Chapter 174 Isn't this way better?

Regarding the beings Deva created they lived in prosper and in pursuit of their own dreams and ambitions either in the underground base, inside the Tower of Trial, exploring other dungeons or hidden amongst the inhabitants of Intris.

Each of them, however, had to complete their daily, weekly or monthly duties with the daily duties being the easier and menial ones but required most of their time in the specific assignment, the weekly duties being more difficult that required instead knowledge and experience in an advanced field but provided more time and freedom compared to the daily duties, lastly the monthly duties required a high-level proficiency in their own field.

Unknown to most, Deva just founded a society capable of overthrowing entirely Intris if they desired to do so. Such group of people under Deva could surpass any inhabitant of Intris just with their knowledge thanks to Core who can process informations and just create books containing within them the most useful and important data to learn a specific field ranging from agricolture to politics, swordmanship to necromancy or from engineering to tailoring.

Most of the people under Deva were also driven to collect the so-called D-points that can be earned by either finishing their duties or accomplishing something beneficial to the society, these points then can be used to ask Core to create or ask whatever they wanted.

"I am so envious!"

"Why's that?"

"I really want to go to a dungeon..."

"But your skills are..."

"Yeah...I know... they are for only agricolture...even if I can make the vegetables and fruits of the highest quality what's the point if I cannot go outside with these skills..."

A dryad and an arachne were talking under a tree watching vines collecting the juicy and tender fruits inside a container, it does not need to say that the vines were being controlled by the dryad.

"But the most frustrating thing is that while I obtain a lot of points my absence in the agriculture department can cause me a suspension..."

"You have that human lover here, right? I heard that she is just a commoner wouldn't it better for you to remain here since she has also been kidnapped specifically by your request."

"T-that...haah...that's true but she so stubborn! She still had not gave in to my love and continue to cry the moment she sees me..."

One obviously with their points could also ask for requests such as the death of someone or the kidnapping of a person, with the cost increasing with the difficulty of doing such task and how it could influence Intris by doing such actions.

"S-should I really have to resort in using the so called 'Stockholm syndrome method'?"

"It will work out."

"Haaah...thanks. But you are not faring that well either with that celestial being as your lover..."

The dryad and arachne sighed as they gazed with blank eyes the fruits being collected.

For some reason possessive and obsessive tendencies started to appear after some time, either towards each other or towards the inhabitants of Intris. In fact a third of the population of the society was composed of people outside of the dungeon. Watching more closely, however, one could see that half of population was always accompanied with a person behind them either trembling and terrified or filled with love and smiles. Seemingly disturbing in the outside this kind of thing was normal. Such behavior didn't bother Deva that much but Core prompted her to create some laws spefically for these matters... matters of love...in fact it occurred that two or three people were targetting the same person and if the two or three couldn't find a solution then a Sin or a Virtue was required to find one, with most of the time ending with either the victim being shared or with the yandere contestants competing with each other in a specific field.

The underground base and inside the Tower of Trial bustled with activity but inside a seemingly normal house Aine attempted to break from the web encasing her entire body but she was too exhausted and gave up instantly, the delicate yet robust web encased Aine's body for the exception of her nose. The web, however, was vibrating not because of Aine's struggles since the web firmly held her in place but from the toys inside her that were buzzing causing Aine to profusely have mind blowing orgasms. Ironically Aine ended up to a state similar to the gods she accompanied in the past but instead of being only seen as a livestock she was being showered with affection and love by an arachne and such love and care was obviously refused causing the current predicament.

Aine was living in peace and even fully focused herself in reading several books in solitude not caring about the others, but who knew that her appearance caused the curiosity of an arachne.

Aine wondered in her cocooned form if such event was planned by Deva but even then she wouldn't be able to do nothing about it.

Suddenly Aine could feel herself being embraced and she instantly knew who it was.

"Mmm...Looks like you are behaving yourself. You could've said the words 'love you' instead of 'crazy' I hope that passing a weak cocooned and alone in the darkness caused you to learn your mistakes." The arms of the arachne touched Aine here and there earning weak moans and sobs.

Aine could feel her will decrease as the warmth of the arachne pervaded her body. A week ago while captive she was treated with care and love but just the slighest mistake brought her a week of being cocooned and treated like an object. Aine trembled as she recalled the state of the other gods. If she could atleast retain a sliver of sanity then it is a better ending than ending like those gods. There will be also someone who is devotedly in love with her and is caring when not angered, isn't that way more better than being milked to eternity to the point of losing your own self? Why struggle so much since she already lost long time ago? She won't be treated as a tool for pleasure but instead loved wholeheartedly something that in her life she never experienced.

*crack*

As if something broke inside her, Aine relaxed her body and leaned herself to the arachne. The arachne squealed as she saw such thing, Aine was showing signs of giving in.

"I'll take care of you, so why don't you just love me back?" A crazed smile spread in the arachne's face.

Such occurence was, however, quite normal within the houses of these crazed beings, with each of them attempting to show their love to their captive using their own methods.
