JUST A HUG

Within a short time , it's already the first night Aria need to spend in this new strange house .

The day goes awkwardly as Aunt tried to take care of her , her husband glared at her unfriendly while the elder boy ignored her and the younger boy kept staring at her as if he wanted to talk to her but can't .

She sigh again ..

She wandered her eyes and look at the big and warm room . This is the first time she got such a beautiful room without any discomfort . She's already grateful enough even if she only got a small place to stay but Aunt is so kind to give her this beautiful room to stay .

She's currently resting on a big fluffy bed , the room was two times more bigger and fancier than her brothers room . Aunt even left a night light open incase she was afraid of dark .

This feels like a dream ... Meeting these people , running away from home .. It feels like once she sleep and open her eyes , she might be back at her house again ..

" I .. cwan't do this .. "

She gets up from her bed , hopped down the bed while dragging the blanket to cover her body . She chose the floor at the corner of the room near the balcony with no fluffy carpet under it . She's afraid that she's still dreaming so she wanted to stay on the hard floor just like her old room so that even if she wakes up in her old room again , she won't be disappointed .

She lays down hugging her knees and tightly wrapped the blanket over her body . She closed her eyes and prayed to god that tomorrow she's not gonna wake up in the same home with her brothers again .

Qin Lixin still can't sleep because of his excitement of having a younger sister . Nevertheless , his elder brother seems to want him to avoid the girl .

Because of that , he can't ask his brother to go meet the baby . So , with his cute pajamas that his mother put on him , he stealthily went out from his room searching for the guest room that the baby slept in .

The whole mansion was already dark since everyone is already asleep in this hour . His elder brother's bedroom was only two steps away from his room meanwhile their parents room only ten steps away making him act like a spy in the movies he watched to avoid other people knowing .

He tiptoed quietly until he found the room the baby's in . He open the door slowly and walked to the big bed with a pink sheets .

He whispered quietly with a childish voice .

" Don't worry baby , I'm just gonna check if you're fine or not . "

But , when he comes nearer , he only find an empty bed with no one on top of it . He started to feel nervous and search beside the bed and under the bed in case the small baby falls off but there was no one there !

" Uhh , baby , where are you .. ? are you— are you gone .. ? "

He's still a small child after all . He can't deal with the situations clearly so he started to cry bit by bit .

" Hnngh— the baby is gone .. my younger sister .. "

He tried to resist the tears but he can't help it when he think that there is no younger sister anymore .

Aria seems to hear the crying voice in her sleep . She tried to not care about it since she thought it's just a dream but as time goes longer , the crying seems louder . She wakes up forced herself to open her eyes , the floor she slept on was in a hidden sight so she can't see who's in her room .

She crawl a bit to peek at the bed and got shocked when she saw the little boy crying .

She whisper to herself in a low voice .

" Huh .. ? Why is he hwere .. ? "

There , she saw Qin Lixin crying his heart out while calling baby . His cry was not that loud that other people would hear it outside but being in the same room with him , making her hear every single hiccup he tried to hide .

Aria had no choice but to get up from the floor and walking slowly to coax the boy . Even if he is older than her , he's still a child afterall . And ... he's not like her brothers who only bullied her and hit her .

Aria calm herself down from the terrifying feeling of getting beaten from her brothers . She tapped the boy's back slowly and coax him with her short-tongue .

" It's owkay .. It's owkay .. Dwon't cwy .. You are not cute anymore if you cwy .. "

His hiccup started to stop when he heard her voice .

" Ba .. Baby .. ? Hnng— I thought you're gone ! Don't go awayy ... I still want a younger sister .. "

He hugged her with his chubby cheeks on top of her head and feel that the baby is so small . How can the baby be this small ?

Aria was shocked when he suddenly hugged her . She started to tremble when she thought of her brothers . Her whole life , the moment people touched her , they only want to leave a pain on her body .

The day always ended with her crying , screaming and bruises on her body with blood everywhere .

She's scared ....

Why did he touched her ?

Is he .... Is he going to do that thing too .. ?

She closed her eyes and her small fingers started to scratch into her palm tightly making it pale . She waited for the pain . She waited when he's going to raise his hand to beat her .

It's okay , she will endure it .

She's good at enduring .

It's the only thing she's good at other than making houseworks .

He must be mad because she's the one who's not in his sight and make him cry .

She should has just stay put on the bed obediently .

What if Aunt send her back to her family .. ?

She waited and waited but not even a slight pain she felt on her body nor did she feel any anger from the boy instead she heard his childish voice beside her ear .

" Baby ... Are you okay ? Why are you trembling ? Are you cold ? Don't be cold .. Mommy said babies should get warm to avoid getting sick . Don't worry . Brother is here . Let me hug you tightly so you won't get sick again . "

He hugged her again while carrying her up as if she's really a small baby . He takes her to the fluffy bed and put both her and him under the blanket .

Yawn ...

He closed his eyes and patted the baby beside her slowly . His sleepiness comes again after he had exhausted himself with crying . He talked softly to the baby with a sleepy eyes .

" Baby .. I am sleepy now . Let's go to sleep . Tomorrow , let's play together and be my sister , okay ? "

He kept mumbling for her to be his sister and after few minutes , a soft breathing could be heard beside Aria . He really had gotten asleep while still hugging Aria .

Aria didn't even realize that because from the time he hugged her , picked her up and ended up sleeping with her . All she think about is him hugging her .

It was just a pure hug .

No beating .

No pain .

No bruises .

Just a hug that makes her feel warm inside .

Just a comfortable hug that she can't even think of .

And ..

It's not from her brothers nor her father .

It was just from a little boy who is a stranger for her .

She felt ticklish inside and her eyes started to feel moist .

Hug ... Just a simple hug can make her cry .
