First Move

At the study room, after Alpha Max had summoned the presence of Liza who had been with Liam and Sam at the garden patio.

"The full moon is in few days," Alpha Max reminded.

"Yes. What is the matter?" Mike asked.

"Aren't you and Liza planning to mate?"

"Not yet. Would the full moon will affect us?"

"Not much. It would draw you two closer, so, I suggest don't go outdoors."

"Could we opt not to shift that day? I don't feel like shifting," Liza inquired.

"Yes."

"Mike, Chris, I would like to speak Alpha Max privately," Liza demanded.

"Ok! Let's go, Mike. Accompany us to the doctor. Marie is having stomach cramps," Chris dragged Mike outside.

"What is it?" Alpha Max asked after the door was shut and the sound of footsteps were fading in his ears.

"What would happen to us if we do not mate that date?"

"Your wolves would be calling to each other. But if that day you happen to be in heat, the carnal desire would overcome your sanity."

"We want to get married first before the marking and mating and this time, I want to handle all the preparations."

"When do you plan to get married?"

"Is it possible before full moon?"

"That fast?"

"All we need is church, and dress. The food is not scarce. The security will be coming from two clans. Helpers will also come from the kingdom."

"How about the guests? Won't you invite friends from your school?"

"Mike has few friends he might invite."

"Ask Lea pertaining the preparations for the food, Katrina for the flowers while Zach and I will talk about security."

"Rose will assist me for the dress and tailoring, The witches are the one who will prepare the tux and gowns. They will also bring the food to be prepare from the coven and the pack."

"Since it is your wedding, why do you want to speak me privately?"

"It is not related to the wedding. Do you know Dolion?"

"What do you want to know about him?"

"I have been hearing voices saying stay put from Dolion. Sometimes i keep seeking a man in black cloak . it is hooded but I cant see the face. He always say that he will be coming for us."

"Does your grandfather know about this?"

"Not yet. I haven't met nor talked to him since we moved here."

"He is the best person who could explain who is Dolion. He will be coming here next week after full moon."

"Ok then. I shall take my leave."

"Do not mention this other than you parents. Be careful."

Liza left the study and followed to the hospital to check on Marie.

"How is she?"

"She might pop anytime," Chris said sitting beside his sleeping Mate in the ward. "The doctor said that if she is not careful with her moves, the babies would be delivered prematurely. They replaced her prenatal medicine."

Liza suddenly had a bad feeling about this. She knows that Marie's pregnancy is doing well so she can't grasp why the babies had a possibility to be delivered prematurely or chances to be aborted.

"May I see the medicine?" Liza asked. Chris showed the medicines but they were no label. Liza opened the bottle and tried to get a whiff of its scent.

"What are you doing?" Mike asked stopping Liza from disposing the pills.

"We must leave immediately and bring Marie in a private hospital not here." Liza finished disposing medicine and currently trying to remove Marie's IV.

"This is the safest place and could provide the best medical attention for her."

"No! This place is already breached. Someone had Replaced Marie's vitamins to abortion pills. We will return tonight to the city."

Knock! Knock!

"Kids, this is Beta Omar." he knocked again with a pattern in his knock that only Mike knows and he opened the door for him to enter.

After the Beta had entered, Liza put a ward to make the room sound proof.

"Why use that code?" Mike asked.

"Give this to Marie. This would save them." He passed a syringe to Liza. "Once she wakes up leave this place as discreet as possible. Bring Sam, Liam and Katrina with you."

"What's happening?" Chris asked.

"Dolion had started his first move to you kids. Liza, Mike, follow me to Alpha Max' study. Do not let anyone go near her at all cost, Chris."

After administering the antidote to Marie, the three left leaving Chris to unconscious Marie. He tried to mind-link Samantha to accompany him but he can't reach her.

"Alpha Max this is Beta Omar." He knocked again in pattern.

"Come in!"

"You called for us."

"Mom! Dad!" Liza and Mike greeted their parents.

"Honey! Are you doing ok?" Amelia asked.

"Yes we are fine but Marie is in the hospital."

"You had dreams?"

"Yes, about someone named Dolion. Do you know him?" Liza answered. Amelia grasped the hand of her husband.

"He is bad news. He is still in dungeons. but there were rumors that he had started gathering his followers again despite being in the cells," Samuel said.

"Where is he now?" Liza asked.

"At the Lycan pack under Seb's watch with King Nicholas' help." Samuel started to tremble as memories of how Dolion attacked them started flashing before him.

"No one knows where your uncle detained them so it is impossible that an outsider will be able to help him unless he is able to break the spell that was casted to them," Amelia said.

"Maris is now conscious. We should send someone to help them leave the hospital." Beta Omar said. "There should be a dummy that would look like them so no one would suspect that we already know that they are trying to kill us slowly."

"Please lead the way." Amelia left with Beta Omar to get Chris and Marie as discreet as possible. When they reached the room, Marie is already dressed while Chris is fixing the bed like someone is sleeping under the covers. Amelia cast an illusion spell that would imitate the patient so they could leave. Chris ensured that he face is not recognizable by wearing a mask and cap. He also hide her hair inside the cap.

Liza and Mike packed their belongings then looked after Marie while Chris with the help of Mike packed theirs. Samantha and Liam was informed that they were leaving past midnight. They will be escorted by the elemental witches to ensure the safety of their arrival.

"Is this his first move?" Alpha Max asked.

"In your pack, I think so. His followers is more viscous than him but they are all ruthless." Samuel said.

"Since you will be leaving past midnight, I think everyone needs a bite before leaving. We should prepare their dinner instead of the omegas," Alpha Max suggested.

"Alpha, I am not a good cook but I could help in chopping and slicing. Amy will join with us in the kitchen after she checked the kids."

"Your wife's family is in a tough situation. Try to be stronger than who you are right now. They will need you." Alpha Max patted Samuel's shoulder to give him more encouragement.

They headed to the kitchen to prepare a sumptuous meal. They need to be fueled as they will be pumped during their journey to The Witch Coven. Amelia and Katrina cooked while Alpha Max, Samuel and Zach helped in preparing the ingredients. The omegas are forbidden to enter the kitchen as they need to be assured that there were no hidden posion that would be slipped in the food.
