Frostfire Beastkin

*CRACK!*

The sounds of the hut began to break apart as the extreme cold of Frostfire made them more brittle than before. Usually, the huts made in Noltia have been known for resisting the harsh winters, but it did not account for the temperatures dropping so sharply in a short time.

*Ksshh!*

The structure of the hut partially collapses and icy blue flames came out of the wreckage.

The flames soon retreat into the damaged hut and I rushed towards her.

*Swoosh!*

I skidded in front of the frozen rubble and watch as the icy blue flames dance around.

"How did he get there so fast?" Tuya thought to herself.

"Hyoran, you all right?!" I yelled.

[Caution. Frostfire can deal extensive damage to you despite your resistances.]

[Avoiding it is recommended.]

The rubble shifted and a tumble from the sudden movements until a figure emerges from the frigid mist accompanied by the flames.

Then the mist clears to see Hyoran, but not the same. Her icy blue hair has turned to white, the color of pure snow. Her eyes glowed deep red in the color of blood.

Aside from that, she looks at me in a state of determination.

[Mutation completed. Skills acquired for Hyoran. Frostfire Magic-X, Frostfire Nullification, Heat Nullification, Fire Magic-X, Fire Nullification, Ice Nullification, Frost Aura.]

[Evolution completed. Hyoran has evolved to High Beastkin.]

Such amount of skills she earned, she'll be even more capable of holding on her own.

"You...you evolved and mutated." I said.

"Yes, so that I can protect you an my family. And I won't be that helpless little girl anymore." Hyoran said.

I wanted to hug her to congratulate her evolution and mutation, but the Frostfire around her makes it impossible.

"Hyoran...can you control that fire?" Ezo said.

"Okay." Hyoran replied and let out a sigh, causing the icy flames to die out. However, Hyoran was not here, not in her room since it was destroyed.

"Hyoran, are you there? You can come out." Ezo called out to her.

"Um...is mama there?" Hyoran said.

"I'm here, do you need me?" Tuya said.

"Yes, please." Hyoran replied.

Tuya rushed in the hut to find her. Ezo and I followed her to the hut until she stopped us.

"What's wrong? Is she hurt?" Ezo said.

"No, she's fine. Um...can you two wait for us?" Tuya said, pushing us as she gives us a awkward smile.

She then places a curtain over the entrance where we have to wait outside of the hut.

Inside the hut, Hyoran is in a room with Tuya and Tuya was shocked to see Hyoran like this. But she will not leave her exposed.

"I don't have any clothes that fit you yet, but I will give you some of mine." Tuya said.

"What about my clothes?" Hyoran said.

"The clothes you had on is destroyed by your magic. Even if it didn't they'll be too small for you." Tuya said. "Just put this on until we get you some new clothes."

A few moments later we see Tuya come out and she stood aside for Hyoran to come out.

Hyoran, walked out and she is taller than before. However, she is shorter than Tuya, giving the fact that the clothes Tuya wore was too large for her. The village dress reached just slightly past Hyoran's ankles whereas it was just at the knees for Tuya.

The sleeves covered her hands where only her fingers poking out.

"Hyoran...your hair." Ezo gasped. "It's completely white."

"Is it bad?" Hyoran said.

"No. In fact, you're just like my great grandmother." Tuya smiled.

I walked towards Hyoran and took a closer look. She no longer have her red eyes. This means that her eyes turn red when she uses her magic or she becomes emotional.

"White hair...ah, that's right, your great-great grandmother named Shaya have that magic and that hair when I was a wee boy." Olken said. "Although it was before this village was made."

"Looks like we have some work to do. I'll fix the hut." Ezo said.

"I'll buy clothes for Hyoran and Kain." Tuya said.

We then start the day for getting new clothes and possibly a lot for Hyoran. We walk through the paths of the village and some people recognize her by her face or eyes, where other people think that Tuya had another child that they never met.

Hyoran holds on to the skirt Tuya gave her because it hangs very low and she'll trip over it.

She bought clothes for us and we returned to the hut where it is fixed good as new.

"Oh, that was fast." Tuya said.

"Olken helped out and the materials were easy to find." Ezo said, waving his hand. Olken also waved.

"I also got a spare bed for you, lass." Olken added.

"Thank you Mr. Olken." Hyoran smiled. Olken waved as he walks away and we return to our daily lives along with Hyoran's newfound power.

{Hours later...}

Hyoran and I approach the river where Gris and I first used magic. It hasn't been too long when I first used magic in general.

I tried to find a dead tree or stone, but I found one. However, it's a little further than the one I hit.

"Hyoran, use your Frostfire Magic at this dead tree." I said.

Hyoran nodded and put both her hands forward. Her blue eyes began glowing red and the icy blue flame appeared in her hands.

*Fwoosh*

She sees the target and launches the fireball.

*Bwoo-kkrrck!*

She hits the dead tree perfectly and her magic froze the tree instantly.

*Krack!*

So quickly in fact...

*Crackle!*

*Krrrssh!*

It shattered shortly after, releasing shards and cold mist. That's part of the power of Frostfire.

"Woah...the tree shattered like glass." Hyoran said. "Is that my power?"

"That's right. It's a rare type of magic that could be dangerous if used wrongly. We do not want to anger the forest guardian again like last time." Tuya said.

"Yeah...just the roar itself made me tremble." Hyoran shuddered from remembering the time those adventurers.

{Later...}

Night falls and people are heading into their homes, Gris and Noire stayed in the room with me, Fennec sleeps in the room with Hyoran, Vampa, Groza, and Burya sleep in the trees, Schwarze fly around active in the night, and Viridesca returned to where the other Wind Elementals are.

I went to bed and began closing my eyes, thinking about Ashley and Andre. Ashley as a Dragon and Andre as a Vampire. After all this time, I still don't know how or why I was sent into this world where everything is completely different than Earth.

When I died, I was expecting to meet Suzana again, but somehow I ended up in a place where the deities in the game resides instead of just one.

Only for me to be sent into the void, doomed to be trapped for eternity if not erased.

Even though I loved the King of Evolution franchise, but I don't expect to be transported or reincarnated.

I have to find a way to be transported back. My body is dead there, but what if I can make it where I didn't? Make it where Suzana didn't die either?

There's so many things to do, but now...

I need some shut eye.
