess said while we kept on killing the enemy.

I was totally lost for a moment. I was so focused on killing the enemies in front of me, not knowing that someone is sneaking behind me.

"Watch out!" I heard Jade shout and used his power to manipulate whoever is behind me. That person flew away and was knocked unconscious. I nodded to say thanks to him and he nodded back.

I continued doing my errand and killed every enemy in sight. Using the gun that Oracle Ban gave me. This gun has unlimited bullets. The only way to get rid of this is by killing the bearer of this thing, which is me now. But that will never happen, because I promised someone that I will do anything to live and see her again.

"You've got some nerves there! Killing my men in front of me?!" I heard the man who spoke earlier, and to my surprise, he levitated and shown a very dark aura around him. His hands shown dark magic and was ready to throw it anywhere he wants. "Now... Let's see what you guys are capable of." He said and pointed the dark orb towards us. His eyes then glowed powerful black as he continued to levitate, and when his eyes gone back to normal, he smiled evilly. "So~ you guys are the legendary elites of Dawn Empire, how sweet that you even came with the princess? My work here will be doubled then, or triple? HAHAHA! I will kill you all!" He said and raised his hand, just to make a bigger dark circle in the sky. Maybe enough to annihilate this whole village.

"Everyone! Protect the people. Royal Elites! Let's do everything to stop him!" The princess commanded, so I called all of the emperial guards with me. "Granger! You stay here with us. Leader Zandre, please assist our guards." She commanded making us put our fist on our chest and bowed to pay respect and follow instructions.

"HA! You underestimate me?! All of you shall die by my hands!" Our main enemy said and he let go of the orb he made. It was so huge that it was slowly moving towards ground.

I felt something strange at this point. I felt fear within me, but half of me felt like everything will be ok. I took a deep breath and looked at the dark orb that is about a few meters away from us.

"We would never surrender!" The princess shouted and pointed her spear at the dark magic. The tip of the spear glowed and the spiral shape around it started to turn and a glowing white light emitted from it towards the center part of the black aura, making it more slow than earlier.

"HAHAHA! You may try to destroy it all you want, anyway you want, but it would never stop until I say so." He bragged, so I tried shooting it with a special bullet.

"Sound of Death." I said and as I shoot the bullet, a scary sound was heard all over the place. It was like, the feeling of something scary or fear, it even gave me goosebumps.

But even if it created a large noise of a bomb, it didn't work. It just made the aura more slower.

"HAHAHA! The more you put pressure to it, the more power it gets, so be my guest. Just give more power to my magic so that you may help me destroy this noisy village!" His cackle sounded like a thunder roaring in the middle of the day, and I could feal dread around my comrades. He even casted his magic on me, making me have a bruise on my left shoulder. It also made me let go of the gun. Jade approached me to see what happened, and he tried to heal me.

I also saw how the princess kneeled down while panting. Sky approached her and asked if she was ok, and the princess nodded while coughing blood.

How courageous of her to say such thing, even though she couldn't even breath normally.

"Say bye-bye to your place, and of course, to everyone around you!" He said and casted his hand, about to end all of this, when...

"Not so fast, young man." I heard a voice of a woman and then a thunder crackling towards him, making him electrified and fall down the ground.

"Everyone! Use your magic and get rid of this madness!" I heard another voice of a man and I saw him using his magic. A blue colored icicle, must be ice. It was so powerful that it almost stopped the whole orb from moving.

But just like what the princess did earlier, it was no use. The orb just grew bigger.

"It will not work!" I heard Marc shout. "The more you use anything against that thing, the more you give it power!" He explained, so all of them stopped what they were doing, making the orb move again.

"We have to think of something! We can't just let that thing destroy everything!" One of them spoke. It was a girl dressed in pure white clothes.

"But we can't even use anything against it. How can we get rid of it?!" One of them is almost screaming in fear.

"We can't do anything, but let her try!" I heard a voice from afar. A voice from a man. "Hey! Time for you to do your tricks!" He said and all of the sudden, the ground shook making everyone out of balance.

"Aaargh!!!!" We heard a loud cry and the clouds began to turn black. It was like, a strong storm is about to come right at this place. "You fools! Get out of here!" That voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't tell where I heard that tone.

After what she said, rain started to pour from the sky. But the interesting part, was that every enemy who get's wet, dies. Some of them even tried to hide under a tree, but everytime they were seen by that person, she just raise her hand and point it at them, then they die.

That aura of her's is much more darker than the man who made the orb.

"You dare hurt my friend?!" She said and looked at the orb. She casted a white colored mini orb? Is she serious?! She threw it towards the bigger one and everything went silent. After that, in just a split second, it was like a silent nuclear just exploded in front of us, and a white colored light illuminated everywhere, making us cover our eyes.

After that, nothing was ever noisy. Everything was quiet, and the black magic was gone. Gone are all, even those enemies of ours. And what made us curious, was how fast those guys have left the place. I mean, the one who helped us. They just went out of sight after the war.

"Where could they have gone? Who are they?" Was the only thing Zandre could say after helping all the people get to safety.

And although it seemed impossible...

Why would I think of Daisy? Right now?
