Time Flies

(AN: I have changed the name of the Pink King from Anna to Rose)

Laying in a hospital bed at around 8 the morning, Damian awoke to the conversation of his friends Kai and Ari. They were arguing about why the other had left him alone but Damian quickly interjected while sitting up.

"You are both unable to blame the other. I wanted to go home and you both wanted to keep playing games. I don't fault you for thinking that nothing would happen." He said smiling at his friends.

"Still! You are our k-" Ari was saying before Damian quickly interrupted her.

"I know what I am to both of you, but I am also your friend first so don't forget that. I'd rather you call me that unless the situation calls for a change." Damian said as he looked around the room to find no other patients recovering there, curtesy of his mother.

Shaking his head a bit, Damian sent both of his friends out of the room to get him some breakfast while he checked his email, the gold king's email more specifically. He had created it after getting home the same night he uploaded the video, since then he had received multiple offers for interview and sponsorships. Feeling like it was a good time to get started with his organization, as the military were currently handling the strains that were appearing in the Massachusetts area only, he finally opened a few emails and looked at the specifics of these offers.

Two weeks had passed since then, Damian had been released from the hospital a day after being shot. His mother, Angela, was very against it but with Damian persistence, he was able to leave after sneaking out around lunch time.

Since then, Damian had been offered sponsorship ranging from foods and drinks to vehicles. Though the extremely popular brands didn't offer a sponsorship, most likely due to them not knowing much about the gold king, Damian was able to look at sponsorships from Toyata and Handa.

For the other sponsorships, they were off brand soda companies that wanted to get more popularity through releasing a new drink in honor of Kameron's powers, though nobody really knew what Kameron's powers were. Still, they wanted to release something "golden' for Kameron's sake.

The red king, Cole, has already accepted a few interview requests and appeared on national tv multiple times. These interviews, according to Damian's emails about similar offers, game him a few millions dollars. Thinking it would be a good thing to get money and create a building for his organization, he accepted a few interview requests with local news and radio stations.

Since doing that, Damian had to change up his look a bit while he was walking around as the gold king. He kept the kitsune mask but instead, wore a white t shirt and black pants. He also wore a black polyester long coat from that he had purchased from an international store. The jacket had a hood, a zipper for whatever style Damian felt like going for, pockets at around the waist line, and a length that stopped just above the knees.

All in all he felt he needed more gold with it so he he would try and have one custom for everyone that joined his group, he liked the style the clothes created and as long as he was popular enough he would be able to get whatever he wanted.

Currently Damian leaving a radio station interview with Kai and Ari, they didn't want to use each other's names so they had to use an alias for those types of things. Damian's alias was Zero, Kai was Kiro, and Ari was Nina.

They weren't using Damian's car to move around either, thanks to Damian's power they were able to all move around faster than the average human so after a hit of stretching, the trio ran into the street and jumped on top of buildings before roof hopping away.

A few minutes later they stopped at a parking garage where Damian had originally parked his car. Jumping onto the roof of the parking structure where only a black 4 door sedan was visible, the trio walked over and began to lean against the car while while relaxing for a bit.

"How much money was that interview?" Damian asked.

"Only about 10k" Kai said as he looked at his phone.

"Enough for a new car so we don't have to run everywhere..." Ari said as she looked at Kai.

"That's true, so what kind of vehicle were we trying to get?" Kai asked.

"How about an suv? As long as we tint the windows we should be fine driving that around rather than my car." Damian said as he put his jacket and mask in the trunk. Following Damian's lead, Kai and Ari put their masks and jackets in the trunk as well.

Looking over the railing of the garage, the three of them thought about the future some more.

"With how much money we got from news station interviews and radio station interviews we can buy a building to make our home base for the organization ." Kai said as Damian closed his eyes and thought of a few things.

"I don't really want it to be a police station type thing.... it'll be more of a homey type vibe for people who are there. Since I'll accept people into the group that are fresh out of high school and college, we should make it a place we can all relax in." He said as he opened his eyes to look into the horizon. "Hopefully we won't be asked to fight anyone too often but with how the war was back on Raya, I can only believe something similar might happen in the future.

Sighing to himself, Damian looked at his friends while making a remark in his mind. "The military won't be here often though, so someone will need to step in as the peace keeper between normal people and super powered individuals.... let's see what happens.

Two months later...

Outside of a three story home on an empty street, 4 black and gold suv type vehicles with tinted windows pulled up to the driveway before stopping. 5 people got out of each of the 3 vehicles and 2 got out of the last vehicle, leaving one person inside.

"Get moving!" A stern but soothing young woman's voice said as she watched the people in front of her nod and form groups of 5 before retrieving weapons from the back of the suvs. They appeared to be swords similar to Damian's but without having them manifested through power, they to be completely real and usable any time.

"Zero, everyone is in position." A voice transmitted over an earpiece said as the masked young man getting the information got out of the black and gold suv he was sitting in.

"All teams advance, remember to prioritize safety over everything and capture all strains in the home. These people are only ranked as C and B class strains who have organized online to rob armored trucks and stores. " The young man, Damian, said transmitted through his earpiece before looking at people wearing uniforms similar to him entered a premesis in an orderly fashion.

"Are you sure they are ready for this?" The young woman, Ari, asked leading up to a response form the man beside her.

"Relax babe, they have been training for a while, believe in them." The man beside her, Kai, said as he tapped her shoulder and followed the teams onto the property.

"Don't worry" Damian said as he stepped beside her wearing his kitsune mask. "All of these people are our strongest members at B and A class strength. They shouldn't have a hard time dealing with those strains with Kai there, he is an S class individual like you as well."

"I guess... what if something happens?" She asked turning her face towards him. She had changed her mask over the past few months to resemble Kai's but with hers being pink and black, it didn't really match with the gold and black long uniforms they wore but she didn't care much so Damian didn't pester her about changing it.

"Nothing will happen, we were informed that they had no A or S class individuals with them so everyone will be fine as long as the remember their training." Damian said as he looked towards the home just in time to see a couple of second floor windows light up and shatter outwards as flames burst through them.

"What was that on the second floor?" Ari quickly asked, getting a response a few moments later from one of the people in the building.

"It was just a fire based projectile ma'am, the strain responsible was just taken down and the extra flames doused before they were able to spread."

"I see, continue capturing them all." She said as she looked back at Damian who was looking at his phone.

"Going on another date with Rose?" She asked as she leaned over to peek at the messages on the screen.

"It's not a date! We are just 2 friends meeting for dinner, that's all." Damian said as he tapped her head and took a step away from her. "Focus on your job, Vice Captain."

"Yes, my king." Ari responded with a laugh as she poked his arm. "You should really go inside with your clansmen next time."

"I believe in who we select Ari, they have trained hard these past few weeks so let them prove that they haven't been wasting our time and my power." Damian said while looking up from his phone.

"I won't be around all the time to help them, they need to be confident in their training."

"Whatever you say..." Ari said as she began asking for updates about the situation an through the earpiece.

(AN: I sped up the story so we could get into the action and events, how it was going I felt it was too boring for readers.
