Punished by Anger

{Meanwhile...in the Celestial Realm}

In the Celestial Realm, Arex and the other angels converse to a nearby Principality about the recently slain Demon Lord. They were at first terrified, but relieved at the fact that the potential widespread tragedy has been prevented.

"A Celestine encountered a recently evolved Demon Lord and you gathered Angels to assist that Celestine?" the Principality inquired.

"Yes, I did it as long it is within my authority." Arex replied.

"You were only fulfilling your duty as a Heavenkin." the Principality said. "I will report this to the higher Heavenkins and to the Deities."

Suddenly...

*Vvvt!*

A sound that resembles something that was cut off completely, preventing further communication. A sound only Arex heard.

"No..." Arex widened her eyes as if she foresaw a terrible tragedy. Or better yet, it already came. "I lost him."

"Him?" the Principality said.

"The Celestine...I lost connection to him again!" Arex said. "I must get to him!"

*Bzooom!*

A Platinum light shines brightly in the Celestial Realm, interrupting the routines of the Heavenkins.

"That light...it's a Dominion!" the Principality yelled.

The Heavenkins, angels and valkyries alike gather in front of the Dominion. They knelt down before the powerful Heavenkin.

The Dominion gently float down, its wings gives a silvery blue color, the white cloak with two platinum stripes on it. The Dominion soon spoke.

"I am here for the Archangel named Arex." The Dominion said.

Arex came forward upon command to be in front of the Dominion.

"I am Arex the Archangel." Arex introduced herself.

The Dominion's platinum eyes flashed and seven platinum rings appeared and bound her body.

"D-Dominion?" Arex said, confused.

"By the order of the Goddess of Order Arukatha, Arex, you are hereby detained and held for trial." The Dominion declared.

The Angels, Archangels, and the Valkyries were aghast. Arex was appointed to a young and recent Celestine places a responsibility on that specific Heavenkin.

Arex, before she was named, is a diligent Heavenkin who knows the laws and the cultures inside the Material Realms. When she was summoned, she met an individual wearing nothing but black riding a horse. The most surprising to her is that that individual can speak Celestial Language fluently.

"Dominion, there's-" an Angel Prime spoke out.

"Don't say any more." Arex interrupted the Angel Prime to avoid any complications. "We'll clear any misunderstandings on the time of trial."

Arex said those words with composure as she was being carried away into the distance along with high-ranking valkyries and Heavenkins.

{Meanwhile...}

In the Material Realm, in the isolated space, everything inside has been scorched bare. Not a single flower petal, no leaf from a tree, and not even a single blade of grass was spared.

Along with the now created barren wasteland lies two people, Solufreya and myself. However, our conditions are night and day.

Solufreya floats above the razed ground without a single blemish to her body, her clothes, armor, and even her shields.

Where I am anything but unscathed. My feet are gone, most of my legs and arms barely have any flesh where my bones are exposed. My body has also been charred black and exposed more of my skeleton.

My vision is non-existent as they've also been blasted into smithereens for I can no longer see.

Despite all of it, I cannot feel pain due to Pain Nullification.

All of this, would kill any man, hell, the attack alone would vaporize anyone.

But now my system is blaring alarms like there's no tomorrow.

*BREEEEP!!!* *BRREEEEP!!!*

[GRAVE DANGER!!! YOU ARE CRITICALLY INJURED!!!]

[Sending emergency signals...]

*Bzzt!*

[Failed to send signals due to interference. Reattempting...]

[Tyrant Aura disabled.]

[Berserker disabled.]

[Thought Acceleration disabled.]

[Adamantine Skin destroyed.]

[Adamantine Body Armor destroyed.]

[Elemental Armor disabled.]

[Caution! Crimson Maelstrom is badly damaged!]

[Caution! Tiger King is on the verge of destruction!]

[High Light Resistance acquired.]

[Warning! Your horn is broken! Kihou is now impossible!]

[Warning! Extreme Regeneration exhausted! Find shelter when possible!]

[DANGER! You are dying! Heal immediately!]

Even with my body broken and mangled, I was still conscious. It's a miracle in itself that I am still alive where every other person would've been reduced to nothing.

As for Solufreya, she sees my mangled body kept advancing forward.

"I used my Light Magic at Tier C and his body still remained. Even if he's alive, it won't be for long." Solufreya thought to herself. "He had Survivor in his Unique Skills, but seeing that he did not recover instantly is because it's already activated. I will make sure to finish him off."

Despite my condition, my magic is the only thing it kept recovering.

Solufreya kept coming forward until she is within striking distance. She sees my broken body that could've been viewed as a mangled corpse. But she sees my chest rising ever so faintly.

Solufreya raised her sword and pointed downwards. Despite my lack of vision, I can sense her magic.

As she raised her sword, I shot out a red energy beam.

*Bzooom!*

*Clash!*

As expected, the beam was blocked by the shield in Solufreya's hand. But what she didn't expect is that red energy beam was my arm. My Kibuki.

*Fweeen!*

I cast my Tier XL Healing Magic on myself to reverse the damage done to me. My flesh that was burned and torn began to fix itself quickly.

First came with my torso, then came my arms and legs, and my hands and feet. My jaw regrows and came along with my teeth and tongue. Soon, my hair and my ears grew back as well.

Solufreya who saw me widened her eyes and her expression has changed.

I slowly stand up while holding the Kibuki and stare her down and give the most psychotic, shit-eating, scumbag smile, showing teeth and all without my eyes.

A smile so wide, it could reach my ears.

As for Solufreya, she widened her eyes and her stoic face turned into slight disgust.

"Ridiculous...you still live and even in that state?" Solufreya said with disdain.

"Hahahaha...." I laughed as my jagged horn fixed itself and lastly my eyes grew back. "Just barely, but now that I'm in one piece..."

The messages popped up again.

[Your horn has been repaired. Kihou now usable.]

[Compensator activated.]

[Oni Berserk restored.]

"I'm ready for round 2." I said. Soon, I began my buffs.

[Thought Acceleration.]

[Tyrant Spirit activated.]

[Berserker activated.]

[Elemental Armor- Lightning activated.]

With these messages the Kibuki turned dark purple along with my aura and burned furiously.

"Alright, lady..." I said and activated the skill that made my vision go red for a boost in power.

[Oni Berserk activated.]

[Caution! Your mind is slowly descending into madness.]

"Ready to dance with daddy?" I said menacingly and I grabbed my Halberd and imbued it with my blood and my Tyrant Aura.

*Bzoom!*

I flew upwards and dived straight down to strike at Solufreya.

*CRAAAASH!!*

The strike I did is much more destructive than before. But instead of being unable to scratch the shield in her hand, it was dented very slightly.

Solufreya swung, but I dodged. I hit Rank XZ and became faster and stronger. But the trade-off is that it'll eat away at my sanity until I fall into uncontrollable rage.

"He dented one of my shields. A Divinium shield no less. As time passes by, he gains skills that was sealed. As I thought, he is too dangerous to be left alive." Solufreya thought.

"Come on, girl! I'm just getting warmed up!!" I yelled with a wide grin, seemingly enjoying the battle. But it was Oni Berserk doing this.

*CLANG!!!* *CLANG!!!* *CLANG!!!* *CLANG!!!* *CLANG!!!* *CLANG!!!*

I struck against the shields and it also became slightly dented with each strike.

"Even my floating shields are dented. He's getting stronger with each passing time." Solufreya thought.

My vision began turning red, but my assault continues and began chipping away at the Shields. Since I can't escape by hiding away, I should stall for time for my Compensator to kick in to allow me to use EP again.

I created 20 swords of ice at Tier XL again to distract her shields.

*Clang!* *Clang!* *Clang!* *Clang!* *Clang!*

My swords clash at the shields where I came at her with more aggression than before. In her eyes, I was a red rampaging storm, getting stronger and faster at every moment at the expense of my sanity.

[Compensator activated.]

[Valorous restored.]

[Your mental degradation has been slowed.]

[Extreme Regeneration is now functional.]

Solufreya slightly furrowed her brows and soon separated her Tenth Requiem to deal with my blades as some of them managed to make contact with her barrier.

*Shoom!* *Shoom!* *Shoom!* *Shoom!* *Shoom!*

*KRSSSSSH!*

The segmented blades flew out and shattered the frozen swords, but during that time, I grabbed her shield with my foot and began to strike.

*Bzooom!*

I finally landed a strike on one of the layered barrier. Sparks of light fly out from the massive impact and showed a distinct sphere surrounding Solufreya.

*Kzzt!*

A crack. A crack has formed from my attacks and Solufreya's stoic face was slowly, but surely is fading.

"My barrier too...?! Just what is this anomalous oni!? No Silver-eyed nor Gold-eyed Hellkin has ever pierced my shields, let alone my barrier!" Solufreya yelled in her thoughts.

I continue to strike the barrier for the cracks to multiply slowly. Due to the effects of the Oni Berserk, I began to move more like a beast than man.

"HAHAHAHA!! Not so stone-faced anymore huh, Solufreya!?" I laughed maniacally due to the effects of Oni Berserk, causing me to become more bloodthirsty and aggressive.

"COME ON, BITCH!! THAT BARRIER OR THEM SHIELDS WON'T SAVE YOU!!!" I roared.

My sanity was on its verge of breaking and edging between the line of having rational thought and becoming a killing machine without self-regard. But thanks to my

"Arukatha was right...you are an embodiment of chaos." Solufreya said.

Something snapped inside me. Usually the name Arukatha itself doesn't cause me to go on a rampage, but it still makes me bitter. Oni Berserk, however, causes the anger to be amplified and soon be unable to control it.

With me at the edge of sanity and the Oni Berserk amplifying the anger, just by her name itself was the last straw.

"ARUKATHAAAAAAAA!!!!" I roared and my aura roared as well.

[You have fallen into uncontrollable rage.]

My muscles grew, my eyes turned completely red and my psychotic smile turned into a snarling frown. Veins bulge from every part of my body.

At that very point, I can no longer think rationally. I only saw red and a floating black figure standing in front of me, marking my target.

"GRAAAAGH!!"

*CRASH!!!*

*KZZZT!!!*

I slammed my weapons down at the barrier and it shattered into particles of light. Solufreya was shocked that her defenses repelled Gold-eyed Hellkins completely without damage.

But me, who wasn't even a Hellkin destroyed it easily.

My roar was not that of a warrior who'll lay down his life, but it was that of a raving beast that is craving for blood, death, and destruction.

I strike at Solufreya without restraint, without caution, without care. Solufreya tried blocking my wild, yet unpredictable attacks.

"I tried to break his will to fight so that his death will be swift, but it did the opposite." Solufreya thought. Her real goal is to show the difference of power before being slain painlessly as Arukatha specified, but that failed. It only backfired.

Solufreya is one of the most loyal Heavenkins to Arukatha. She does tasks perfectly when Arukatha demanded without any complications.

But when I came in, I broke that streak. Although I couldn't hurt her physically, her pride was most definitely is.

Solufreya then gritted her teeth, knowing that her pride as a Valkyrie and as Arukatha's trusted Heavenkin was hurt. She could tolerate it no longer.

"ENOUGH!!" Solufreya yelled.

*Bzooom!!*

A large flash of light blazes outward, pushing me back. I skid backwards and rushed forward again with my hands and feet on the ground. My swords of ice were obviously destroyed as a result.

"By the decree of the Goddess of Order Arukatha, you must die! So die!" Solufreya yelled with anger in her voice and sent her sword segments at me.

"RAAAAAAAGH!!!" I only roared in response as my mind is consumed by madness. I charged at Solufreya's segmented sword.

*Slice!*

The segments severs my limbs and some went through my organs. However, it did not slow me down. My wounds healed up quicker than the sword created.

Solufreya summoned beams of light and fired at me by the hundreds. The streaks of light tracks me and makes impact, but it only cut my skin due to my resistance to Light Magic.

*WOOOSH!*

I jumped at the valkyrie and the shields reacted to block my way.

*WHAM!*

I grabbed the two shields and began pulling them apart slowly. And then my horns began glowing red.

*VREEEEE!!!*

A giant red ball of energy appeared, ready to fire at Solufreya. Solufreya bashed her shield at my chin to redirect the blast.

*BZZ-ZOOOOMM!!!*

Her attack knocked my head upwards, causing me to fire into the sky. The giant red ball flew upwards, mixed with dark purple and some black lightning shooting out. As it flew in the distance, the projectile collapsed in itself.

*VWO-BOOOOM!!!*

The projectile exploded violently. The air rumbled and the isolated space rippled violently. We were pushed back from the force of that explosion.

"The space around us nearly collapsed around us from that one projectile!? If this space collapses, it'll be worse than the Demon Lord!" Solufreya shouted. She looked at me standing there on all fours, crouching like a tiger waiting for their prey.

"GRRRRRRRGH...!!!" I snarled at Solufreya and my horns began glowing again.

[Compensator activated.]

[Dark Magic restored.]

*VREEEEEE-KZZZZTT!!*

I gather my magic to my horns and created that same ball, but much more bigger and violent mixed with my Tyrant Aura and my Lightning Magic and my Dark Magic.

"This magic...he even gained his Dark Magic back!" Solufreya exclaimed. "If it hits anywhere, the damage could be devastating!"

She instantly knew that she must stop me from destroying the space and Dystoark. She returned her segmented sword to its regular form and began summoning three different colors of light.

The golden one is Light Magic that was usually yellow and the white wispy one is Holy Magic.

She combined two types of magic that will decimate both the Undead and the Hellkins alike into a large ball of combined light.

On my end, the loose dirt and pebbles rumble and shake. The surroundings around me were red and ominous, indicating that death and destruction is coming. Where for Solufreya, it is white and is growing grass and flowers from the purification.

"By the decree of the Goddess of Order Arukatha..." Solufreya spoke again.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" I roared loudly and fired my projectile.

*KZZAOOOM!!!!*

"YOU MUST BE ERASED!!" she declared.

*KWO-SHOOOOM!!!*

A giant beam versus a ball of destruction goes head-to-head on which one gives way. The beam and the sphere are forces to be reckoned with, threatening to decimate anything it touches.

The projectiles rush ever so closer at a terrifying speed, like two beasts fighting for dominance.

Soon...Impact.

*KRAA-KRABOOOM!!!!*

The two masses of magic collided, causing the reaction in magic to be violent and volatile. Everything in this space trembled and the space we're in ripples violently.

The magics that was colliding were screaming from the magics it made and warping space from it. Solufreya notices the warping space around her and seeing it settle.

"The space is barely holding on, but it's recovering. Still, I must end this now!" Solufreya then notices something happening.

The giant ball is getting bigger. It's getting bigger because I fired another Kihou and is soon gaining the advantage.

"I fired my Light and Holy Magic at the highest tier I can muster. If I use Divine Magic and kill any innocents, Arukatha may not be able to cover me. But if it's to prevent any chaos from happening, I'll do whatever it takes!" Solufreya resolved herself that Divine Magic is extremely powerful and few Heavenkins ever attain it. Only Deities can wield it.

If a Heavenkin uses it without justifiable cause, the magic will be revoked. It seems that I am that justifiable cause.

Solufreya summoned a large ball of radiant white light where it pulsates rainbow colored halos and sparkles. That is Divine Magic.

She places it forward and fires it at Tier XXX.

*BZZWEEEOOMM!!*

Her Divine Magic soon mixed along with her Light and Holy to create a trinity that is meant to decimate evil and save the innocent.

The beam soon gotten bigger and due to the addition to Divine Magic, it began pushing back my Kihou.

I roared louder to squeeze out more of my magic until I get a notification.

[Caution! Magic reserves low!]

Despite this message, I continued to use more of it.

[Warning! Magic reserves very low!]

For my mind was already gone insane.

[Danger! Magic reserves critically low!]

[Magic depleted.]

At that final message, my aura faded, the magic on my halberd faded, my elemental armor faded, my Kibuki faded, and lastly, my Kihou faded as well.

At the moment my magic faded, my projectile lost momentum and began to fall apart quickly.

The beam in front of me soon broke through my Kihou and only I was the one standing in front of it.

Subsequently, I roared one more time before I was consumed by that blazing light.
