As I stood in front of my stove watching the gurgling pot of sauce, I couldnt help but sigh in contentment at how my life was going. Perfect husband, works hards, and loves harder. 

As I stand in the field surrounded by a multitude of bodies and covered in blood, I can't help but think of what brought me here. My mate. Or lack thereof. I have searched to the ends of the earth since the day I turned 18 but to no avail. She doesn't exsist. It's the only reason I can imagine. Why the MoonGoddess feels I do not deserve love is beyond my ability to understand.

Already Taken

I was washing my hands in the restroom when I hear the bedroom door open and close. I slowly open the door and peer cautiously into the room. I'm suprised to see Dawn and Ben along with Luc standing there waiting for me. 


"What's going on", I ask, making my way back over to sit on the bed. 


"Mom", Ben says, "there is something we need to talk to you about. But you have to promise to remain calm no matter what". 


All I can do is shake my head. I have never seen my children this serious before. "Why is he here"? 


"This has to do with all of us Mom. Please just listen". 


Once again I just nod. The three of them share a look and precede to move closer. Luc sits down beside me, with Ben standing a few feet in front of me, while Dawn is standing to the side. I can feel my anxiety rise as I sense something is not right. 


Then Ben begins to explain what I can only later describe as a pivotal point in my life. One I'm not sure I was ready for, or ever will be.
