"It's ready." I said, taking out wooden bowls and pouring the contents for Hyoran and gave it to her. I then poured out mine. I also grabbed spoons for us as well.

This stew looks kinda like beef stew, but it is less thick than what I had back in my world. It would have been better if it was mixed with broth instead of water.

I look at Gris, Noire, and Dichrome and I reached inside to see more of the Red Cow meat. A whole lot more. This amount of meat could last us for months if not years!

"Damn, Tuya. You really went all in for us." I thought. "But it would be a shame if it were to go bad."

"Here you guys go. Eat up." I smiled, handing them raw meat because giving them meat mixed with spices and stuff would freak out their senses.

The three began eating and Hyoran also began eating.

As she took a bite, her face brightened up and her tail wagged vigorously. She began eating with delight.

If she likes it, then it should be no problem. Although I never eaten this type of meat before and Hyoran has been wanting to try it.

I scooped up a piece of it and ate it.

*Munch*

Its...better than I thought. This meat is more tender than I thought it would be since back then, I expected to have some form of toughness. But this...this melts in the mouth.

I continue eating the food and the more I eat, the better it tastes.

{5 minutes later...}

We exhale a sigh of relief as we ate all of the stew and closed the lid. Hyoran stood up carrying Fennec and sat down beside me. She leans towards my shoulder and sat there with a relaxed smile on her face.

"I can't wait to see mama and papa again." Hyoran said.

"Yeah, once we go back, we'll go adventuring and be strong like them." I said.

"Yeah..." Hyoran sighed. "Do you think there will be another hero coming after us?"

"I don't know, but if a hero that attack innocent people for no reason, is no hero at all." I said.

Even though Zaneth is a death's door, I still struggled against him and used so many fusion magics and my body took a lot of damage from Mana Deprivation. If it weren't for my Regeneration, I would've died 30 times over before killing Zaneth.

I must go beyond Rank S and evolve if I hope to survive in this world at the very least. The moment I unlocked the Hero Slayer, things are gonna get more dangerous along down the line.

*Yawn*

Hyoran yawns and crawls to the bag. She was hoping to find a blanket to get comfortable. She rummages through the bag and pulls out a large black blanket.

"Not only it's warm, it's waterproof." Hyoran said and wrapped herself around it. "Although, I can resist the cold, but Fennec might get cold."

Fennec nudged her nose at Hyoran's cheek and licks her. Hyoran soon lays down on the blanket and Fennec lays with her.

I also laid down and looked at the two slowly having their eyelids getting heavy. They soon quickly fall asleep for the night.

I look at Gris, Noire, and Dichrome sleeping too where Schwarze and Paura also sleeps. There's Viridesca, but something is off. Her eyes are struggling to stay awake.

No way...it hasn't been a month since I first named her and if the monsters were to evolve naturally, it takes longer as go further in evolution.

However, Natural Evolution is a whole lot subtler than my type of Evolution where they roar to the skies and it becomes some sort of incoming boss battle.

Well...it's nice to hear the rain and no crazy disturbances once in a while.

I walked up to her and gently patted her head, she looked up groggily and swaying as she's getting increasingly tired.

"It's okay, Viri. You can evolve." I said.

Viridesca smiled and finally closes her eyes. Then, her body glows a bright green light.

*Fweeee...!*

The green light dissipates and shows a perfectly round sphere with a deep emerald green color that is the size of a fully grown apple.

Now that she is evolving, I walk back to my spot and lay down on my back and listen to the crackling wood and the pouring rain.

While I'm at it, I check my stats.

To think I am making the Deities aware, by unlocking one of the hidden skills and killing a Hero. But the first hero was luck. I have to make sure I am better prepared.

I then pressed one of the hidden skills.

I take a deep breath and put a corner of the blanket in my mouth as to muffle my sounds if the pain happens again.

If I am gonna go through pain in order to survive instead of dying, I'll survive and take on whatever comes at me.

Shortly after, that sensation assaults me again.

"Grrrrgh!" I groaned and bit hard into the blanket as to muffle my sounds. My body convulses, my eyes dart around, and my breathing becomes rapid.

This sensation is that my body is being rapidly destroyed and reconstructed from the inside at the same time. My bones breaking and fixing itself, my blood vessels rupturing and closing, and my organs tearing and repairing.

All of this pain would make anyone fall unconscious from the shock or kill them outright as it could bring stress to the heart.

But me? I cannot go unconscious or die from shock, no matter how I wished for it, it will not happen. And yet, I vowed to get stronger, to endure, to survive...to live again.

And as I live, I will live as I see fit. And no Deity will ever take that away from me!
