"That aura...that small dragon became a Tyrant?" Tiona said with fear in her eyes. Gunther trembled and fell to his knees, hunched over.
"No! It was known to have one dragon in this mountain! Why should there be two!?" Gunther was racking his brain on how it transpired. "I have the equipment and the power to face any Elder Dragon because of you! I'm so close to living my life comfortably and you die!? What kind of mother raise such a useless bastard like you!?"
Gunther on the outside may be despairing, but it couldn't be more obvious to me or Za'taranga.
"Strange, I thought the knight was the Hero, but it was this healer." I said.
"It can talk!?" Azia yelled. I checked their stats again.
===========
===========
As expected, the healer was a hero and was able to raise the ranks of others, but himself. Well they're insignificant anyways.
"You should've treated your teammate better or you not coming here at all." I said. "Even if none of you are heroes, I'm not one to leave any traces behind."
Gunther gritted his teeth and glared at me with rage in his eyes. He shot up and began swinging his weapon at thin air.
"You...YOU LOWLY LIZARDS!! I'M SUPPOSED TO LIVE PEACEFULLY! I AM--"
Gunther was yelling and insulting us, but Za'taranga isn't having it.
"Mind your tongue!"
*SMASH!!!*
With her three words, she struck her foot down on Gunther. The strike shook the ground and knocked the remaining two down. As she lifts her foot, Gunther or whatever left of him was his flattened armor. The rest of him was red paste.
"Seeing that my daughter has deemed you hostile, your life is forfeit." Za'taranga's eyes began glowing.
The two women soon began running for their lives, but I fired my Wind Magic to bisect the two.
*SLASH!!*
They were bisected and died on the spot.
I walked to the giant bag and tore it open to see something unbelievable. Magic Crystals ranging from B to S, potions, food, and spare weapons.
I began eating the crystals since they're basically food and I haven't gotten large boost since I was an Level V Hatchling. Every time I devour a large crystal, my power grows.
"My daughter, how did you find a hero?" Za'taranga said.
"I have a skill called Appraisal." I said. "But it seemed that knight and the others exploited him. Now they paid the price."
I continue to devour the crystals and Za'taranga noticed something in the distance and I felt something as well. I looked and see a pillar of golden light.
"That golden light...someone has awakened to be the hero as well." Za'taranga said.
The dark purple aura began emitting from my body by itself and soon turned into a pillar. It happened without my intention like it had a mind of its own.
"Your aura is reacting. This meant that you are close to the hero. But seeing that you are still young, you must get stronger." Za'taranga said.
She's right, I happened to got it because I was lucky. I won't be so lucky the next hero encounter happens to be above S rank.
"I will say this again, Kain Void is last seen in Dystoark. He also possess the same aura as you do. Whether you wish to travel there or not is your decision." Za'taranga said.
I remember that Alden usually goes around with multiple monsters. If I get to him, we'll be far better off as we can share knowledge and hopefully find a way out of this world.
But the distance from here to Dystoark is long. It took 1 hour on horseback in the game, this obviously will take no less than a day.
But the fact a hero is awakened and nearby, I better get a head start. I took the stuff out that aren't crystals or food and put the remaining crystals back in to close the bag. I put my tail through the straps to carry it.
"I will go there. Can you distract the hero for me?" I said. Za'taranga nodded and began emitting her Storm Aura.
I began flying away and used my Wind Magic to boost my flight. I already know where Dystoark is since I visited it multiple times.
Yeah, it'll be long, much longer perhaps. But if it's to see Alden again, I'll do it.
Wait for me Alden. I'll be seeing you soon.
