My chest felt heavy when I sat on the backseat of the car. Ethan was driving as usual, while my husband sat beside me with a solemn look on his face. It seemed as if he had forced his heart to transform into a stone before making a difficult decision.
His brows seemed to be furrowed deeper than ever. I had truthfully never seen him like this.
But I was more worried about what would happen after we reached his cousin's pack. I lowered my head and continued to fidget with my fingers.
Aiden glanced at my worried expression and sighed. 'Don't worry Bella. My cousin is a good person.'
'Then why did you hate him?' I questioned back, pouting.
He was dumbfounded at this, and chuckled lightly. 'That was in the past due to some misunderstandings, but it's fine now.'
'But I don't want to go.' My bottom lips jutted out at this, making me look even more pitiful.
