Heated Interrogation

I asked him the most important question on how in the flying fuck did he get this skill? Some cases must be acquired through deities.

I looked at him with rage in my eyes, rage burning hotter than the flames inside this mansion spreading further. But in his perspective, it is a endless void, threatening to swallow him whole if he were to stare at it for too long.

Well that's what will happen if he tries to bullshit his way out of this.

After my question riddled with profanity and insults, Alphonse became insulted and regained what little pride he had to ask me this.

"How dare you insult--"

But I didn't come here to listen to that bullshit.

*Shinkt!*

I stabbed my Greatsword into the floor, nearly missing his crotch between his legs. Alphonse's shred of bravery was crushed away and made him tremble in fear in the face of death.

"Answer. My question." I growled at him.

"I got it from Arukatha that she bestowed upon me! To enact order in the midst of chaos!" Alphonse said hastily.

[This statement is false. Although it is obtained by one of the deities, but that skill is stolen. The original holder's name is the deceased Rudolph Timerz who held strong opposition against corruption until he was killed by assassination conducted by Alphonse.]

For it to be stolen, Timothy had something that steal skills and make it his own. However, I'm ending it now.

"We'll continue this later, but first...deactivate the barrier and surrender." I demanded.

"Why? So you barbarians destroy what order do I have!?" Alphonse protested.

*Crack!*

Without hesitation, I broke his finger.

"Aaaagh! My finger!!!" Alphonse shrieked in pain and rolled around to make an attempt to mitigate the pain, but I grabbed his neck. He choked as my grip constricts his breathing, but not enough to crush his neck.

"Stop your fucking pig squealing before I slaughter you like one. Undo the barrier." I threatened.

"Okay..." Alphonse said weakly with my hand holding his throat. I dropped him, expecting him to do what I told him. He scampered to the glowing staff to grab it and the staff that is glowing faded away. The barrier from it faded as well.

{Meanwhile...}

When Hyoran watched the black cloaked figure walk in the distance to enter the house, an explosion was seen through the windows. She jumped from the noise of the explosion.

She lost connection with him the moment the barrier closed itself, but she knows he's still there. He wouldn't die so easily.

"Die, demi-human!" one guard yelled as he raised his sword to slash downward at Hyoran.

Without hesitation, Hyoran dodged the strike without looking. She jumped in the air, spinning her body to deliver a powerful counter.

*WHUNK!*

Hyoran spun in the air and kicked the guard's head. The metal sound was the result that the guard's head was protected by the kick, but the sudden shake of the brain was enough to render him unconscious. He then fell limp.

*BOOM!!*

Another explosion was heard in the distance, but it was not the mansion...it was the gate.

*MROOOOO!!!*

That roar, Hyoran recognizes that roar and looked in the direction it is coming from and saw Taudera in the distance, but he is different. Red fur, gray rocks on his body acting as armor, the color of his horns are also changed.

"Taudera evolved..." Hyoran said. She went into the middle of the main road and waved to Taudera to get his attention.

*MROOOOO!!!*

One of the rebels looked where the roar was from and immediately responded.

"It's a Firestone Bull! Everyone get out of the way!" one man yelled. By then, Taudera began charging ahead. The footsteps of Taudera are heavy and imposing and grows louder.

"Hey, the feudal lord's mansion is burning!" one of the rebel's called out. Hyoran looked at the burning mansion with horror. But when she see Taudera approaching rapidly, she knew that he'll break through the barrier just as he broke through the camp and the castle gates.

*MROOOO!!!*

Taudera roared as a final warning and impact is imminent to the barrier.

*BOOOM!!*

Taudera rams into the barrier and the impact of it is an equivalent to an explosion. The barrier that has been struck with quivered from the impact. Most importantly, it created a crack on the barrier.

However, it wasn't enough to go through. Taudera ran back to gain distance and charged again at the same spot, but before he got close, the barrier faded, causing him to miss the barrier.

*CRASH!!*

Taudera breaks through the brick walls surrounding the mansion and the gardens of Alphonse's estate. He tramples the plants and flowers that stood tall in the midst of chaos of multiple rebellions.

The guards and rebels saw the barrier deactivate, but Taudera didn't wait for anyone, he charges to the mansion and hope to save his savior.

*MROOOOO!!*

Taudera roared again to call out his savior, hoping he is alive and well. If he's unconscious, he'll drag him out.

*CRASH!!*

Taudera crashed through the walls and is greeted by a raging inferno in the mansion. Wood burn and flicker, cloth being reduced to ashes and scatter into the wind, the corpses that were the guards were scattered across the floor.

*MROOOO!*

{1st Person.}

[Attention. Holy barrier deactivated. All connections reestablished. All EP restrictions lifted.]

[Mavros is no longer weakening and returned to original rank.]

[20 hostiles slain. 430,000 EP acquired.]

Well, all of that came to me at once. Now, to get the tub of lard, fox eared bandit, and some cronies out of the burning mansion.

*CRASH!!*

*MROOOO!*

I hear Taudera's voice inside the building

"Taudera, perfect timing. Be right there." I said. I looked around to find rope, but the ropes are probably burned to ash by now. I ripped off the flags and banners of those things and wrapped around those guys so that none will escape.

I dragged the guys down where Alphonse notices the charred and broken corpses of his guards. He looked in greater horror as his fame, his wealth, and power that he currently attained and the power he could've achieve is crashing down.

If you're gaining, be it power, fame, fortune, be prepared to lose it.

We dragged the guys out of the building where I dragged Alphonse in front of his mansion and put him in full display.

"Hey, it's the Beast Tamer! He's got the feudal lord!" one of the rebels yelled.

The guards and soldiers who are fighting for Alphonse can only look in horror as their leader is held hostage.

I placed my longsword near Alphonse's neck to prevent them from getting further.

"Ah, nope! Drop your weapons! Unless you want to see this pig get butchered." I warned.

"Please surrender! This young man can do more than just burn my house down!" Alphonse yelled. Although he's a greedy noble, but he's not a delusional idiot.

The guards soon threw their weapons down and places their hands behind their heads. The rebels began celebrating as they are no longer stuck on the bogus system.

The citizens who walked out found that the feudal lord is now overthrown and began celebrating too.

"Finally! The rank system is no more!"

"I can finally see my family again!"

"This means that my family won't be executed...finally."

Celebrations ran wild across the city, emotions pour out of them that they had to follow rule in order to survive. They have their own circumstances when it comes to their families, their livelihood, and so forth.

Now that they no longer have to suffer. Not anymore.
