Piecing It Together

It was Julia.

Confused, Alexis walked out and went to stand beside them. "Julia, we agreed we wouldn't bring him into this." "It doesn't really matter right? He became a part of this when he got arrested." "But that wasn't part of our plans."

"Wait, wait, wait. Am I the only one who is confused here? What are you guys talking about?" Dina avoided his gaze while Julie smiled and looked him in the eye. "I'm going to ask you a question. There's a girl whose mom died and, running out of the room in tears, she bumped into some people. Those people wanted compensation but the girl declined, so they got mad and insulted all women, including her deceased mom."

Julie's smile got smaller and smaller the more she spoke. "Now the girl is super pissed and she calls her friends to help her do something about those people. The friend suggests getting rid of all of them, because the world didn't need people like them. So on an arranged night, she killed all the people who insulted her and her mom. Was she wrong? Was she wrong for getting rid of people we don't need?!"

Alexis was so startled he didn't know how to answer that. "Julie, calm down," now it was Dina's turn to speak. "Alexis, I had no choice. You can make fun of me, but not my mom. That was the last straw and I couldn't take it." "Wait, so you- you killed them?!" Alexis started to back up. "They angered you, and you killed them?!" Dina and Julia both nodded with all seriousness.

"YOU COULD HAVE INSULTED THEM BACK! YOU COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING ELSE! But you killed them. I cannot believe this." You could tell Alexis was full of fear. He started backing up until he took off and ran. But they couldn't let that happen. Julia nodded at Dina and Dina jumped him, rendering him immobile. "Let me go!! You need to pay for your sins. Turn yourselves in!" "Oh? So you were going to tell the police. No can do." Julia got close to Alexis. "Haven't you heard the saying, 'a villain is just a victim whose story hasn't been told'? Not everyone is the hero in their story, Alex. If you still insist on going to the police, you will die."

. . .

From then on, Alexis kept quiet about the whole thing. Julia kept up with her studies and graduated from law school. She even started working and solving cases similar to her own. Julia also graduated and works in the business part of the world. If you're wondering who decided to write this whole story and not be scared to be found out, it's me. I'm Julia.
