"Archdemon, I have a proposal!" Arkaon yelled.
Arkaon advanced behind the paladins, but they did not move.
"Priest Arkaon, please stand back! The Archdemon is dangerous!" one of the paladins said.
"It's fine. If an Archdemon did not attack us immediately, then there is room for negotiation." Arkaon said.
"Looks like you got a brain." the gray skinned shrugged. "Let's hear it."
"My proposal is that you must slay the army from Virdana and those from other kingdoms who come after our lives!" Arkaon said.
"Easy enough. But I need something in return." the gray skinned Hellkin said as he did a backflip and landed on top of a stone pillar, squatting.
One of the nuns spoke into his ear to voice her concerns.
"Priest Arkaon, we don't know the intentions of that Archdemon. What if he refuses?" she said.
"Then we give him more." Arkaon said. "We can start over as many times as needed."
Arkaon looked at the Hellkin and ready to give him his answer. Before he spoke, a priest bursts through the door.
"Priest Arkaon! We have a problem!" a priest yelled, panting.
"What now!? Is it the Virdana army here!?" Arkaon yelled.
"No, the Felexian knights! They're over 100 of them!" a priest said. Then another one rushed through the door.
"Priest Arkaon! A vampire has entered the church!" another priest said.
Arkaon was taken aback not when 100 knights were detected, but a vampire came as well. He knows that the church here is no longer safe and will be in greater danger if
"I have a proposal! Archdemon, kill the Virdana Knights, the Felexian knights, and the vampire!" Arkaon said. "The price? The souls of the people you killed and the vampire's blood core!"
"I'll...think about it." the gray skinned Hellkin smirked. He slowly stood up and jumped down from the pillar. "It sounds like a good deal."
*Boom!*
A muffled booming sound was heard in the church, causing the surroundings to shake, dropping dirt and dust upon them.
They look up and the explosion gets louder.
*BOOM!*
"Looks like there's someone to join us." the gray skinned Hellkin said.
*BOOOOM!!*
The third explosion rang out and it lets out a hail of smoke and debris from above. The gray skinned Hellkin flew out of the way and the paladins and mages used spells to block the debris.
Dust covers a wide area, obscuring most of the view for the two priests in the distance.
Then, they smell blood.
As the dust settles, they see a dark skinned man in long black hair that reaches past his shoulders. He wears a black and red suit while wearing a black cloak with a red interior.
His eyes glow orange with a mixture of red in the dim place.
"That clothing...it's a vampire!" one of the priests yelled in horror.
"And those eyes...it's a Blood Viscount!" another one said.
"Hehehe..." the Blood Viscount chuckled and began speaking. "Hey, Arkaon."
The Blood Viscount spoke to Arkaon in a deep, yet friendly tone, but he is not here to be friendly.
"Remember me? The vampire that you driven out?" The Blood Viscount said as he walks towards Arkaon.
"You...you're the vampire who profaned the land of our kingdom!" Arkaon points at him.
"We had a deal, Ark. You promised me Blood Crystals or the humans. Yet you screwed me over." the Blood Viscount hissed, releasing a deep red aura. "You know what happens when someone screws me over, right?"
The Blood Viscount raises his arm and displays a severed head of a paladin who tried to fight him.
"Don't get familiar with me, bloodsucker! You threaten the safety of the people with your very existence!" Arkaon yelled.
"Safety of the people? You mean YOUR safety?" The Blood Viscount laughed.
"You made a deal with me so that I can get rid of the undead crawling in your empty box every single night as long you have payment in blood, blood crystals, magic crystals, and gold." The Blood Viscount said. "I gave you a place for you to grow your influence and I can take it away just as easily."
The Blood Viscount rebukes Arkaon's excuses and released more of his red aura, a deep red aura casuing paladins and mages to let out cold sweats.
"And I'll start by killing your cronies first!" The Blood Viscount declared and dashed towards the army with a sadistic smile on his face.
*Boom!*
A shockwave rang out, causing the lingering dust to be scattered. Arkaon shielded his eyes and looked to see that the gray skinned Hellkin blocked the Blood Viscount's attack.
The Blood Viscount quickly jumped back to the pile of rubble that blocks the entrance to the basement.
"I don't know what's your history with this guy, but I can't let you kill my potential clients." the gray skinned Hellkin said.
The Blood Viscount looks at the Hellkin and sees his silver eyes. What he sees is something that caused him to widen his eyes.
He soon smiled and then began chuckling.
"Hehehehe...hahaha!" The Blood Viscount began laughing. "Oh Arkaon, now I feel bad for you. Now that you're resorting to a Hellkin, an Archdemon no less, you might as well be prepared to have your soul taken."
*BOOM!!*
Beams of light came through the ceiling and hits the ground, causing more explosions. The Blood Viscount looks up and knows that the situation is too complicated for him to linger.
"Well, even if I didn't kill you, your fate is already sealed. And if by some miracle you evade an execution, I'll come and eat your heart." the Blood Viscount declared to Arkaon and flew away.
*Bshing!*
Another light shone out and the cries of griffins and pegasi was heard in the distance. More screams of battle are being heard.
"Well, on second thought, the deal's off." he said.
"Wait! My offer!" Arkaon yelled.
"A good one, but fighting a Heavenkin is too risky. And besides, you're screwed anyways." the gray Hellkin said.
*Fwooom!*
He vanished in black flames, leaving them behind.
*Fweeenn!*
After the Hellkin vanished, a Heavenkin in silver light descended upon them. The Heavenkin was soon accompanied by flying griffins and pegasi. But one griffin that stood out the most. A griffin donning in golden armor where a knight in shiny emerald green with a pure white cape.
The golden griffin lands on the pile of rubble and a shining green knight dismounts. He then yelled in a booming voice.
"Hear me, heretics! Your days of heresy ends now!"
