Chapter 67 I am "Evil"

Four months passed, during this time I passed it by searching all kind of informations.

Divine Dante is the name of the world I was thrown into, their technology was the same of the medieval age even so their knowledge of magic and systems surpasses by far all the worlds I have been.

By no means this place is engulfed by chaos and disorder, peace and total devotion to "God" instead reigned this place.

It has no name or face just the existence of this "God", just like a certain religion of Earth but different from Earth since this place has the existence of angels, apostles, saints and miracles or what is commonly known as magic.

Here only a dungeon exist and is not even called like that but "Stairs to Paradise", those who climb to the hundredth floor they will then reach paradise and be blessed by "God" that is what Tania said to me.

Most importantly, "Evil" is banned.

Despite good and evil are purely subjective the people of this world decided that "Evil" shouldn't exist hence they persecute and eliminate they think as "Evil".

Do not kill, do not steal, do not violate any law, do not curse, do not desecrate "God", do not have any impure thoughts, do not have sex before marriage.These are some example that the citizens of this world have to not absolutely do unless you are a knignt or part of the church which only few can enter on it.

The seven I mentioned before...six are things I did before being thrown here and then I did all seven by cursing at their so called "God" hence in the eyes of the citizens of this world I am "Evil".

And I can't deny that fact, I did in fact caused the death of trillions of human lives, for all sentient beings I am "Evil" and since this world follows the law of eliminating all evil, I am currently a wanted person and blacklisted to any city.

The moment I walked near an orb that was carried by a priest the orb became pitch black, I became the most wanted person in this world and the fact that I carried a cursed sword in my back worsened my situation not that could change anything by not having it.

Since obtaining information with normal means became basically impossible for me, I asked to Tania to gather information in my stead which is why despite being always pursued I was able to obtain some basic information about this world.

But despite this, swarms of knights are always able to locate me no matter if I hid underground or in a remote village.

I did say that I shouldn't use my demonic powers and all,right? But I wouldn't be able to survive if I did not use that power.

I am to reliant to that? Shut up, I'm trying to survive here. I know I brought this to myself but can you say that you, with the standards of this world, are not considered "Evil"?

Who did not ever steal something from someone?Even if you did it as a prank it is still considered as stealing something.

Who has never violated a law? Laws are so many that people would unknowingly break one or two in a day.

Who has never cursed in their life? Can someone even able to live without even swearing?

Let's not talk about not having impure thoughts and not having sex before marriage. If these are considered "Evil" then shouldn't everyone be "Evil"?

But no, I understimated this world and its inhabitants.

Ninety-nine percent of the people here have been following these 'laws' for centuries that they do not even know what swearing is or what bad thoughts are.

Basically they deleted the very concept of Evil, since they do not know what Evil is then they are not doing nothing but Good.

Since that is how this world works those who do "Evil" did so either accidentally or they could do nothing but do "Evil" in order to live.

That kind of thought is wrong but because this is how this world works, in this world there is absolute peace and order.

You could say that this world archieved something that many worlds desired to archieve, this world archived a sort of "World Peace".

No major conflict amongst people.No poverty. No discrimination.

Other than the one percent of this world, people have equal rights, same salary, same opportunities same God to worship and same status.

It is a world where most would desire to live on, but I do not.

For someone like me who 'saw' how many worlds and universes to see and explore, this place is nothing but just a cage to rot.

But do I care about this world?

No, obviously no. My purpose right now is to find the girls, I already have the method to travel between the worlds of this universe but to find them it will take too much time and too much luck that I rather choose find another alternative and that is finding useful and unique items or skills.

If I'm lucky enough I might obtain something that can help me shorten the time to search the girls and if in the end I end up obtaining nothing useful then I would then go to visit each planet of this universe to find them.

But for the time being let's proceed to the only dungeon of this world, the "Stairs to Paradise".

"There she is!The Heretic is right here!"

It seems they found me.*sigh* Isn't this the fifth time this day?

"For our brothers and sisters that she kill-argh!"

Without giving too much care, I swung Beatrice and incapacitated the knight by citting off his two legs.

"Well then, oh unfortunate knight whether you die for blood loss or live the rest of your life as a cripple, tell my regards to your so called God."

As the knight continued to cry I dashed towards his comprades and did the same to them leaving five weeping men in the ground.

*Shiiiiiing* Beatrice responded by releasing light one time which means a positive answer.

"But wouldn't you want to eat something else? You know, tears are a bit salty aren't they?.

*Shiiiiiing**Shiiiiiing* By releasing light two times means a negative answer.

"Ah? You don't want to?Tch, Bea you don't know what you are losing...well you can't even eat unless you gain a human form..."

*Shiiiiiing!* *Shiiiiiing!* *Shiiiiiing!*

"Yeah but I cannot understand you."

*Shiiiiiing....*

"There there, I'll promise to feed you the tears of a saintess."

"Quite the simple one aren't you?"

As the woman and sword comunicated with each other they continued to walk towards the "Stairs to Paradise" which could be seen from where Deva is.

A massive structure that seemed to pierce the sky from how tall it is, is where Deva and the cursed sword are heading to.

Meanwhile in a place where few have visited and is a place that is considered sacred, there are three figures talking with each other.

One is someone that Deva have already met, Hunter.

Then the other two who had their face covered by a white mask known as 'Apostles'.

"Disturbance? Why would a dog of the Overseers care about the matters of this world?"

"I am here precisely because they ordered me to, now talk or else I'll blow up this entire place."

"You!-"

"Stop," said the apostle to the other," there is currently one Miss.Hunter" he said as he changed his attention to Hunter.

Then he opened a sort of scroll which it displayed the image of Deva holding her cursed sword as she decapitated a knight.

"This..." Hunter opened wide her eyes as she recognized Deva and the sword she disposed off by giving to her.
