First official date
Giorgio has everything prepared for his very first official date with his boyfriend, Martin.
Present for Martin? Check.
His outfit for date night? Check.
Body cleaned and scrubbed the night before just in case something else happens tonight? Check.
The day starts off smoothly, where Martin walks with him to campus after he alights from the shuttle bus at Giorgio’s apartment, and they are enjoying the walk hand in hand while having a brief conversation. They reach the medical faculty and Giorgio looks a little sad, and Martin gives him a peck before he walks off hesitantly to his own class.
When it’s lunchtime, Giorgio is already smiling when he sees Martin waiting for him, and he gives him a quick kiss on the lips before they walk to the cafeteria while hugging each other side by side. They start eating when Martin talks about how Kai messed up when trying to show off and his dough flew off and landed right on Professor Buccio’s face, making the blonde snort while sipping on his hot cocoa.
After lunch the couple goes to their respective classes, and the blonde is ecstatic when his class is cancelled, so he has a few hours before Martin’s class is finished. He quickly shoots a text to Martin and he walks back home quickly, and when he enters his own room, he opens the drawer of his study table and gets a wrapped box out.
“I guess I can immediately give him right when I see him on campus instead of giving him when he sends me home.”
After redoing his braid and curls, he checks his outfit again and is glad that Martin didn’t see it earlier, all hidden under his coat. He is going all out today, wearing an off shoulder top that showcases not only his shoulders, but even his collarbones. And since it’s pretty short, his navel can be seen. He is wearing a pair of black ripped jeans instead of his usual pants, contrasting a lot with his pale skin.
I wonder if this is enough to make Guido go crazy? His thoughts are interrupted when he hears Jolyne’s room door opened, and he peeks out to see Jolyne who just came back home from school is entering her room, and she freezes when she sees him.
“Giorgio? Why are you home?”
“Afternoon class cancelled.”
“Oh cool- wait-” she looks Giorgio up and down and whistles, “damn! You look slutty today! Are you trying to get laid?”
“...Yes.”
“Is it that guy who came over last time? Good grief, make sure you didn’t do anything outside of your room.”
“I’m not even sure if I will be sneaking him back.”
“What?! But dad will check if you are back before curfew! Wait, don’t tell me you planned to have a quick one…”
“Jolyne!”
“Just kidding! It’s fun seeing you blush and all, see ya!” she quickly enters her room before Giorgio can do anything to her and the blonde sighs, then he gets his stuff and locks his room door, and walks towards the pets area in the living hall. There’s a huge tank of tropical fishes that Dr Seiji owns, Larue the II’s tank right beside where he is sleeping in its shell, and the waterless low light tank that contains Golden Experience. Giorgio looks carefully and sees the Firefly ball python staring at him curiously, and he opens the lid to carry the python out carefully, and wraps it around his neck.
“Hey, Golden Experience. Guess what? I got a date tonight. Hmmm, I should water the plants first since I might be late,” the blonde walks towards the plants area in the balcony and starts watering it with the water hose, and after he is done, he gets back to Golden Experience’s tank and he puts it back, “wish me good luck?”
Then when it’s almost time for Martin’s class to finish, Giorgio wears his coat and grabs his backpack and exits the apartment. When he reached the culinary faculty, he looks at his phone and smiles when Martin replied to him.

IHeartGio: my Gio wont ask me 2 skip!!
IHeartGuido: funny. Theres onli like 5 mins left
IHeartGio: ya but Buccio wont let us go
IHeartGuido: im waiting in the lobby
IHeartGio: ohhhh I cant waittttt
IHeartGio: k class end giv me 5 or 3 mins 2 come
Giorgio keeps his phone back and looks up, hoping to spot the brunet soon, and that’s when he sees him, and he smiles, then Martin sees the blonde and grins widely before climbing down the stairs, “Gio!”
Giorgio giggles when Martin hugs him after he sprint all the way to him, and after letting each other go, the brunet holds his hand and starts walking, “come on, I can’t wait to show you the surprise I prepared for you.”
“You prepared something?”
“Yeah!”
When they reach a convenience store, Martin stops and looks at Giorgio and says, “wait here for me. I will be quick.”
“Can’t I follow you in?”
“Erm, I will feel embarrassed if you see what I’m going to buy.”
Could it be? Not wanting to be quick to assume, Giorgio just nods and Martin comes out after a few minutes with a huge bag, and he grins, “come, let’s get back to my place. The others are at the restaurant so we will have the place all by ourselves.”
Ourselves. At night, after dark. They enter the apartment and Martin immediately takes off his jacket, revealing his black tee that seems to be too tight for him, revealing his muscular body, which didn’t go unnoticed by his boyfriend.
“Make yourself comfortable! I will be cooking dinner for us. How does shrimp alfredo fettuccine sound?”
“I thought the alfredo recipe is normally cooked with chicken?”
“Hmmmm? Oh, but I noticed you always request for no chicken during our lunches, so I assume you dislike poultry and only eat seafood and other meat-” Martin freezes at the spot when he finally sees what Giorgio is wearing underneath his coat, and Giorgio blushes when his boyfriend is eyeing at him intently, “do- do you like how I look?”
“...Damn. I thought I died and saw an angel-”
Martin quickly regains his composure to get back to his cooking and Giorgio chuckles, “I’m surprised you actually noticed that I dislike poultry, Guido.”
“Yeah. I mean every little thing about you babe is precious to me.”
The blonde looks intently at how Martin cooks expertly, and when he twirls the fettuccine and puts on the plate, he grates more cheese on it and he grins, “dinner’s ready! Hold on, let me grab some wine glasses.”
“There’s wine?”
“Yeah! I bought a bottle when I went to the convenience store earlier! And I actually bought some chocolate bars as dessert, since I didn’t have time to make any from scratch and chill it in time.”
“How sweet of you, Guido.”
“Anything for my love!”
They get seated after Martin uncorks and pours the wine, and Martin keeps urging Giorgio to take the first bite, and right when he puts it in his mouth, Giorgio moans from how the cheese complements the shrimps, and he looks at his blushing boyfriend suggestively, “thank you Guido, it’s really delicious.”
“R-really? Thank goodness.”
This is definitely better than I imagined. A home cooked dinner by my handsome boyfriend? Sold. Martin starts talking about what happened in class earlier, and soon their plates are clean, and the brunet rummages through the bag and takes out the chocolate bars, “I know you love chocolate, but I don’t know what brand you like yet, so take your pick!”
Giorgio grabs his favorite brands and Martin makes a mental note on that, and while Giorgio is peeling the wrapping, Martin suddenly says, “anyway! Are you eager for our next agenda?”
“What’s next?”
