Flying to Nyctala

I catch up to my friends by riding Xydrid while Miura, Espada, Islero, and Mirtis distract the Outworlders.

"Sorry I'm late, had to run on foot to avoid any of them to notice me summoning Xydrid." I said. "How's you coming along carrying Andre's coffin?"

"I realized that my wings are scraping the coffin, so I turned into a dragon to carry the chains in my mouth." Ashley replied. "What was that roar over there?"

"That was me evolving Mirtis, one of my Undeads. My Death Knight." I said.

"You named a Death Knight that means 'Death' in Lithuanian?" Ashley summarized.

"Yeah, he's one of the reasons he helped me become a Tyrant." I said. Ashley shrugged her giant blue shoulders.

"What's his evolution stage?" Andre asked as he cracked his coffin open to prevent sunlight beating down on him.

"Spectral Death Knight King with what little my EP is left. He's at X rank now and facing a rank XZ Hero along with the Archdemons that are rank Z." I said.

"Did you see what he looks like?" Andre said.

"Gold all around, having wings on his helmet and shoes like he trying to be Hermes." I said. "I'd tell you more, but he caught wind of me despite my Soul Projection."

"Damn, he noticed you despite that!? He's sharp." Andre said.

"Just him being at XZ is going to be a problem if we don't take measures." Ashley said.

I looked down and saw the trees below slowly turning darker. The wood that was brown before is now turning black and the leaves are turning purple. Andre also looked down and smiled.

"Ah, the trees are changing color. You're going in the right direction." Andre said.

*RUMBLE!*

We hear a loud rumbling and the sky darkened. We stopped to see why the sky as darkened and happened to see a radiant golden pillar of light, breaking through the darkness.

"Hiiro used Limit Break...by why is the sky turning dark?" I said. Then, a deep chill ran through our bodies. Despite our races being other than human, our instincts screamed at us that we could die at any moment.

*BREEEP!!* *BREEEP!!* *BREEEP!!* *BREEEP!!* *BREEEP!!* *BREEEP!!*

[EXTREME DANGER!!! A HOSTILE OF UNFATHOMABLE POWER HAS APPEARED!!]

"Did y'all feel that?" I said.

"I felt it...as if my entire body is screaming at me." Ashley said, shuddering.

I shared the sight of Mirtis to scan Hiiro's stats.

[Status: Limit Break]

"Holy fuck..." I said in complete shock. A human Outworlder has reached EXTZ, but only for a moment. Solufreya is at EXT.

EXTZ or Extinction Class is where a monster is capable of exterminating ALL life on this world. To even have a chance to survive, every kingdom, clan, faction, and species must work together. Ignyesa also fits in that category when pushed into a corner...if they happen to live long enough.

"This guy literally became a Pseudo Demi-Deity." I said.

"That aura is massive!" Andre yelled, "This gotta be at least a Level 6 Hero!"

"Level 10." I corrected Andre. "He jumped up to Level 10."

*KA-CRACK!!!*

A loud cracking sound was heard. Ashley looked up to see where did the sound come from. Only to realize that she can't help but look in horror.

"Guys, we have something more to worry about." Ashley said.

We looked up to see the dark sky pulsating periodically and the cracks began to widen and multiply.

*THOOOM!!* *THOOOM!!* *THOOOM!!*

It pulses violently, causing shockwaves with every pulse almost as if it has a beating heart.

"This...this is bad, right? Did he summon a Dominion or a Valkyrie Archduchess?!" Andre yelled.

"Aren't your Hellkins and your Death Knight still down there fighting the hero? Now's the--"

*KRA-KOOOOM!!!*

Ashley's speech was interrupted by a deafening shockwave that blew us backward considerably. We look to see the unthinkable.

A radiant white light shines through the cracks, shooting rainbow colored rays of light. It is the same skill that I have seen.

"That magic...! It's Divine Magic!" Andre yelled. "The Hero can use Divine Magic!?"

As we're stunned by the display of the Ultimate Skill, something descended from the light. A sword, a gargantuan sword has descended along with the divine light where the Hero is located. A straight, double-edged sword imbued by light and slowly descending.

"I know this skill. It's the Divine Sky Sword!" Ashley said. "It's a Tier C Divine Magic skill capable of annihilating all Undeads, Hellkins, Spirits, and Tyrants within a 10 mile radius along with their souls! Not even Survivor, Resurrection, nor Immortal skills can protect them from this attack!"

"That's not all...any enemies the Hero deemed, regardless of race will be obliterated!" Ashley continued.

Seeing that I have an Undead and three Hellkins out there, not even their ashes will remain if they're hit with that.

"Mirtis, Miura, Islero, Espada! Get out of there!" I yelled with telepathy.

[Miura, Islero, Mirtis, and Espada has escaped to the Infernal Realm.]

[However, you are within the 10 mile radius of the attack.]

[Evasion is strongly recommended.]

[Time until impact...1 minute.]

"Run." I said. "RUN!!"

We continued in our direction towards Nyctala, but now with our lives on the line. I used my Space Magic to give us more distance than just flying.

*Voom!* *Voom!* *Voom!*

"How long till that thing hit the ground!" Andre yelled.

"Less than a minute!" I replied. "I'm using Space Magic to teleport us away from the explosion."

[30 seconds before impact.]

"Only if I've physically been here before!" I continued.

[20 seconds before impact.]

"We should teleport back to Telgrin Mountains or the meadows near Dystoark?!" Ashley suggested.

[15 seconds before impact.]

"I don't have enough magic!" I said, using everything I have to get away from the blast.

[10 seconds.]

"Shit! It's about to land!" Andre screamed.

[5 seconds.]

[4.]

[3.]

[2.]

[1.]

[Zero.]

At that moment, the radiant sword has touched the ground and turns the dark sky into a day time. Andre quickly closes the coffin to protect himself from the sun rays and hopefully the Divine Magic.

It was silent at first, but we soon saw the shockwave separating the clouds, revealing the bright sky. I looked back and noticed the shockwave coming closer, faster than we can travel.

In my very mind, it screams at me to say those three words.

"BRACE FOR IMPACT!"

*BOOOOOOOMM!!!!*

The sound of the explosion struck us in the sky, the trees were pushed violently and the clouds dissipated.

The force of that shockwave pushed us forward, but not in a way it will benefit us. I was nearly knocked off of Xydrid's back where Xydrid himself became unbalanced briefly.

"Aaaargh! Alden, it exploded!" Andre yelled as he is being rocked inside of his closed coffin. "Do something!"

Ashley looked back and noticed the radiant dome of light continued to grow bigger and engulf everything in its path.

"Alden, it's closing in on us fast! We're not gonna make it at this rate!" Ashley yelled.

"System, how much further till we're out of the radius!?" I said.

[2 miles remaining.]

[Divine Magic distance 0.75 miles.]

I concentrate and looked into the distance to see a tall, yet faint silhouette. This must be one of the towers in Nyctala and is close by.

[1 mile remaining.]

[Divine Magic distance 0.30 miles.]

"I got it! Everyone get close!" I yelled.

Ashley and Xydrid flew close to where their wings nearly touch and I began preparing my Space Magic.

[Divine Magic distance 1000 feet.]

"Oh shit! I can see the light through my coffin!" Andre yelled.

"Alden!!" Ashley yelled.

"Now!" I yelled.

I opened a large portal in front of us and we go through it before the light reaches us.
