Chapter 6 - An observer from the side

The entire pursuit drew a lot of attention and a lot of people gathered near the epicentre of the battle.

'Is that killing intent I am feeling?!?' Instantly my entire body shivered. A thought appeared in my mind 'Control your fear!'. I stopped shivering and slowly took a deep breath preparing myself mentally for the new situation.

"Didn't expect you could still stand. Hm, maybe this will be more fun than I expected!" Jimmy put on his worst smile trying to frighten me even more.

Jimmy looked like he was pulsating with power and a red, vibrating aura seemed to come into existence around him. 'What is that? I have never seen this before.' 'Don't be irritated, just concentrate on the fight!' Something from inside was telling me to fight him with all I have got! I stood steady and said: "Come, I am ready!"

"I hope you won't let me regret this!" Jimmy was bursting with energy and his muscles bulged up as he suddenly drew all his energy into his legs. - BOOM- Jimmy stomped on the ground and flashed forward, reaching insane speed and reaching me in almost an instant. "H..he surely is enraged! What a monster!" One of the bystanders said while he was shaking in fear, not being able to move at all as if he was fighting that thing.

Seeing his right fist coming closer and closer I had only one thought - Counter! - I barely dodged to the left and threw my right fist right into his face. Jimmy immediately realized what i was doing and protected his face with his left arm. - Craaack - "Damn it!" I heard the sound of something breaking and identified it as the sound of bones cracking partially. Jimmy and I took a few steps back and held his left arm. "HOW?! MY ARM!" Since he used almost all of his energy and concentration on his legs and the right arm, so that he couldn't fully protect his left arm from my fist and it got sprained. I looked at my right fist and saw my own blood on it. 'My body couldn't take that much power on and my right knuckles should be sprained. At least the pain is sufficient enough....'

Jimmy was even more enraged than before and rushed towards me. He was even faster than before leaving me without any time to react. The only option I had was to take his punch head on and trying to minimize its effect on my body. I twisted myself and he hit me at my right shoulder. 'Sh*t' I ignored the pain and while using my bodies movement, I threw my left fist into his face. This time I was faster than he could defend himself.

His eyes popped almost out because of the pain and the impact.

But all energy left my body and only the pain remained. Leaving myself defenseless Jimmy stayed steady and hit me over and over again. It was like torture and the pain was so strong till the point I got numb to it and it felt like I would get unconsious any second and I might even die.

'Why... Why am I so weak? Why does this always happen to me?' 'What is it that you want?' 'Huh?!' Suddenly I heard someones voice and a shadow before my eyes.

Jimmy suddenly stopped his punches seeing an outsider stepping into the fight and protecting me. "What do you want? If you don't wanna die, you should step away!" He got confused after seeing someone like him stepping in and protecting me.

After I collected myself even though I was at the edge of passing out, I got good a look of his appearance - a tall standing man, unshaken and not afraid of the inhuman power from the opponent before him. He looked like a saint with an holy aura to me.

"Are you sure about that?"

That earthshattering voice was the last thing I heard before I blackened out.
