Dio waved his hands, and the mirror dimension shattered and collapsed, revealing the restored Hong Kong City and Stephen, who looked at him curiously. Dio smirked as he knew that everything was going swimmingly, and Dormammu was successfully kicked out of the Earth, just like what was supposed to happen in the plot!
Dio wanted to fight with Mephisto once more as he could feel how much he improved after their fight. But more than he thought he would, Dio was laughing uncontrollably when he remembered that Mephisto was holding into the name Monkey D. Luffy as of now! It would be nice if he could somehow gain a rubber power the next time they met.
Dio knew the next time they met would be a fierce battle! But it wasn't something that he had to worry about.
"You managed to kick out Dormammu?" Dio asked Stephen.
"Yeah, but that is not the issue right now! Are you sure the old man earlier was a demon?" Stephen asked carefully. Dio caught on the curiosity on Stephen's face and smirked immediately.
"It seems that the Ancient One had never really told who you'd have to deal with when it comes to Hell Dimension, or did you think Dark Dimension is the only dimension that sets their eyes on Earth? Let me give you some advice; you should assume every single myth that revolved around our planet is real, gods and elder gods, angels and demons, dragons, evil spirits, and whatnot. There was some truth to them that you should expect to encounter one way or another." Dio said, still with a smirk on his face.
Stephen was startled by Dio's words as Dio's words were the truth! The Ancient One hasn't told Stephen about any other dimension that might attack Earth in the future! Dio shook his head and smiled as he knew that Stephen must be really troubled right now.
"Forget about it. The Ancient One might not inform you herself because she wants you to learn about them yourself! The flaming skeleton on the news is real, and the old man that you saw earlier was a clone! The real one is still in hell as he couldn't force himself into the Earth because of the multidimensional law that the Ancient One has set up in the past, but his clutch on Earth was still real as he still sends his clone over to Earth all the time to break the law one way or another." Dio said casually.
"In fact, the Ancient One has banished a bunch of these clones back to hell herself over the course of her life. I didn't know how many she managed to send back, but in fact, some managed to get away and manipulated humans to do his biddings. Now that you've inherited the title Sorcerer Supreme from her, it is your responsibility now to deal with these troublemakers in a way you saw fit." Dio said solemnly.
"I will be honest with you, if you didn't have the Eye of Agamoto with you, this entire tirade of blocking the other dimension from invading Earth was total bullshit as you will have a hard time just fighting against some demons. With that in mind, I suggest you hurry up and build up your strength! If at the day that everything was at stake and I deemed you not worthy of the Eye of Agamoto, I will take it away from you!" Dio said solemnly.
Dio said something rather cold, but it was for the best! Stephen Strange or dr. Strange had to step up his game and take his responsibility to protect the Earth to another level as it seemed the enemies easily did as they please on Earth later. At the same time, while Stephen was silent as he still tried to process everything that Dio has mentioned, Wong took it upon himself to mark Dio as one of the potential enemies in the future!
"I will try to confirm everything you said in Kamar-Taj later! Nevertheless, I will improve over time! No matter how dangerous the enemy that I had to face later, I will not relent! That includes the Eye of Agamoto. I will never hand it over to anyone, including you!" Stephen said solemnly. Dio had a feeling that Stephen had a deeper understanding of the trouble that would follow him into the future, so he nodded.
Dio couldn't help but wonder that maybe the Ancient One's choice to take Stephen as the next Sorcerer Supreme was the right choice, but still, even if Stephen fell short in the future, he would have to grab the Time Gem for himself!
Dio then turned around and left, but he didn't leave Hong Kong. He finally had the time to visit this city, so he decided to stroll around as he promised to bring Wanda a gift. He believed getting some gadget from the east would make her happy.
As soon as Dio left, Wong asked Stephen in a huge curiosity. "Who is that man? I got the feeling that he is a very dangerous person!" Wong said worriedly.
"He was a friend of the Ancient One…." Stephen awkwardly said as he didn't know how to describe who Dio really was. But Dio should have meant something for the Ancient One as he was the last person that the Ancient One visited before she died! But he knew that he didn't have to concern himself about Dio for the time being as he wasn't the enemy this time. Stephen subconsciously held onto the Eye of Agamoto that was hanging on his neck. He couldn't help but reminding himself that the Eye of Agamoto was a really important artifact!
He knew that it was forbidden to use aside from the Sorcerer Supreme. It was just he couldn't help but wonder why the Ancient One let him use the Eye of Agamoto so easily? Was it one of her future readings? Did she see that it was better to let him have it from the start? Stephen couldn't help but want to know all of the answers to his questions, but he knew that the one person who could help him was no longer in this world!
Dio's words also filled him with a sense of urgency. He had to rebuild the London and New York Sanctuary to make sure that the Earth's defence from another dimension functioned normally once again. After that, he was eager to see just how powerful the demon that Dio said earlier was!
. . . . . . . . .
At the same time, Karl Mordo, whose faith in the Kamar-Taj has collapsed, found Jonathan Pangborn, who used his spell to support his paralyzed body.
"Why are you doing these?" Pangborn said as he collapsed on the ground and glared hatefully at Mordo.
"I saw a future where the Earth would face another catastrophe because of one thing! There are too many mages on this Earth!" Mordo said with a smirk on his face as he looked at the Pangborn's pained expression.
