We arrived to the island. But it is dark. Despite the help of Groza and my Space Magic, it took all of daylight to reach to that island. By boat, it would take at least 4 days to reach there.
Groza landed on my shoulder and he began to nod off.
"You did good, Groza, in you go." I said. "You too, Xydrid."
*Voom!*
I sent Groza and Xydrid back into my Isolated Space and brought out Schwarze.
I opened the coffin and Andre emerged from the coffin.
"Finally, it's nighttime." Andre sighed. He jumped out of his coffin with his spear. The spear soon began glowing a dim red light.
"Now, by collecting any one of the Sanguine Weapons, it glows when I'm close to another Sanguine Weapon." Andre explained. "The problem is that there are weapons in kingdoms. Even worse, inside churches where I couldn't enter without...what you saw."
"If all else fails, I can cause a ruckus in those kingdoms where I can find it, even if it had churches." I said.
"Right now, the only concern is that Skyflayers are most common here." Ashley said, turning into her human form.
Skyflayers are terrifying creatures. Although their levels range from 75 to 300, they can pierce armor and make their victims helpless by depriving them of oxygen or having them stuck in the sky with hurricane speed winds.
But that's not the worst of them, they fight in groups efficiently. I remember Suzana played as one of them for a short time. She only stopped because she felt like she's bullying the weak.
Even players who are much higher level than a level 300 Skyflayer tremble in fear of them. That's how terrifying Skyflayers are.
Even if I have the means to kill Skyflayers, I rather not face them.
"Follow me." Andre said.
We began walking inland. There was no light in this island and the only source of light is the moon.
"Do y'all wanna know about the future of Evolutionism? It's right for me to tell you since I died much later." Andre said.
"Go ahead." I said.
"A few months after Ashley died, there was a collaboration of different series. Isekais to be exact." Andre said.
"Which one?" Ashley asked.
"The first one is the...Black Garden." Andre said.
"Oh, the guy who lied so good, he believed it?" I said.
"Yeah, that one. It was the first collab." Andre said. "The main guy of that series wasn't the hardest, but one of the most fun."
"Are there more of them?" Ashley said.
"Yeah, there is Shadow Monarch, Villain's Life, 7th Prince Reincarnation, Isekai Boat, and...Alpha Omega Death Adventurer." Andre replied.
"Alpha Omega!? That's in the game!?" I yelled. I was flabbergasted to find out a series that where death itself takes on a form of a human.
"Just by saying the word 'Die', the enemy dies regardless of who or what it is. I remember reading a chapter where an immortal fish died to it. And it's in an entirely different dimension." Ashley said.
"Did you fight it?" I asked.
"Yeah and I won...after 200 tries." Andre said. "He bypassed my Immortality and my Resurrection. Hell, one of my members who is a Demon God died instantly despite his Astral Nucleus."
"How did you beat it?" Ashley asked.
"I have to make him think I am not his enemy to distract him. Also, kill him before he says anything." Andre then chuckled, "Well, easier said than done."
*Rumble...!*
*...kekeke!*
We hear thunder in the distance and cackling afterwards. It was the cackling and screeching that made us stop our conversation abruptly.
[Warning. Severe thunderstorm detected.]
[Warning. Large groups of Skyflayers inbound. Seek shelter when possible.]
"Schwarze, get in my shadow!" I yelled.
Schwarze dove down and went into my shadow immediately.
"I know the nearby cave. Your hands!" Andre said.
We grabbed Andre's hands and he used Shadow Sneak.
*Shoom!*
We barrel through the island jungle where we see underneath are monsters running to shelter. In the event Skyflayers are nearby, hiding in under trees is good, but finding a location such as caves can guarantee safety from them since Skyflayers struggle against dense forests.
Well, that only applies to typical Skyflayers.
*Shoom!*
We jumped out of the shadows and reached inside the cave. We looked at the entrance and see the flash of lightning and the pouring rain. Along with the monsters crying in panic.
*BRAKOOM!*
*KYAHAHAHA!*
*KIEEEEE!*
*HYAAAHAHAHA!*
We hear the cackling of the Skyflayers swooping down to find any unfortunate being left out in the open while the storm is here.
"Looks like going out there is not an option at this point." I said.
"Yeah, even if we're high ranked, those blades are no joke." Andre said. "They can pierce armor."
"Even if we beat them, we don't know if a specialized Skyflayer is among them. Not to mention, they're vengeful creatures." Ashley said.
Andre looks at his spear and the brightness of the spear has grown, but it is still dim as it can barely light this cave.
"We're closer than before, but we have ways to go." Andre said.
Ashley illuminates her eyes and shines into the passage of the cave. She then reveals that there is a wall blocking our way.
"Dead end." Ashley said. "So...what's the plan now?"
"I'll find a different cave. I know where I can find the Sanguine Aggravation." Andre said.
*Swooosh!*
Andre swiftly left the cave as a dark shadow. Seeing the fact that he knows where the weapon is, he can do so without getting caught by the Skyflayers.
However, he can't stay out there for too long. For there are some Skyflayers that can sense magic or those who can see any abnormalities.
Even if they do find our location, they're not stupid enough to take the battle to the cave or dense trees.
