Introduction of the Blue Dragon

*PIISHYAAAOOOOOWWMM!!!!*

The flash of light that was Holy Magic exploded into a pillar of light that pierces the very skies above. The light known to eradicate all that is wicked and protect all that is righteous.

That very light not only pierces the skies, but through the forest around it.

An Aerokin above bore witness to the blinding light and had to shield her eyes.

"What is that light!?" Aria said, shielding her eyes. The other Aerokins including Vampa, Burya, and Groza at her village were also witnessing the light at the mountains. And then the three avian monsters began flying towards the center.

At the foot of the mountain, Exor, Santrasa, Taudera, and the rest of the Ogres feel the ground tremble violently.

"The ground is shaking!?" Exor exclaimed and then see the distant light through the trees above. He then soon realized that it was Holy Magic.

In the village of Onis, Onizakura, Metsuka, Gourai, and Friis bore witness of the the blinding light in the distance.

"That light...it's the light of a Heavenkin." Onizakura said. "The same light I saw when I was a child."

"It must be Arex. She's the one capable of such power." Friis thought to himself.

In that moment, Dichrome, Fennec, Paura, and Viridesca began heading to the forest. Onizakura then followed.

In the Goblin village, Hyoran, Zherk, Gris, and Noire noticed the blinding light in the village.

"It's Arex..." Hyoran thought to herself. "But is that a power of an Archangel?"

Gris and Noire soon ran ahead to reach the center of the forest.

In the Orc village, Steinberg and Flammenberg also ran towards the light.

{Now...}

The light soon dissipates, leaving rising wisps of Holy Magic behind and disappearing after. A lone Oni Warlord is left, standing with his arms high above his head.

And that Oni Warlord is me, the one who was holding the Demon Lord until its body and soul is eradicated. He may revive, but he won't enact his own revenge anytime soon. Also, that Frost Giant is nowhere to be found.

I smiled. The Hellkins are slain and saved countless people outside the Telgrin Mountains unaware. Also, the forest of Dystoark is saved.

*Whump!*

I collapsed onto my knees and my Holy Aura faded away. Multiple messages popped out.

[Danger! You have suffered severe injuries! Seek medical attention!]

[You are bleeding!]

[Damage detected, now regenerating...]

[Danger! Hyper Regeneration exhausted! Seek a safe location!]

[Warning! Magic reserves depleted! Seek a safe location to recover!]

[Holy Aura Magic cancelled.]

[Tyrant Spirit disabled.]

[Bloodlust disabled.]

[Berserk disabled.]

[Your rank has returned to normal.]

Despite my Holy Aura and Holy Resistance, I suffered serious injuries. But the reason I took the brunt of that attack is to ensure the Demon Lord is completely finished. If he escaped, it'll be for nothing.

But right now...I need to secure my safety. The threat of the Hellkins and the Great Frost Giant may be gone, but there will be monsters that will come for me while Xydrid and the Blue Dragon is away.

"Zala...I need you now." I said via telepathy.

*Neiiiigh!*

Zala ran out of the forest, running through the aftermath of the intense battle that has unfolded. Zala meets me and nudges her nose on me.

I got up and staggered my way to climb on top of Zala, leaving small puddles of blood.

"Arex..." I said weakly.

*Bwing!*

Arex and the rest of the Heavenkins appeared before me and see my badly injured self.

"My goodness...Kain..." Arex gasped to see me in such a sorry state.

"We...we harmed Lady Arex's celestine..." one of the angels said with horror in his eyes.

"Arex, the Blue Dragon is coming and I need you all to heal me now." I said. Arex and the angels looked at each other and nodded, agreeing that my safety is their top priority. They put their hands outward and a green and white light surrounds me.

[You are being healed.]

[You have been blessed by Arex. Your body is undergoing regeneration.]

With these two messages, my wounds began closing up rapidly.

[You are no longer bleeding.]

[Your life is no longer in danger.]

[Caution! Your magic reserves are depleted, seek a safe location when possible!]

[Notice. Your Hyper Regeneration has resumed.]

I heaved a deep sigh that my fatigue has been washed away by their healing and blessing magic. But I must find a way to get out of here before the Blue Dragon comes back.

I would use Space Magic, but with my magic depleted, it's impossible without taking damage, thus risking my life.

*RRRRUMBLE...!!!*

Thunder booms in the distance and Zala became restless. She kicks her front legs in the air as she was spooked by not the thunder, but a powerful presence has been detected.

*BREEEP!!*

[Warning! A severe storm is brewing!]

[Danger! You are in range of a severe storm! Seek shelter!]

[Danger! An overwhelming presence has been detected!]

This ain't good, if I fight the Blue Dragon in my current condition, I won't last. Arex and the angels sensed the Blue Dragon.

"Arex, buy some time for us to escape." I said.

"Why? The Azure Storm Dragon, Za'taranga is not hostile anymore." Arex said. "I spoke to her just recently."

I blinked. I know that name, the name of that that single-handedly obliterated 30,000 player adventurers ranging from True Platinum to Emerald. Even a few Diamond players struggled against her!

"THE Azure Storm Dragon, Za'taranga!?" I yelled. She was a level 673 NPC Dragon and have powerful magic such as Storm and Tempest! If she wanted to, she can turn Dystoark into a wasteland!

I better get all my monsters out of here, but the moment Za'taranga attacks, there will be mass casualties! I should at least get the chieftains to safety so they can lead their people!

"Let's go Zala!" I yelled.

*Neiiigh!*

Zala neighs and turns around to the forest. Zala swerves between the craters and jumps over the rubble.

"Kain, wait!" Arex exclaimed, but I can't afford to fight Za'taranga in my current condition or in any condition for that matter.

[Danger! Incoming lightning strike!]

*KRA-BOOOOM!!!*

*NEIIIIIGH!!*

Lightning struck down, letting out a deafening booming thunder after. This startles Zala greatly and fell backwards.

*CRASH!!*

We fell to the ground. I crawled out from under Zala and Zala laid there, trembling rapidly.

"Zala? Zala!? What's wrong, girl!?" I yelled out of worry that she must've been hurt.

[Zala has been paralyzed with fear.]

Oh no, even if I run now, Za'taranga would already caused mayhem!

*THOOOM!!*

The impact was heard and saw Za'taranga land on the ground. Another alarm went in my head. Large tornadoes and lightning dances around her as if it was serving under her command.

*BREEEEP!!* *BREEEEP!!*

[Warning! You are inside the range of Storm Aura! Elements Fire, Earth, and Water has been weakened. Your Resistance towards Lightning and Wind has been lowered.]

Dammit! Just how and why in the hell the Elder Azure Storm Dragon, Za'taranga come to Dystoark!? How the hell did it come to this!?

I've already used my Survivor and if an attack like that happens again, I am dead for sure! But the Resurrection skill will save me, but what about Gris? What about my other monsters that don't have it? What about the chieftains? What about Hyoran, Ezo, and Tuya?

And what about me? Where will I go if I do get resurrected?

*Ding!*

[Your magic capacity is now at safe levels.]

Well, if I am to die...I better die fighting instead of crying like a little bitch.

"System, restore my armors and weapons."

[EP required for restoration is 15,000,000. Proceed?]

"Yes."

[Acknowledged, now restoring...]

*Shweeen!*

After the messaged my armor began repairing itself, including Crimson Maelstrom. I brought my Crimson Maelstrom to me by using Space Magic and then began my buffs.

[Tyrant Spirit activated.]

[Bloodlust activated.]

[Berserker activated.]

"If I am to die here..." I said in a low voice. Then I clutched my halberd tightly and my aura began raging.

"I DIE FIGHTING!!!" I roared and dashed towards Za'taranga for my final stand.

*BWISH!*

Multiple rings of light appears and restricts my movements completely. I struggle to break free, but I couldn't budge.

"Kain, please stop. She has no intention of fighting us." Arex said, blocking my way.

"What?" I said, flabbergasted.

"It is true. I have no intention of fighting any of you." Za'taranga said. She then retracted her wings and the storm began to subside.

Soon, the winds slowly becomes calm.
