Returning to Nolten (Part 2)

Hyoran was flabbergasted, shocked, bewildered by the spectacle of what I did. In her eyes, I basically pulled my weapon out of thin air and make it "disappear" from existence.

"Hey, Hyoran. If you keep your eyes open for too long, you'll dry them out." I said, smirking. She blinked and shook her head out from her daze.

"Hmph, don't tease me." Hyoran pouted, crossing her arms. I chuckled.

I turn my attention to my System on how can I put my large monsters into my Isolated Space. Isolated Space is a place created by Space Magic which can be used as a temporary base anywhere at the cost of MP for maintenance. However, there are certain skills and magic that can counteract against Space Magic.

I remember that in the game, Space that's created goes anywhere as long the user has enough magic. If they don't, stuff inside will remain stuck until they do. In some cases, all the stuff gets forced out.

Although better than Shadow Sneak and Concealment combined, but not invincible.

"Hey, I can put living beings into Isolated Space?" I said in my mind.

[With your current tier in Space Magic, it is not possible. However, Isolated Space created by users are habitable, therefore possible for living beings.]

If that's the case, I'll upgrade my Space Magic the highest possible.

"System, Space Magic to Tier X."

[EP required is 90,000. Proceed?]

Quite expensive for a skill, but I have over 200 million EP. Chump change. Wait...I can use Tier X Unique Magic? Then that means...oh yes.

"Do it."

[Acknowledged. 90,000 EP deducted.]

[Unique Skill acquired. Space Magic-X.]

[Deity threat increased to 0.109%.]

Nice, then this means I can transport large monsters without worrying about panicking the masses until I head to Dystoark.

I put my hand behind my back and began my Space Magic to play with Hyoran a little more.

*Vvm...*

I put my hand inside the ripple and call out her name.

"Hyoran." I called out to her.

"Yeah?" Hyoran answered.

"Boop." I said with a straight face and I did what said. I poked the back of her neck with my index finger.

*Boop!*

"HYAU!" Hyoran yelped like a little puppy, jumping into the air. She quickly put her hand where it touched her and turned to see what touched her only to see a floating hand surrounded by vibrating blue energy.

"What...!? Is that your hand?!" Hyoran said.

"Pfft. Yeah. Khhh-kh-kh-kh." I snickered at her reaction, making myself sound like a cleaning bottle spray. Hyoran pouted hard, growling.

"You meanie!" She yelled and started bonking me with her hands. I started laughing and she started laughing too.

"Alright, ready to see mom and dad?" I said. Hyoran nodded happily.

I then put my hands forward to summon a rift.

*Vzzzoom!*

The rift opens and unlike the smaller rifts, it is much taller and wider.

"Alright...Steinberg, get on in." I said, gesturing him. Steinberg walked towards it cautiously as he doesn't know what lies inside. All Steinberg sees is a mirror of himself.

*Rrrrh!*

Steinberg grunted in apprehension, worried about what would happen to him if he crosses over.

"Don't worry, Stein. I'll let you out the moment you show any signs of being uncomfortable." I reassured him.

Stein was reluctant, but he knows that I mean no harm. Stein walked towards the rift.

*Vzoom!*

As Steinberg entered the rift, the rift pulsed and persisted because I want him to come out on his own.

"H-he's gone!" Hyoran shouted.

[Rock Bear Steinberg has entered your Isolated Space.]

Success! Now I have to wait for his reaction.

*Vwoop!*

*Raaah!*

Stein pops his head out from the rift and grunts with reassurance that my rift is safe to be in and went back in.

"See? I know my Isolated Space is safe." I said, confirming my certainty. "Flammen, Santrasa, Taudera, come on in."

Flammenberg went next and went inside the rift slowly. Santrasa ran towards it as he sensed no danger from that rift. Lastly, Taudera entered the rift as well.

[Flame Bear, Flammenberg has entered your Isolated Space.]

[Red Storm Tiger, Santrasa has entered your Isolated Space.]

[Flamestone Bull, Taudera has entered your Isolated Space.]

I then clutched my hand to close the rift behind them.

"There, no one will suspect a thing while they're in there." I said, satisfied with the expected results. "Let's pack up and head home."

We went inside to see Paura awake and Schwarze awake as well. I carry the two and Hyoran packs up the blanket we used.

We exit the stone tent and I snapped my fingers.

*Snap!*

*Crack!*

*Crumble...!*

The stone tent first began to crack all over until it is reduced to mere rubble and returned to the earth, along with the ashes and the pot I created.

"Dichrome, to my shadow." I said.

*Shoom!*

Dichrome went into my shadow and I call for Zala.

"Zala, come on out." I said.

*Shoom!*

Zala comes out of the shadows and sputters.

"Ready to go?" I said. Zala nudged and nodded. We carried our backpack and climbed on Zala's back. I realized that Paura might cause trouble since he was just seen as a Scythe Spider. The villagers may have let me off the hook for being drunk on bloodlust, but sending in with more monsters would mean I am taking them for granted.

*Vvwop!*

I opened a rift much smaller than Steinberg, but large enough to allow Paura to get in.

"Get in, Paura. I'll summon you again." I said.

*Kii!*

Paura screeched and entered the rift.

*Vwop!*

[Scythe Spider, Paura has entered your Isolated Space.]

With that out the way, we began our journey back to Nolten.

"Let's go!" I said and Zala began walking. Fennec quickly jumps on Hyoran's lap, Gris and Noire began following us, and Vampa, Burya, and Groza, began flapping their wings to go above the trees where Schwarze lands on my shoulder.

When I get there, I don't wanna do anything for a short while.
