Two Tyrants

"You killed a hero!? How'd you do that!?" I said with excitement. "Was it from some form of ambush?"

"Yeah. It was an ambush, a very simple one." Ashley replied. "The person was a healer in the back that has magic to increase the ranks of others."

"Was it hard?" I said. "I bet you fought hard along with Za'taranga." I said.

"It was anything but hard. I used magic and turned his head into a red mist." Ashley shrugged. "My mother just did the rest."

"In the end, Hero Slayer just landed on your lap. How lucky of you." I said.

"Lucky? You're saying that you had it hard?" Ashley said.

"Remember Zaneth Leotide?" I asked.

"The most infamous bandit, wanted in three kingdoms of Noltia, Ergex, and Felexin. How can I not? You met him?" Ashley asked.

"Met him? I fought him. Nearly died on the first one and killed him on the next round." I said. "He even awakened as a hero."

"Zaneth, the most infamous bandit in the three kingdoms, becomes a hero...?" Ashley was bug-eyed and stunned from my reply. "Wait, what rank and race were you at the time?"

"I was a human at rank S, along the fact Zaneth became rank XZ after awakening." I said.

"S and a human!? You were 5 ranks behind and you killed him!?" Ashley yelled at my ridiculous reply.

"I wasn't alone, but even then, I had to use every magic possible to stop him from awakening. Hell, even at near death, he still remained a threat." I said. "This is proof, that I killed a hero."

I began emitting the ominous dark purple aura that only Tyrants can use after killing a hero. Soon, the system began notifying me.

*BREEP!* *BREEP!*

[Warning! A hero is has been detected!]

I looked at the mountains and pulled out my halberd and summoned my Kihou. Ashley turned around and spread her blue wings.

"You were followed by a hero?" I said. "You did kill one."

"Yeah, but it seemed that there's another one who followed me and hit me with magic that tracked me down. Took my all to barely survive that attack." Ashley said.

I send Xydrid and Hyoran into the Isolated Space in hopes for an ambush.

"When did that other hero awaken?" I asked.

"Shortly after I killed one. I was lucky, but this obviously won't be easy." Ashley said.

*THOOOM!*

Something fell out of the sky and crashed into the ground, kicking up dirt and grass. The monsters nearby already fled due to the presence of Xydrid, but now they have to flee a little further.

"It seems that my Dragon Hunting Magic wasn't enough to kill the child. As expected of an offspring of the Azure Storm Dragon." a female voice heard.

The dust settles and I see a woman in a tight white and golden dress made with scales, floating above the crater she created. Golden hair, shiny emerald eye on the left and a golden eye on the right.

I checked her stats.

"This isn't good." Ashley said, stepping back. "She has Dragon Slayer and my best magic is Lightning, but it's at Tier VI. Basic Element Resistance, Basic Elemental Dominance, and Myridermas's Blessing?"

"The All-Father of Elements. He gave her the blessing." I said.

Myridermas is the creator of all elements of this world. He created the basic elements, the mixed, and the uniques like Holy, Curse, Space, and even Chaos. The one element he couldn't do is Void Magic.

"So, you know the Deity who gave me his blessing, oni?" Erzibolt said. "Either way, your aura's are very similar and yet more powerful than the dragon named Za'trika."

Erzibolt summoned a rapier of Ice, surrounded by freezing wind. Erzibolt swung her sword three times and twirled it around skillfully.

Finally, she pointed her sword at us.

"In the name of Myridermas, I, Erzibolt Fairwind shall slay you." Erzibolt declared. "State your name, oni."

I smiled from her demand and followed through.

"My name is...Xydrid." I said with the wrong name, but it's not mine.

*FWOOOOOOMM!!*

Erzibolt was soon instantly consumed by the scorching flames of Xydrid's Fire Breath, the same breath that incinerated monsters by the dozens instantly and can turn any lush forest into a wasteland.

Ashley quickly turned around and see Xydrid flying in the air, releasing a stream of inferno and I used my Wind and Lightning attack to create a blazing tempest.

*GWOOOOOOSH!!!*

A blazing tornado rips through the skies and scorches any blade of grass it touches. Although, she is almost at XZ, she ain't a push over.

"Keep at it, Xydrid! We're facing a hero!" I yelled. "Miura, Espada, Islero. Come on out."

*Fwoom!*

The three appeared in a plume of black flames and notices the burning tornado. But they noticed the sensation of the Hero's Aura.

"So our first job is a Hero, huh? A tall order if you ask me." Miura said.

"Who will it be? I'll make sure that hero falls into depravity!" Espada smiled devilishly.

"Finally, some action." Islero said, standing up from his crouching.

"Alright, I need y'all to look out for: She resists all Basic Elements, can dominate elements at Tier XX, and has a blessing from Myrider--"

*BOOOM!!!*

A golden streak shot out of the tornado and struck Xydrid in the face.

"RaaaAARGH!!" Xydrid roared in pain and crash into the ground, interrupting his stream of fire.

"Torch the bitch!" I yelled.

The three smiled and summoned large projectiles of black flames. Ashley quickly stepped back, knowing that Inferno Magic does not extinguish until there's nothing left.

They fired their Inferno Magic at them without hesitation to finish off Erzibolt.

However, four beams of light shot out, dispersing the tornado and dispelled the magic they had in their hands.

But the fourth one came at me as well. I readied my fist and threw a straight.

*PA-SHING!*

The projectile was scattered by my fist, but from that projectile, I saw blood coming from my hand. Despite my Holy Resistance and other layers of defense, it did not fully protect me.

I look and saw that Erzibolt is protected in a thick shell of ice and the projectiles of holy light outside of the barrier. However, that barrier barely survived Xydrid's breath and my Tempest Magic.

"Such power from an adult dragon and the oni. You are too dangerous for you to be alive." Erzibolt said.

I used Space Magic to compress the space around her and crush her within the radius. Space Magic has good power and area control, but its weakness is that it cannot move after it was cast.

The space around her warped and distorted. I put out my hand and then clenched hard.

*Vzz-whoomp!*

*KK-KKRRK!*

The space itself compressed and crushed everything in a 20 foot radius, unless the person is immortal, there is no surviving that.

Yet, I heard no message.

"Above us!" Ashley yelled, looking up.

We all looked up and see Erzibolt looking down and prepared multiple projectiles of various elements including Holy Magic.

I knew that we'll take a lot of damage if we stay here.

"Scatter." I said.

"Huh?" Miura said.

"Scatter!" I yelled and Erzibolt began her assault.
