[1] Kane

That night was a tragedy, there were only the people involved who could remember what happened that night, but they didn't know that the little boy with red hair and emerald eyes knew it too. The boy was special but they didn't see it since he was quite and always withdrawn into him self, they also didn't know that he had Hyperthymesia (Remembers every little detail in their life) paired with a high IQ.

From the moment he turned one he had this which caused him to have self awareness it was truly not known how it happen, though no one realized this. Though he also wasn't like his brother he learned everything a lot quicker like walking for one since he did it at six months instead of like his brother who didn't until fourteen.

That night though he say his mother die in front of him and from then on the memories haunted him like nothing else, when the giant and others came for them that was the last time he saw his brother. Although sad he knew he needed to keep it together or he would miss something, while his brother was taken somewhere he was also dropped off somewhere.

The place was called an orphanage, or at least that is what he kept hearing from the old lady who carried him to the door steps, "Kane, I am sorry that I can't take care of you myself but they would just take you away from me again. I also won't send you with your brother I know they are family but I don't trust those people, stay safe little one. I will see you again when the time comes."

She kissed his cheek and he felt war from it, it wasn't that he didn't get love from his parents but even when they were alive most of the attention went to his brother Harry instead. After kissing him she set him down on the ground of the steps before moving away, even on the cold night he wasn't effected by the wind thanks to her.

She stood just behind a tree in the orphanage yard and didn't leave until a matron walked out and picked him up, he knew she was there the entire time and promised to pay her back one day. (In a good way) Knowing he was safe Kane fell asleep waiting for the next day to come since there was nothing else he could do at the moment.

Four Years Later^^^

*Cough* Did I say morning I meant four years, anyway everything here was no good not at all, after he grew up some this place turned into hell rather than a peaceful place to grow up. The saving grace was when this year after he turned five and he did something to make all the other kids stay away from him for good.

Kane was looking down at the man who laid in front of him, the guy was covered in blood and twitching slightly just beyond the man was a woman who looked at Kane wide eyed. She was scared but strangely not of Kane but of the man, she was afraid he would get up and start beating her again trying to r*pe her, she saw Kane as her personal Angel.

"T-t-thank y-you." the woman stuttered looking at Kane, he called her a woman but she was actually no older than about twenty it was just that she was older than him so....

"No trouble." Kane said wiping the blood from his hands, yeah he used his bear fist rather than magic though he had actually felt his magic core a year ago it was the size of a cherry.

Seeing a kid who was five wiping away blood from themselves and not showing any fear the woman didn't know what to do but she still spoke out, "Where are your parents won't they be looking for you?" she asked.

"Nope, they died when I was little." he said it matter of fact like, he remembered them plenty but the entire time the memories were of them in hiding while they gloated over Harry so he wasn't to close to them.

"Oh I am sorry." the woman fixed her clothes then moved over to him before taking his hand, the two left the man behind and walked out the Alley together. When they came to the opening police were already there someone had called them hearing the screams of the man earlier.

Seeing the two walk out together and seeing the ripped clothes along with the blood on Kane they took them to the station immediately, and ambulance was called for the guy. The questions at the station were standard before they were both offered rides home, nothing was done to Kane because he was a minor and orphan the also told him good job for what he did.

(Not Bellatrix) Bella refused to leave him until they got him back to his place, seeing the run down orphanage she wanted to take him out of there but she just started her years at university. Sighing she looked at Kane, "I will come visit you sometime this week alright. Also is there anything you like to eat?"

Kane looked at her with a raised brow, "Spicy Ramen."

"Alright I will bring you one the next time I come to see you, here is a little pocket money to get you by until then." she hugged him one last time before a police officer walked him to the front door.

The office talked to the person running the orphanage and word spread of what he did the kids no longer bullied him but since that day they had one question on their mind. 'Was he holding back on us?'

Now Kane was sitting under a tree eating spicy ramen while trying to ignore the two people staring at him, one was Bella who was watching him eat with a huge grin on her face. While the other was the same woman who dropped him off the night of his mothers death, she was standing in the tree line across the street, she was using magic to conceal herself.

She just didn't know that he had been pushing what little magic he had to his eyes draining his core to the max, but this in turned made him get something akin to magical sight. Now he saw things that others didn't though it was taxing since his core was so little this was his main focus of magic that he wanted to develop for himself.

"How is it?! I made it myself is it good?" Bella asked sitting next to him this was a new ramen she made it was spicy pineapple, he hated to admit it but it was in fact very good. He grunted a little which made her squeal in delight, "I knew you would like this one I took the hottest peppers I could find and crushed them with dried pineapple before cooking it with beef and the broth making it sweet and spicy."

Although she was a business major she has been finding more and more unique ways to make different types of spicy ramen, it was getting a little out there but Kane wasn't complaining. This past year they have grown closer and closer, though you couldn't tell from him seeing as he didn't speak much but when he did it was meaningful to her.

"Ahh that's right! Summer break is coming and this is the last one you will have before Primary school so we have to go out and do something fun." she said with excitement, he should have started last year but the orphanage held off since they weren't really that organized.

Kane drained the last of the broth in the bowl and let out a satisfied sigh before looking at her, "What do you have in mind?" he asked.

"Well I am running out of ideas for ramen, well that isn't true I want to actually make one even spicier so I was wondering if you wanted to join me on a trip to find spices." Her eyes held a lot of excitement, Kane took a look at her wrist which was shown when he long sleeve rode up.

His eyes went dull for a moment before he let out a small smile, "Sure why not it beats sitting around her." She squealed and hugged him before going off to tell the orphanage director, Kane's smile slipped when she left. She has been living a difficult life since that day, she attempted suicide a day after leaving him, he only found out since they informed him.

After that he went to the hospital and sat with her the only family that visited her was her sister other than that her parents didn't come, when she woke up and saw him she tried to hide. Though she was better now he knows that she is still depressed by the way she carries herself, and he was more than sure she didn't want to go home.

From her background he knew she was insanely rich or at least her family was which is why she proposed this trip, she was scared of going home and being alone again. Kane said yes because it would help her but it would also get him away from here, she has grown on him since that day anyway so why not.

The Next Day.....

It was officially the start of summer and Bella was holding Kane's hand in the busy airport as they were getting ready to go to Albania, she heard from someone they were making a spicy pepper there. Kane was happy because although he didn't know much he was getting out of the country for the first time in his life, even for something so small.

Though the place wasn't what he was expecting to be his first trip out of the world he was happy to be going somewhere that wasn't some boring trip that the orphanage made. The flight was five hours along with a check in at the airport before they were finally let go, Kane looked around and saw that it wasn't really what he expected.

Shrugging at least it was somewhere new.....
