Chapter 4

After two whole weeks, Kevin recovered thanks to the care of the healer. He gave us some instructions to continue the care at home. Now Kevin will have to be very careful with his own father. He shouldn't eat anything he gives him anymore because he could easily poison him. In fact my father-in-law simply wanted our mother to fall because in the future all her children will do nothing to her, but it would be the opposite for the mother because she is the one who assumes all their needs. We can say that he was starting to do well. He saved himself a little money in a year and bought a motorbike for his trip. They exchanged numbers and so began a relationship. Kevin had a friend, Mac who told him that this girl was very materialistic he knew him very well because they dated together. The girl was called Vanessa. Vanessa always reassured Kevin that he was not with him because of his money but for love, but at the end of the month it was she who took the rest of Kevin's salary, the part of his salary that was the savings for her make-up and others. Although mom did not approve of this relationship, Kevin had found love for her.

Kévin got a promotion and is now the manager of the supermarket. He was the one who did the accounts every month and he was the one who kept the money from all the sales. To put it better, he was in the accounting department. Seeing this Vanessa would always tell him to steal money from her boss so that they would both go away from this town and build a new life. Kevin did not give in to his words, but as a local proverb says, by dint of hearing the same music every day, we always end up dancing to this music. So as you guessed, Kevin really stole money from his boss and gave it to Vanessa.

: Vanessa honey this is the money you asked me to take. Let's do it quickly and leave this town because at the end of this month we'll do the accounts and you know what's going to happen if my boss doesn't find the missing sum.

: Don't worry my love we'll be leaving at the end of this week. As of tomorrow I will begin the process for us to leave this country.

Two weeks later, the papers were ready, the papers of Vanessa and Rodrigue another boy. She had left behind Kévin's back with Rodrigue. The next day, after the accounts, 18 million CFA francs had disappeared and he had confessed that it was his fault. So his boss sued him where he was sentenced to 5 years in prison with the possibility of paying the amount owed plus one year in prison.

Mom had gone almost mad. She didn't know how to get her son out of prison.

So she sold everything her parents had left her as an inheritance. She sold 5 lots and 3 houses, but there was still a shortfall of 5 million. So she made a loan from her brother who also sold 2 of his land. My mother went to pay the 18 million to Kevin's ex boss. He therefore spent a year in prison and was released. When he left he went to his boss to ask his forgiveness with real regret and tears in his eyes. So his boss took pity on him and gave him a hundred thousand francs so that he could look for new accommodation. Because his old apartment was rented to someone else. The owner could not hope that he would get out of prison and come and take over the apartment.

He had come to ask mum's forgiveness too and to thank her for everything she had done. But she told him it was only a mom's duty. Yes, this woman is truly exceptional.
