Afterlife

"Huh? What?" I gasped for air and quickly stood up. I looked around to see that there is nothing but a white blank space.

"I'm dead, right?" I asked myself. I looked down where my clothes are still intact.

"That you are." A voice said, echoing throughout the white emptiness.

"Who's there!? Where you at!?" I said, looking around quickly to see who's talking to me until I see a hall with tall pillars and a massive thrones. Where it seemed like a royal kingdom fit for a king.

"Here. You are in the realm called the Transcendent Realm where all Elder Deities reside." said a man. That man wears a golden armor down to his feet with a flowing crimson cape. He sits with his legs wide while holding a giant sword with a deep red blade that slays Hellkins. God of War, Zeres.

"So I'm dead, right?" I said.

"Yes, you have died in your world from a terrible poison." Zeres said.

"A terrible fate indeed. You have my sympathy." one woman said in a sad, gentle voice. The woman wearing a blue and purple dress that reached her knees while she puts her hands close to her chest to show her sincerity. She is the Goddess of Destiny Illumina.

"You poor thing...you didn't even return to the earth." another woman said. She wears a green dress with flowers and vines that never wilted, never discolored, never shriveled. Goddess of Earth, Teru. Then the God of the Seas, Tornro, and the God of Fortune, Taxaen.

"Which soul has arrived?" one woman said in a haughty voice. The Goddess of Order, Arukatha has arrived. Arukatha is the one who created the world, the inhabitants, the heroes, and the realms. But the truth is...she only made three realms. The Material Realm, the realm of the living, The Celestial Realm, the realm for all Heavenkins; angels in other words, and the Transcendent Realm, the realm of Deities; Gods and Goddesses.

The one realm that she did not create is the Infernal Realm, a realm fit for Hellkins; demons in other terms. The one who created it is Erukeza, formerly known as the Goddess of Protection and Arukatha's sister. During the creation, Erukeza saw an influx of Fiends and Hellkins attempting to rule or destroy the world. She tells her sister, Arukatha that if this keeps up, the Celestial Realm will be at risk.

With this, the sisters intervened and defeated the wicked and sealed the souls. Concerned about the event happening again, Erukeza created the Infernal Realm knowing that she'll lose her godhood by doing so.

Now here I am in the realm of the gods and Arukatha now came with a pure white and gold dress with a veil that covers her face except her mouth. When she seemingly looked at me, her mouth frowned.

"What an ugly sinner." Arukatha said.

Look lady, it ain't my fault that the radiation fucked me up in more ways than one. Cut me some slack! Wait...sinner?

"Sinner? What did I do?" I said, confused.

"Yuck, even your voice is revolting. But let me entertain you." Arukatha said condescendingly. "You caused a great deal of pain and suffering. The families you have ruined, the lives you have taken, and the fear you caused."

"I did it to defend myself and those around me!" I said, protesting.

"You caused a war that no one wants." Arukatha said.

"Timothy started it! I did it to finish it!" I argued. "That bastard is pushing his own agenda on other people, but no, it's more than that. He did it to join the New Order."

"That New Order, you say could've brought peace in your world." Arukatha said in a still condescending tone. I was baffled.

"Bring world peace by robbing free will? Robbing individuality? Their identity? That's no world I wanna live in, being some pawn of some organization." I said, staying firm to my beliefs.

"That free will brings chaos. A swarm of Hellkins put the two realms in danger because of it!" Arukatha said in a angry tone. "We made heroes to maintain that order!"

The reason why they send heroes, because they got their hands full with Hellkins. But the biggest threat was the Undefined. Incomprehensible beings that not even Deities know about. One day, one of such being tried to take over and it forced every Deity to use their full power to send it back. After that, they went into slumber for a thousand years.

I sighed. Since I done kicked the bucket, I don't wanna be stuck here bickering.

"Okay, my actions was rash and led to the deaths of many. I just can't have me and the other people's freedom taken away. Just letting it happen won't sit right." I said. Arukatha scoffed at my words, thinking they're nonsensical ramblings of a senile old man.

"So, are you gonna make me a hero to kill the big bad by following some prophecy while having a harem along the way?" I said sarcastically. I watched anime many times where the protag beats an opponent that is basically a god who can peg his ass in 100 ways with just one finger only to be defeated by friendship, inner monologues, and plot armor.

"Why would I have a ugly being such as yourself to be a hero who caused nothing but chaos in your own world?" Arukatha said.

Deep down, I feel relieved that I don't have to deal with that responsibility. But why is she calling me ugly? I look fine! Heck, I overhear female rebels gush over me!

"What's with you calling me ugly, huh?" I said to Arukatha, annoyed.

"Ugh, you wouldn't even accept it, huh? Take a look at yourself." Arukatha said. She snapped her fingers and a floating mirror flashed before me. What I see is myself...but different? What's this? What's that? I don't remember having this!

My eyes are different...I have dark brown eyes since birth and now my pupils are pale gray and the scleras are pitch black. Is this my punishment? I fought to defend my family and friends.

"When did this happen?" I said in a panic. Then my eyes began to leak out, but not drip on the floor as it is not liquid. It's slowly progressing across my face.

"The price of your actions, your parents were upholding the order until you decide to go against it." Arukatha said. Rage boiled inside me from the thought of them. I tried so hard to forget and she had to bring it up.

"Shut up, you bitch." I said. The deities were shocked, but Arukatha became angry.

"What did you just say!?" She yelled.

"My parents? Upholding order? And it's MY fault?" I clenched my fist and punched the mirror. The mirror bounced away, but it didn't shatter surprisingly.

"Don't screw with me! You saying that they're in the right where they tried to screw me and everyone else over for the sake of order!? If that ain't bullshit, what is!?" I angrily yelled.

"You dare speak to me in such a tone with vulgar language!?" Arukatha snarled. "Your very existence is an abomination and should never belong anywhere but there!" Arukatha said, impatient with me. "Sending you to the Infernal Realm is too merciful for you." Arukatha summoned a portal below my feet. I looked down to see nothing, but a pitch black void.

This is where Undefineds come from, if anyone who is not an Undefined enters this realm will have their body and soul erode. No skills, stats, nor resistances can save them. Or so they say. But still...calling it unsettling is putting it lightly. I fell, but thanks to my reflexes, I grabbed on. Although, I'm hanging by my two hands.

"Some goddess you are, your order is no different in my world! You're just a self-entitled slut who thinks everything bends to your whim!" I said hanging.

"I will hear none of your words that undermine my roles! Begone, abomination!" She extends the portal, making my hands lose grip. I began falling into the void, but while the portal is open, I said those two words.

"FUCK YOOUUU!!" I yelled, giving Arukatha the middle finger with both my hands. At that very moment, everything went dark.
