Massive Influx (Part 3)

{In Andre's point of view...}

I watch Alden go ahead using Shadow Sneak ahead of me while I stayed behind in the open fields.

"Now...what should I do with you?" I said, turning around.

I see a man with short black hair wearing a black and red overcoat. He wields a sword and dagger painted in red. When I look at his eyes, one eye was red and the other is dark brown.

I checked his stats.

So he's a half-blood. Is he trying to be one of my favorite black vampire slayer?

"So, half-blood. How brave of you to come alone." I said.

"Accursed bloodsucker, you took everything from me." Song said.

"W-what?" I blinked in confusion.

"You killed so many people, including my family, my friends, and my beloved." Song said. "I've trained for over 20 years to hunt you down after my world is overrun with portals!"

Portals? As in dungeon portals? I thought that trend was no longer rampant years ago in my world along with regression and reincarnation trends.

This guy right here thinks that I am the cause? I need information from him.

"I don't even know who you are, half-blood." I said. My reply caused him to flinch as if I touched a nerve.

"But I do...you're the one known as the Blood God that brought all of Europe to its knees. Azaron Bloodhail." Song said. "The reason you say that is because you don't even care who you killed."

I was known as the Blood God? And I ruled all of Europe? This guy ain't making any sense.

"Once I kill you while you are weak, the future will change for the better!" Song yelled, pointing his sword at me.

"Again, I don't know who you are." I summoned my Sanguine Perforation to my hands and pointed at him.

"But before I devour your blood, I will make you speak all that you know." I grinned, showing my fangs.

[Tyrant Spirit activated.]

Covered in ominous dark aura, I dashed towards him. Song pulls out a transparent flask filled with glittering powder and opens it.

"Silver powder!" I said. Even though I gained resistance towards silver, it's still problematic. It's even worse if it gets into my bloodstream.

Song scatters the powder at me, making a thick cloud of silver, sparkling from the lights streaking through the sky above. I flew backwards to avoid the silver powder from touching me. Then, Song fired a small, slow moving Holy Magic projectile.

*Fweeen!*

The projectile flashed brightly in an instant, blinding me despite retreating, but inside that light showed blue sparks.

*FWOOOM!*

Blue flames roared in front of me while I was retreating away from it. The flames chased after me for a short moment and then stopped before it touched me. The blue flames continued to burn from the powder.

"Clever." I said. "My turn--"

*Cough!*

I coughed blood. I wiped my mouth with my hand to see my blood. Then, my vision began to redden.

[Warning! You are suffering from Holy Radiation.]

[Your condition is deteriorating!]

"Shit, you're able to cause radiation beyond the flame's range!?" I said, retreating. I can feel my body burning from its effects.

"I won't let you escape!" Song said, jumping over the blaze. Song pulls out a one-handed crossbow and began firing its bolts.

*Pshoom!* *Pshoom!* *Pshoom!* *Pshoom!*

I see the bolts and I use my rapier to deflect the projectiles.

*Ting!* *Ting!* *Ting!* *Cut!*

"Argh!" I grunted as the silver bolt cuts my arm, leaving a burning sensation behind.

[Warning, you are injured by silver.]

[Regeneration on the wound has been nullified.]

*Poof!*

"Dammit!" I yelled, using my cape as a shield from the powder and fleeing backwards again. However, I still coughed up blood. "This Holy Radiation is still a problem."

"The time for radiation is limited and he managed to avoid most of my silver projectiles." Song thought to himself. "I must end this quick!"

*Shwiing!*

Song activates his Heroic Spirit and is soon enveloped in golden aura. This let me know that he wants to end it.

"If that's the case, I'll respond in kind." I declared.

[Tyrant Spirit activated.]

[Holy Radiation repelled.]

[Damage detected, now regenerating...]

*Bwooom!*

I envelop myself in dark aura and gripped my rapier tight. Song's eyes widened as my condition is recovering quickly.

"No! Not only he's repelled the radiation, he's activated his Tyrant Aura! I must kill him quick!" Song thought to himself. "He's not even nearly as arrogant than the one in my world!"

"Perforation, drink my blood." I said.

*Stab!*

The rapier stabbed its thorns into my hands and began to glow red. The red liquid that is my blood wrapped itself on the black blade, making a spiral pattern.

Then, spikes began protruding from the blade.

"For the sake of the world, die!" Song yelled.

"Perforate!" I yelled.

I thrust my rapier with all my strength.

*Ch-zooom!* *Ch-zooom!* *Ch-zooom!* *Ch-zooom!*

My Sanguine Perforation shoots out a barrage of sharp bloody red and purple spikes at Song. Song crosses his blades to shield himself.

*CLANG!* *CLANG!* *CLANG!*

Song blocks the spikes coming for him, but the force of my weapon is pushing him back in the air and preventing him to move out of the way.

*Krrk!*

The shield out of his aura began to crack.

*Krrrk!* *Krrrssh!*

The shield began to weaken even further for every strike and then...

*CRASH!!*

Song's shield gave way.

*STAB!* *SLICE!* *PIERCE!* *SLASH!*

"Kuuaaaack!!" Song screams in pain as my spikes riddle his body. Blood sprays from his wounds as I pierce his body, but I did not aim for his vitals as I need him alive

*Whoosh!*

I flew towards the sky where I am above him and readied my thrust again.

"This battle is mine!" I yelled.

*STAB!!*

I stabbed Song in the stomach and pushed him downwards to the ground.

*THOOOM!!!*

I slammed him to the ground, scattering the dirt around me. Song coughed blood profusely.

"Now, tell me what you know." I demanded. "Time is short."

"I'll never confess to you, soon-to-be Blood God! Even if I die, many others will finish the job!" Song said, spitting blood from his mouth. "Vampire Trans--!"

"Persecute." I interrupted.

[Weapon command received.]

My Sanguine Persecution appeared above me and came crashing down.

*CRASH!!*

"KUUGH!" Song coughed blood as my giant mace crushes his ribs.

[Persecution successful. Vampire Transformation, Scarlet Retribution successfully sealed.]

"You...you have multiple weapons?! And sealed my skills!?" Song gasped. Fear began gripping him as his two trump cards has been removed in an instant by my mace.

"Speak now, half-blood. Or I will make you wish you were dead." I threatened him by placing my Sanguine Crucifixion close to his right eye. "Where did you come from?"

"F-from Earth! It happened in 2025 when the portals suddenly appeared! The world's population wasn't prepared for it, including me!" Song said.

Portals appearing in earth in 2025? That's 2 years after the rebellion and a year after Ashley's death. Anyway, isn't it just one of those cliche manwha plots that we used to read?

"I've been surviving this hellish world for 10 years as an Awakened. Until you came." Song said.

What about me? I was in my fifties and already became a husband and a father.

"Did you hear about the rebellion in America?" I asked.

"What rebellion?" Song said. I furrowed my eyebrows from his response.

"The rebellion in North America on 2023, including the final battle in New York. Do you know it?" I said. putting my spear closer to his eye.

"Th-there was no rebellion in 2023, I mean it! Or are you talking about the rebellion towards the Blue Giants guild in South Carolina in 2037? That's in North America!" Song answered with desperation.

Wait, so the rebellion never existed? It was the hot topic around the world that stuck around for years, it shouldn't not be spread around, especially South Korea. And guilds?

"About me, why call me a Blood God?" I asked.

"In 2033, a red portal appeared in London and many monsters flooded the streets at night. I still remember how you introduced yourself as the Blood Emperor, Azaron Bloodhail. Years later, you evolved to Blood God due to the Bloodhail cult." Song explained.

This world is completely different than mine. No rebellion happened and now there's portals popping out of nowhere? Every answers I get, I get more questions.

"So, last question. Who sent you?" I asked.

"The golden portal. It appeared after I was fleeing from you after the raid failed. I was the only one left." Song said. "A screen told me to go back to where Azaron Bloodhail is weaker."

A screen? A system similar to mine? I must know more.

"Did it show a name other than me?" I said.

Sweat began to drip from Song's face, showing reluctance. However, he knows what I'll do to him if he refuses.

"The Mother Who--" Song said.

*BREEP!!* *BREEP!!*

[Warning! Divine Intervention detected!]

[Tyrant Aura forcibly deactivated.]

[Scarlet Retribution, Vampire Transformation forcibly unsealed.]

"What!?" I shouted.

"You made me do this..." Song said.

*PING!!*

After the message rang out in my head, my Sanguine Persecution was suddenly flung off of Song's chest. Soon, Song became enveloped in golden aura, sending me flying. I flipped my body and landed on my feet.

"Dammit! So you were sent by the deities after all despite not receiving any of their blessings!" I yelled.

"I never wanted this! These portals, this power, the death and suffering! Especially you!" Song yelled, standing back up, transforming into a Vampire. "You killed my family, my friends, and ruined my world!"

"Spare me your drivel, half-blood! I'll kill you now!" I declared.

I summoned my Sanguine Desolation and recalled my other weapons.

"Desolation, drink my blood!" I commanded.

[Weapon command received.]

*Stab!*

Thorns pierce my hand again and drank my blood. The red accents on the lance began to glow brighter. Then, my blood soon came out and wrapped my lance in a spiral pattern, and then it crystallized.

"For the sake of everyone's future, DIE!!" Song yelled.

"The one is dying is you, half-blood!" I yelled back.

[Tyrant Spirit activated.]

*BWOOOM!*

*Thoom!*

We both dashed forward with terrifying speed. Song's giant claw out of blood and my lance. When we thrusts our attacks, we clashed.

*KABOOOOM!!!*

A plume of gold and purple aura exploded on impact.

As the dust clears, I see the claw was near my face. Then, it soon began to be reduced to a bloody puddle. I look down at the puddle briefly and look at Song.

His chest cavity has been bored through by my lance. With any wound like that could kill anyone instantly. Yet he lives, just by his aura alone.

"Kugh!" Song spat blood on my lance, feeding it.

*Splurch!*

I pulled my lance out of him to see a gaping hole, causing him to fall to his knees. A wave of exhaustion washes over me, causing me to stagger.

"It seems unleashing three Sanguine weapons in one battle was a little much..." I thought to myself. I look at Song and checked his stats.

[Status: Near Death]

Ah, Regression. Just like the Korean comics. I remember Ashley likes the female villain trope back in the day.

"In the end...I couldn't win." Song wheezed, "Despite you being...weaker than the Blood God..."

Tears began to flow from his eyes.

"Mother...father...Ae-Eun...I'm sorry...I couldn't avenge you..." Song lamented with regret.

I put away my Desolation to bring out Perforation and pointed at his head.

"Any last words before I end your life, half-blood?" I said.

Song look up to me and sees me give off a calm, yet serious expression.

"Why...why kill so many?" Song said.

"They threaten my life. It's obvious for you as well in one point in your life." I answered.

Song's eyes widened, surprised from my response. I do not know why, but it may had been significant.

"I see..." Song said.

With that, I swing my Perforation at his neck.

*Slice!*

I decapitated Song, finally killing him.

[Z rank target slain. 25,000,000 EP acquired.]

[Level 2.3 Hero slain. 6,000,000 acquired.]

[You are now Tyrant Level 2.]

[Skills acquired. Tyrant Seeker, Scarlet Retribution.]

I look at Song's corpse and noticed something close to him. A black rectangle fell out of his pocket. I picked it up to see hundreds of pages and a blue ink pen.

I opened it to see every word he writes is completely in Korean.

"Damn, I can't read this." I said. Then, I realized something. Ashley has once been into contact with multiple people online, usually South Koreans. Maybe she can decipher it.

"I hope you don't mind if I borrow it from you, Song Jin-Ho." I said.

*Boom!*

I hear an explosion in the distance. I look to find out it was from the forest Alden is currently in.

"I guess I'll check what he's doing." I said.

I put the journal in my inner pocket. I flap my wings and began flying to where the explosion is heard.

*Whoosh!*

I also hope Ashley is doing alright.
