POV Alejandro

It has been about 2 hours since my grandmother was brought to the hospital, I still do not receive any news, I am very scared, I am afraid that something bad will happen to her. While waiting impatiently, I realized that I had not eaten and to be honest, I was very hungry at the time, so I decided to find something for lunch, normally these hospitals have mini cafes where there is very good food. And indeed there was one on the ground floor of the building, I entered it and set out to choose with what to calm my hunger, there weren't many options to say, so I decided on a chicken sandwich with an iced tea. I went back to the floor where the emergency room was located and apparently a doctor was looking for me.

-Are you a relative of Mrs. Sánchez? she said while holding her clipboard.

-Yes, I'm her grandson. Is my grandmother okay? -I needed to hear good news, I had faith that this doctor would give it to me.

-I have good news for you young man, your grandmother is already stable but she still needs to stay under observation, it is likely that tomorrow morning she will be discharged, so I need an adult to sign this exit authorization, your father is here? she -she asked me as if I were a small child.

-He's not here, he's on a trip, can't I sign it? I'm almost of age -I said a little irritated, I can't believe that he takes me for a child.

-Sorry, we need a firm adult, if I let you sign I would get in serious trouble, I'm sorry boy -he said apologetically as he walked away with his papers.

And now he had a problem. If I didn't find an adult, they wouldn't let me get my grandmother out of here, and my father is far away, I had to think about how to solve it, maybe I could ask one of my friends' parents. So I took out my cell phone to write to Sebastián and ask him to do me that favor.

Indeed, almost 30 minutes later they arrived at the hospital, Sebastián called me to ask what floor I was on, I replied that on the 3rd floor, his parents were accompanying him, his parents told me that they were willing to sign the document in order to help his "second son ", or at least that's how Sebas's mother considered me. I told them to wait while I went to look for the doctor who had those papers, after a while I coincidentally bumped into him, I told him that there was already an adult who could sign the authorization and he followed me to where the Xiamora were, he approached them and made them sign, then received a call, apologized and went to continue working. It was getting late and tomorrow was school day, I couldn't have a bad night, but I couldn't leave my grandmother alone either, Mrs. Camila told me that she would stay up that night in the hospital so that Sebas and I could go to Rest, I thanked him and if he could make it up to him, he just had to ask. Mr. Andrew took me in his car to my house, I thanked him, I said goodbye to Sebastián and I went into the house, I was exhausted so I changed my clothes for pajamas and I went to bed to sleep, the good thing is that tomorrow we entered at 8:30 am so I had time to get some more sleep.

~The next day~

We were in the fourth hour of class and I could only think about how my grandmother would be, I hope she is well, according to what Mrs. Camila wrote me said that they had already discharged her in the morning and they had taken her to the home to continue resting, I wanted classes to end quickly so I could go and take care of her too.

-Hey sweet princess, you heard what we told you- Karla said, mimicking her fingers like when a magician takes his assistants out of their trance.

-Hey? Yes, I was listening to you...more or less -I said a little nervous, I hadn't really been paying attention; she had no idea what she had said.

-Hi guys, I'm here for who you were crying for, your favorite diva ~ !! -And that was the moment when Sebas got into our conversation, although in part I am grateful because it saved me from a blow that Karla would have given me if she realized that she was not paying attention.

-I have a fun proposal for you for this weekend, I know a place that has just opened and it is incredible, that if you have to carry identification more than anything to verify the age, especially you dwarf because with that size they will think you are a girl instead of a lady -he said mockingly and received what he deserved as Karla gave him a good blow to the head.

-Well, leaving aside the stupid things that Sebas just said, I do sign up, we must take advantage before we have to separate to go to the universities that designate us -she said happily.

-I think I'll pass this time guys, my grandmother needs care right now, so I think I won't be able to accompany you -I said a little sad because I really liked going out with them, but my grandmother needs me so I will have to make sacrifices for she.

-Well, it will be for the next time then -Sebas said a little disappointed.

~In Alejandro's house~

I got home very tired, I opened the door and went to see how my grandmother was, apparently she was already getting better, I brought her a glass of water and the packet of pills she needed to take. She smiled at me in gratitude and I returned her smile, then I began to do my homework; I have to get ready since the exams were approaching and I needed to get good grades to be able to enter the university, I hope to achieve it so my grandmother will feel proud of her little offspring. I was concentrating on my tasks until a knock on the door distracted me, a little frustrated I got up and went to the door to discover who it was who had come, what I did not expect was the peculiar guest who was standing behind the door, he was the one I least expected to see

-H-how is wh-what...did you get here? -I said a little nervous and with a lump in my throat.
