Accepting the New World

Annaliza became exhausted after shopping. She had went to every store in the mall yet she hadn't find anything other than the red dress. Michael just looked at her with an awe in his eyes in every dress she fits but to his dismay, Liza has bought nothing but a red dress and black halter dress they bought in the last store that shows her very curve and hugs her stomach up to her abdomen and flows freely up to her mid thigh.

Michael had bought a t-shirt and two polo shirts that fits in him and shows his masculine built. Liza stared at him as he had fitted those clothes. She gives a seductive smile once in a while to him.

"I thought I won't buy anything," Mike said. "And you're the one to do the shopping. It seems that I am the one being accompanied."

"Yeah nothing goes with the plan of window shopping, you know" Liza responded. "I'm starving."

"What do you want?"

"Seafoods. Fresh from the sea."

"Silly you. There's nothing like that in this place"

Beep beep

"Who's that, Liza?"

"It's mom. She wants us home immediately."

After they bought their milkshakes, Mike speed up on the road but they we're caught in a heavy traffic. While waiting, Mike was contemplating if he will tell Liza about his identity.

"Liza, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"If your a friend happens to be a monstrous human-looking figure, how will you react?"

"I don't know. I have few friends as you know and none of them are monstrous human-looking figure."

"What if there is, but he was unaware of it and he suddenly discovered."

"You know what, I am quite puzzled. Straight to the point."

"Uhmm Liz, I'm sorry, I hope I won't scare you."

"What are you telling? I don't get it!"

"Last night after Dad introduce Adam, Steve and Eman, I felt something that urge me to drink something."

"Ok. Then..."

"That something was a blood. I almost killed a deer to satisfy my thirst. I don't know how it happen and Dad tried to reason out but I can't accept the fact about it."

"Oh and so..."

"I'm sorry, I hope nothing will change. I'll just drive you home."

Mike and Liza had a long silent trip going to her home. And to their surprise when they reach Liza's house, there were some securities.

"Mom! I'm home. Is there any problem?" Liza asked as she entered her house and put her shopping bags in the sofa. She gave a quick look to Mike.

"Sweetheart, do you remember Mike's parents?" Amelia asked.

"Not exactly. Why? Is there any problem with them?"

"None, Sweetie. Well, they were here to do some business."

"Auntie, I have to leave," Mike was about to give Amelia a peck on her cheeks when she stopped him.

"Dear, Lilliana told me that you will be driving them home, so I suggest that you should stay and wait for them. Would the two of you mind to help me prepare the table for dinner?"

"Not at all, Auntie", Mike responded. "Uhmm, Auntie, when did mom arrived? Dad did not told me that mom will be here so soon."

"Things had change drastically, Son. So maybe your mom had to return immediately."

They entered the kitchen to get the meals prepared by Amelia. Mike got the dishes and other condiments while Liza set up the table.

"Mom, where are they?"

"At the library."

"Library? We don't have that here."

"Of course, we do have, honey. Remember that we have the basement. It's where your father stays when he has to do some studies and research aside from his office."

"I thought no one is allowed to enter that."

"Because your dad doesn't want his things to be mixed up with other stuffs. How was your so-called window shopping?"

"Auntie, Liz had rummage all of the store and found nothing. I had to insist her to buy the last dress she fitted on apart from the first one she saw."

"And he bought more than I do. I'll fit it later."

Liza shot a deadly glare to Mike that made him stop immediately.

"I will just call them," Amelia said smiling.

"Ok, auntie. I'll just look after the table. I might catch a cat around here," Mike teased.

Liza went straight to Mike and hit him.

"Stupid Jerk!"

"Thank you," Mike teased Liza and he put his tongue out.

Liza was about to hit Mike again when...

"Kids no fighting in my kitchen please."

Mike stopped teasing Liza verbally but Liza was not giving up. When she walked pass him, she kick his foot with force and he had to keep his mouth from groaning.

"Kids, after graduation, Xander and I have to do something serious outside the country. Michael, will you please take care of my daughter while I'm not around?" Sam started the conversation while he was piling his plate.

"Of course, Uncle Samuel. That would be my pleasure." Mike agreed and Liza kick his foot again. This time he flinched and noticed by his mother.

"When we are not around, take care of her and don't do something silly," Lilliana ordered her son.

"Yes Mom," Mike answered massaging his foot under the table.

"Aunt Lilliana, I thought that you would be arriving next week. Why you had arrive so soon?" Liza asked changing the topic.

"I was able to finish some deals ahead of time, Anna. besides, I'm planning to take both you and Mike at Russia, if your parents would allow that a week right after the graduation."

"It's alright with me as long as Liza would not be a burden to you, right Sam."

"Yes, that's sounds good. You two should have a vacation because after that, you would be very busy."

They continued their conversation about planning for the vacation of Liza and Mike together with the introduction of Mike to his pack in Russia but that was another part of the story why they would go to Russia. Lilliana also wanted to introduce Liza to her parents so that they would know how they should deal to her once she become part of the pack.

"It's getting late. I suggest we should go," Xander told to his wife.

"Amelia, Samuel, we would bid our goodbyes for tonight. I hope we would be able to catch some other time Amelia," Lilliana told to the couple.

"Of course, there is plenty of time for that especially for the near future."

The Izqueirdos left the house of Samuel. The road towards their mansion was a fast silent trip.
