Chapter Seven

Josefina had never felt this much betrayal in her entire life, in her day relationships were simpler, it was either you did or you didn't have, there was no need to cheat or lie on anybody but seeing that woman grind herself shamelessly against him, it couldn't help but sting.

It was partially her fault too, she was too trusting but they seemed to have understood at a point, slowly her anger at them began to cool and she felt real calm and cold, infact too cold.

She jumped off from her seat and began to frantically shake off the rapidly melting ice cream off her

"Looks like the sluts been ditched" a mean over dolled up cheer leader spat "lesson one you pay homage to us or it's gonna get colder"

She just stood there shocked, she had never been bullied here before or anywhere else to be precise and it took a while for her anger to build

Just as she was about to lash out a large hand beat her to it, as the cheerleader was backhanded rather harshly

"Touch her again" Karel seethed "and I'll be doing more than that"

The entire cafeteria went silent as everyone's eyes became trained on the scene taking place

Slowly he reached down and began to wipe her clean

"When I imagined this dessert on you I'd hoped to lick you clean and not smack some fool"

His eyes trailed down to her lips as he leaned down

"Stop!" She said surprising even herself "just stop this ok, whatever is going on here is too complicated for me to handle and I'm kind of running mad already so.."

"So what?" He asked clearly ticked off

"I need you guys to back off ok." She ssid, biting her tongue in anticipation

"It's because of him isn't it?" He snarls "that's why you're depriving us of what is naturally ours"

He holds her in his steely gaze and she quivers slightly underneath it

"Don't be silly" she says giving him a small smile "I'm not yours or anyone neither do I belong to anyone else, I just want space"

"How long?" he asks angrily

"I dunno" she whispers out, as he pulls closer to her

She comes back to herself before their lips make contact and soon she's speeding off as fast as her feet can carry her

She hears a low thud and a fresh rattle of curses from Karel, she only hopes that they don't follow her.

Seeing his bride that he had so effortlessly ditched was one of the biggest shocks of his day, but nothing had nhit him more than the look that Josefina had given him as he sucked face with that cold hearted bitch

When he heard later that she'd cut them off, he couldn't have been more devastated, but that was nothing compared to what his brothers felt

"This is all your fault" Adriel snarled

"I didn't know how to react, it caught me by surprise I'm sorry" he blurted

The look in Karel's eyes told him that he had to do better than that

"Could you smell it" he snarled at him "how good she smelled when she came, I could be lapping that up like a damn hound, so you better come up with a better excuse than sorry"

In the end they all grew silent, there was nothing worse than a pissed man with a hard-on, and his brothers were mighty pissed, and so he decided to take care of the root of the problem

He was pretty sure everyone could hear him stomping around but he couldn't even careless as he angrily barged into her room

"What are you doing here?!" He seethed

"I was wondering when you would show up" Samira replied slowly while getting off her bed

"Don't make me ask again!"

"I came to bring my estranged husband home" she said emotionlessly "and cut off the leeches in his life apparently"

"You're the leech, that's my mate!"

"Touching" she said "her death and defeat will be most invigorating"

"Stay away!" He warned

"I think not" she said curtly "she's staked a claim to what's mine, she has to be ready to fight for it"

"Why are you doing this?" He asked

"Why are you doing this?" She asked right back "you can come home and we can forget this entire episode, I might only maim her as punishment"

"I cannot love you" he spat "you'll regret this"

"We will see" she spoke icily " and curb that insolent tongue of yours, I will not tolerate such once we are united in matrimony"

With a frustrated groan, he left her room feeling more frustrated than ever

King Gunther was more than concerned he was worried sick and the fact that he was just about to hear from the spies he had sent to the human realm was not as comforting as it felt

With a loud voice he demanded that they be brought before him, two guards carried his request for him and soon two men were hurriedly brought before him

"I hear you bring news from the surface" he said calmly

"Yes my liege" the first scout says "we have news on the whereabouts of your offsprings and why they refuse to come home"

"Tell me" he said Impatiently

"They are at some kind of human School, they are pursuing a woman and they claim she is their mate we've checked and she has no records and no name it's like she just popped up from nowhere "

At the word mate the king had been alert and all his senses spelt trouble

"Run that by me again" he said

They men looked at each other quizzically before repeating the story

"Damnit" he cursed as he gripped onto the sides of his chair "does anyone else know of this"

"I do" the dark fae king said popping out of thin air "and my daughter is handling the situation"

The king blanched as he stared at the his counterpart

"What do you mean that she is taking care of it?" He asked

"Even I don't know" he says shrugging off the fact that his daughter is cold hearted "but this would be over pretty soon, you can start the formalities in their absence"

"If she is their mate then--" King Gunther began

"Then nothing, all will take place as planned, if my daughter shows mercy she may stay as a mistress to the boy, if not then--"

He flashed and disappeared leaving the Gunther to finish off his words and hell were his predictions not looking good.
